I agree. Ced will be given 1 more chance. AP is too valuable. Garrett has shown good potential. They will bring in another RB to compete for the #1 job. Peace
-
Martz is a wack job. I was never interested. Peace
-
I agree. If necessary, I would tag him for 1 yr. Peace
-
Good call. Hated Jersey Girl but Clerks will always be one of my favorite films. Peace
-
Thankfully he is under contract for 1 more yr and then he is a RFA. So if he shows potential next yr, we can lock him up for another. I have said repeatedly they need to give him his shot. Peace
-
When does the bill come do for the Skins???? They have been doing this crap for yrs and never seem to pay for it. I think I read they renogiate up to 10 contracts a yr. What the hell???? Peace
-
We need the draft picks. Pass on Anderson. If Rex leaves, I am confortable with Orton, Griese, and a rook competing for the job. Peace
-
1 FB or 5 receivers will make this possible. Let's put it this way, if they let Brendan go, then they will hold onto AP and he will be the speciail teams leader. Peace
-
I agree he'll never be much more than a 3rd down back/special teamer but I think he could be very, very good in that role. Peace
-
I generally agree with this statement, however, I think this past yr puts everyone on notice (coaches and players). We must see improvement across the board. Peace
-
Leave Wolfe at RB and carry 4 next yr and only 5 receivers. Hell, we carried 6 receivers this yr and the sixth never saw the field. Carry a WR on the practice squad if necessary. Here's how I look at the RB situation: - Benson: will stay but will not be given the starting job - AP: Too good of a team player to let go. Can start in a pinch, is a very good 3rd down back, and a great special teams player - Wolfe: Shows huge potential as a 3rd down back; showed he can play special teams - X back: competition for starter Peace
-
Exactly - fix the o-line. We must have had over 30 false start penalties. We gave up approximately 40 sacks. We did not generate any push on running plays. WE MUST FIX THE O-LINE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE. Peace

It's interesting the Bears tried to trade him midseason. I guess once the season had been flushed down the crapper, they felt the might as well try to get value for him. Hopefully we will get a 3rd round comp pick for him next yr. Peace
-
I'll give it a shot: FA Agreed and resign Berrian, Brendan, and Rex (Rex gets max 2 yr deal) Draft In rounds 1 to 3 come out with OT, QB, S, and RB (OT in round 1; others can be mixed - QB I want is Flacco) In rounds 4-to 7 go with best players available (one must be a wr) Team QB scout hired (his only job is to scout QB talent going forward) Griese, Arch, Walker, Moose, and Manning Jr gone Renotiate Mike Brown's contract (give him 1 million up from to spread his cap over 3 yrs - make it a roster bonus so we can cut him this yr if he is injured again) More 2 TE sets Hass gets actual playing time next yr Peace
-
Are these guys suffering some mass delusion???? Hester just broke the records for return TDs in a yr which he set last yr. He is the only choice for returner. WTF?????? Peace
-
Disagree. - Orton started but we had Blake in by the beginning of the season. They could have switched to Blake after the Cleveland debacle but didn't. - McBride started this year over Manning Jr. who was perfectly healthy. - Payne was starting this yr before he was hurt. - Both Tommie Harris and Chris Harris started their rookie yrs. - Olsen missed the first 2 games this yr with an injury and finished with 39 catches (only 5 behind Clark who played every game this yr) and, sorry, but their is no way he should have started over Clark this yr. - Dusty missed all of last yr and was the starter in game 1 when he got hurt. - Manning started last yr after Brown was injured. We saw impact this yr from Olsen, McBride, Graham, and Wolfe. Last yr we saw impact from Anderson, Hester, and Manning. I don't see this as an issue. Peace
-
I would like someone to pay me $360k a yr and treat me like that. I would not say that I was being treated poorly. We'll agree to disagree. Peace
-
And I have agreed with you. I do not agree, however, with the following which was your first sentence in this post: "I can't help my disgust for how this team has treated Mike Hass." You make it sound like they have treated him poorly which is not true. Peace
-
Let's put Welker and Haas on the field in pads and see who wins that race. My money is on Welker. I don't get caught up in 40 times at the combine. Peace
-
I agree and this is why I would never compare Haas to Welker. Instead, I would compare Haas from a potential standpoint to Bobby Engram. Engram has minimal speed (I remember the game where the GB linebacker caught him from behind in the open field) but is a great route runner. He has over 550 career receptions and just had one of his best yrs. We don't need Haas to be a speedburner. We need him to come in and make the big 3rd down catch to move the chains. Peace

I read this article last summer. I already said I was disappointed he didn't see the field this yr. However, I don't feel the Bears treated him poorly. They obviously feel he has some value as they kept him on the roster the entire yr. Again, I believe we need to have patience. His not playing is not the reason this season went into the shitter. Peace
-
Well, he was drafted in the 6th round, New Orleans cut him and he was on Bears practice squad all yr last yr and no team stole him. This tells you how he is perceived by other scouts in the league. That being said, I wanted to see the kid play this yr and was disappointed he did not get on the field. I am hoping he stays on the team and has an impact next yr. Peace

Indy's new stadium will not be ready until 2009. Peace

Good catch. Forgot all about that movie. Surprising, since it is one of my wife's favorites. Peace
