Two points: First on McGinnis - The reason why he did not take the job is Mikey wanted McGinnis to agree that his coaching staff should have voidable contracts but that they would not tell them. Mikey is a friggin turd and this is just one of the many reasons he is no longer President of the Bears. 2nd on coaching salaries - I noticed you didn't mention the 21 million over 4 yrs that Lovie received in extension. I agree 100%. Free agency is a crap shoot. Smart free agent signings like Dez Clark and Reuben Brown are what we need. Rarely does a team hit on a big FA signing. You have to develop talent in house and keep your own when ever possible. BTW - I love seeing these contracts blow up in Snyder's face. Peace

I remember him blocking 2 guys on 1 play in the Saints playoff game. He is an all around TE who is a leader on this team. This was an outstanding move. Peace

I remember late last fall he resigned as a moderator. I think he was tired of the issues we were seeing on the old board. Personally, I enjoyed his contributions and hope he comes back some day. Peace
