As I have stated before, I would prefer a coach who wins. Ditka in his first few years was great. In his last few yrs, he was a raving lunatic. He really made himself look like a fool. Bottom line, the Bears should have a winning record this yr. If they don't, then Lovie should be up for evaluation. I doubt they will fire him, however, with $16 million left on the books for the next 3 yrs. Peace

Michael Haynes was a first round pick. I believe we were talking about rounds 2 to 5. What is wrong with Corey Graham? He was outstanding on special teams last year and looks like he could be a future starter. For a 5th round pick that's not too shabby. Peace

I am extremely happy Kyle has played well and hope he will be our QB for the next 10 yrs. I felt the same way about Rex. As a Bears fan, I have beeb traumatized by the trememdous turnover at QB and would be happy to see anyone successfully take over the position for as long as possible. Peace

We have a very good shot of winning the division. We can and should at least split our season series with Minny and Green Bay. We cannot, however, afford to lose anymore games like we did yesterday. I am extremely happy with how Kyle has played. If he keeps it up, he will get himself a nice shiny new contract!!!!! Peace

The primary reason we lost yesterday was the defense's inability to get off the field yesterday on 3rd downs. Ryan must have converted 5+ 3rd down and 10. We took away their best offensive weapon and forced Ryan to beat us which he did. You have to be encouraged by the progress we have seen from our offense: 1 - Orton has really progressed. Looks like he could be our starter for years to come. 2 - Forte will be amazing if we can improve our o-line. He is our best RB since Anderson. 3 - Hester is looking better and better. 4 - Davis redeemed himself yesterday with that great TD catch. 5 - Lloyd looks like he could be our #2 going forward. Peace

The clocks on the TV and the field are not the official clock. An official on the field (backjudge I think) maintains the official time. They talked about this on the SCORE last night. Peace

1. D-line gets a D-. No pressure on the QB all day. 2. Garza has got to go - he is our worst o-lineman. Time for Beuning or Metcalf. 3. Olsen is horrible blocker. He needs to either improve his blocking or move to wr. 4. What is Turner's obsession with McKie??? He has absolutely no value on this team. 5. Clearly Devin cannot handle return and wr duty. I would limit him to punt returns and have Wolfe or Manning on kick returns. Peace

I didn't realize how banged up we were. We have to give credit to Ryan and the Falcons offense for executing the play. Hell, they beat our arses up and down the field all day. We were lucky to be in the game. Peace
