Bush is gone in less than 3 months. The country has moved in a different direction. McCain's main problem being tied to GB and his party that has essentially been in control for the last 8 yrs. He can't vote with the President 90% of the time and then try to run as a change agent. I actually feel sorry for McCain. If he had been the McCain of 2000 he may of had a chance. Once he chose to follow the Rovian tactics, it was over for him. The outstanding speech he gave the other night was a glimpse of the John McCain that needed to run for President. Peace

A little history. Grew up in downstate Illinois. My stepfather's parents lived in St Louis and had season tickets to the Cardinals. Got to see Jim Hart, Jim Bakken, Terry Metcalf, Dan Dierdorf, etc play and, until the age of 20, I was a Cardinal fan. When I moved to Chicago in 1989, I started following the Bears. I had sworn off the Cardinals by then as they moved to Pheonix. So I have a different perspective on the 85 Bears. Looking at them from the outside, I always felt they should have won at least 1 more SB given the talent level. Further, at the time they won the SB, Ditka had the most experienced coaching staff in football. He had been set up to succeed. Peace

Brian Urlacher is no longer the best LB on this team. Further, he is an embarassment to the organization in front of the camera. Personally, I think he was a great player and an average coach. With the talent he had, he should have won at least one if not two additional Super Bowls. In the end, he completely melted down in Chicago and was an embarassment in NO engineering one of the worst trades ever. Peace

Hester needs to come off kickoffs. He has 2 fumbles so far this yr and simply does not look the same. Personally, I think he simply cannot handle all the responsibilities given to him. Leave him on punt returns but give Wolfe or Manning the kickoff duties going forward. Peace

Graham's downing the punt on the 1 was a huge play. This changed the field position in the second half and led to a TD. Peace

Exactly. Even though Steltz had an INT, I want Brown back in there. He was a monster in the first half. Peace

For some reason when Grossman is in the game, Turner's play calling goes to hell. 3 consecutive passes after the Steltz int - WTF????? Run the ball until they stop the run. They were not stopping the run. Peace
