My opinion is that any politician that stops his speech and says something to the affect "Let me be clear, that kind of talk will not be tolerated by my campaign. XXX is an American citizen and a good person who loves this country. XXX and I may have disagreements on how our country needs to be led in the future, but I will not tolerate his name being disparaged in such a manner. I implore you to cease attacking my opponent in such a manner going forward." would gain a hell of alot of respect from me going forward. This doesn't mean I would vote for the individual but I would at least respect them for doing what was right. Senator McCain attempted to do such but came up a bit short in my opinion. The first time someone yelled "Terrorist" or "Kill him" he should have addressed the issue head on. He waited a week or 2 too long. Peace

we are approximately 9 million under the cap with next Monday as the deadline for applying future salaries to this yrs cap. What to do? - Sign Kyle to a long term deal? - Sign St Clair (FA after this yr)? - Sign Mike Brown (FA after this yr)? - Sign Brandon Lloyd (FA after this yr)? I was thinking on holding out on extending Kyle until the end of the yr (to see if he can maintain his level of performance) but it may be beneficial to extend him now and eat most of the cap this yr. Completely forgot Beekman was our 4th round pick last yr. Didn't sniff the field last yr but has played above expectations this yr. I agree it is too early to really judge any of these players seriously. After next yr is when you really look back on a draft (3 yrs removed). Peace

The pick that concerns me most is the 2nd. The 3rd, Okwo, was effectively replaced by Roach. Bazuin is gone and will not be replaced. Like you said, hopefully Payne, Graham, and McBride will continue to make up for this blown pick. Peace

I think that it is panning out very well: - Olsen + (looks to be breaking out) - Bazuin - (el busto) - Okwo - (el busto but Angelo did go get Nick Roach who has looked very good on special teams) - Wolfe + (leads special teams in tackles this yr; just scored his 1st TD) - Payne + (starting and leading the team in tackles and interceptions) - Graham + (has started last 3 games and is a special teams stud) - McBride + (started 9 games last yr and did a very good job in relief last week) - Bryant - (el busto - decided he did not want to play football) Angelo also picked up Tonei who looked good at the end of last yr. I realize that Bazuin and Okwo are huge disappointments but all other players have been very solid contributors. Peace

Lovie's not firing him in the middle of the yr. If anything, Lovie needs to step in and help (if he hasn't already). If the defense continues to trend as is, Babich should go. I am hoping they can turn it around. Peace
