  1. Nice catch. I was wondering what the heck you were talking about. I don't ever look at my signature and forget what I had posted there. You know how long its been since I watched Beavis & Butthead - at least 15 yrs. Obviously I was a fan of the show. B & B were the best thing to come out of MTV. You talk about MTV so much you tell me: do they still play music videos? Peace
  2. I have no idea what you are talking about. If you refering to Peace, I have had that on my posts for many, many yrs. It has nothing to do with the tv I watch and much to do with a very personal life experience. I will leave it at that. Peace
  3. I already told you I don't listen to rap. Further, I really don't care about celebrity endorsements. I could give a crap who Matt Damon, Clint Eastwood, or Oprah Winfrey is voting for. And I was just giving you stuff on the typo. You need to lighted up. Peace
  4. Agreed. That organization should be looking to the future. What a joke. Peace
  5. Check your second sentence again. I didn't realize citizens could be submitted as campaign contributions now. BTW - they have returned the money. This is fairly standard when politicians discover they have received contributions from other questionable donors. Like here - http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/08...wing-donations/ Thanks for playing. Peace
  6. An extended family member he hasn't talked to in 2 yrs - whatever. Americans are not going to hold him responsible for the half sister of his father (his father that left his life when he was 2). If we are going to play news of the weekend then: Cheney endorses McCain Got to love it!!!!! This will really play outside the base - not!!!!!!! Peace
  7. Did not realize - check the bottom of this article: http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...earnt01.article Peace
  8. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear01.article Peace
  9. Definately disagree with your assessment of Iraq and 9/11 but I do appreciate your sacrifice for our country. Thank you for your service. Peace
  10. Understood. I agree with your politics just not your method of explaining it to others that disagree with you. We all need to live together in this country. Somehow we need to figure out a way to get along. Peace
  11. I'm there as well. Just win baby!!!! 27-10 Bears. Peace
  12. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,1883362.column Peace
  13. 1. I don't watch MTV. I stopped in the late 80's when rap started becoming predominant. 2. I really don't care about you age. In fact I wasn't even aware you were 20 yrs younger than me until you mentioned it. 3. I never mentioned the class of your family. If I did, please point it out and I will apologize. 4. I consider myself left leaning but not a full fledge Democrat. I would have voted for McCain in 2000 if he had won the Republican nomination. I won't vote for this version of McCain. 5. I prefer to have a civil conversation with you. I am dissappointed you are grouping me in with Cracker. I have told him in a previous post that I prefer to take the high road and don't agree with his methods. I have also said I don't have any issues with you other than your politics. 6. I do admit I was trying to goat you a bit with the original intent of this post but you have to admit those were your words. 7. Not a slow night. Just got off a conference call with work. Now I am going to get the kids to bed. Peace
  14. Never said age had anything to do with knowledge of politics. If I did, I apologize. I was more noting that I wish I was young again. Take advantage of it while you can. BTW - I think anyone 20 years my junior implying I have no idea how things work is a joke. How long have you been in the workforce? How many children are you raising? Do you have a mortgage yet? Been laid off or watched most of the employees around you get laid off? Stay classy... Peace
  15. If McCain wins, I pray that he stays healthy for the next 4 yrs. No way, no how do I want Sarah Palin running this country. Peace
  16. Thanks for the compliment but I doubt my wife would agree given my habit of passing wherever and whenever I want!!!!!! Peace
  17. Well, I could have waited until after the election but I thought I would be daring. Just having a little fun at your expense. If you are 20 yrs younger than me, then you are way too young to be worried about politics. You primary purpose in life should be chasing tail 100% of the time. If I was your age, that's exactly what I would be doing. Peace
  18. He is seen more as a weak side linebacker. Peace
  19. Why don't you both simply ignore each other. Peace
  20. I have no issues with Drunkbomber other than I don't agree with his politics. My only point being he should man up if Obama wins. Peace
  21. I think it has been a huge mistake. This type of statement is not going to stop your base from voting for you and will most likely gain you some undecided voters. By ignoring these actions or giving them lip service you are basically condoning them. Another example of non-sensical actions - I look back at the Rev Wright flack. Hilary's response was basically I would have left the church and she let the onslaught continue. If, instead, she would have stood up and defended Obama and said our campaign fight will be about real issues I think she may have been able to turn the tide. Not that I supported her - I just thought it was a huge mistake. Peace
  22. My opinion is that any politician that stops his speech and says something to the affect "Let me be clear, that kind of talk will not be tolerated by my campaign. XXX is an American citizen and a good person who loves this country. XXX and I may have disagreements on how our country needs to be led in the future, but I will not tolerate his name being disparaged in such a manner. I implore you to cease attacking my opponent in such a manner going forward." would gain a hell of alot of respect from me going forward. This doesn't mean I would vote for the individual but I would at least respect them for doing what was right. Senator McCain attempted to do such but came up a bit short in my opinion. The first time someone yelled "Terrorist" or "Kill him" he should have addressed the issue head on. He waited a week or 2 too long. Peace
  23. DB - here is another one from Sept 11: I stand by my guarantee though. McCain is going to win and its not even going to be that close. Obama is self destructing. These are your words. Peace
  24. Everyone needs to realize he is going to have some bad games this year. Let's just hope he minimizes the mistakes and does not have a disaster game like Rex was prone to have. Peace
