  1. Well, I will go with 3 moments I saw in person last yr: 1. Hester's return in the SB. 2. The last 10 minutes of the championship game against NO. SF was rockin, the snow was falling, and you knew we were going to win. 3. Gould's game winning against Seattle. Peace
  2. Well, we will not be going after a top tier RB. Do you have another lower tiered RB you would recommend? Peace
  3. Angelo has been outstanding on defense and horrible on offense. He needs to bring in someone to help him on the offensive side of the ball. Peace
  4. Agrred. Great crop of LTs at the top of this draft. We need one. Peace
  5. I think the future of Grossman and Griese are tied to each other. If Grossman is signed, Griese is traded. If Grossman goes, Griese will battle with Orton for the starting job. The Bears will draft a QB (just not in round 1). Orton will battle for the starting spot and will be, at worst, the #2 this yr. I agree. Go get someone like Chris Brown to battle against Benson for the starting job. Peace
  6. I would take the best available WR, RB, or QB. Peace
  7. Disagree on all 3. All were gone from the team by the 4th yr and, thus to me, they were busts. Other than that, I agree with your assessment. Peace
  8. I agree. Take Otah in this scenerio. Peace
  9. Dude...cmon. Mike Williams is out of the league. He is a complete and absolute bust. If he would have been the 4th pick, he would have killed us and Angelo would be eating crow big time. The book is still open on Bensn. I'm not sure he will be much better but at least he is still in the league. Peace
  10. I'll take those 6 players on my team anyday. Peace
  11. He are some of the small school players that Angelo has brought in: Adrian Peterson - Georgia Southern Corey Graham - University of New Hampshire Israel Idonje - Manitoba Charles Tillman - Louisianna Lafayette Brandon McGowan - University of Maine Kevin Payne - Louisianna Monroe All of the players with the exception of Payne (who appears to have tons of potential) have had positive impact on this team. Peace
  12. I willing to bet he gets taken in the 3rd round or higher unless he falls apart at the combine. Peace
  13. My favorite scene is in the barbershop with the arguement about Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano. Great, great stuff!!!! Peace
  14. Outstanding. I forgot all about that scene. Peace
  15. I voted for the Pats. No Pat love - just want to shut up the 72 Phins. I hate them more. Peace
  16. Happy birthday!!! I just turned 42 in December. Peace
  17. Thanks LT2_3. I knew it was something that but was't sure. Peace
  18. I realize that compensatory picks are a give and take. See the link below that kind of explains how they are determined. I disagree that we will sign more FAs than we lose this yr. I see Briggs and Brendan as gone and see us bringing in maybe 2 mid tier free agents (would love us to go after someone like Faneca - just don't see it happening). Further, it is also the value of the FA. I simply do not believe we will sign anyone of Briggs caliber. He is one of the top 5 FA on the market. You are probably right we will not get a 3rd for him based on what we bring in but I definately see us getting some compensation. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17486531/ Peace
  19. If Devin has a bigger role in the offense (and is successful) I could see his role on special teams being reduced. Most likely they will limit him to punt return as he is a much, much better punt returner. Peace
  20. While I agree that Angelo should not be making these promises, I would argue that we just didn't let TJ go. We traded him and got fairly good value in my opinion. Further, Lance will be a high end FA and unless we sign a high end FA as well we will most likely be getting a 3rd round pick for him. Peace
  21. Change of pace and 3rd down rb. Get him the ball in space. Do not run him up the middle in a power I formation. Peace
  22. I was just pointing out that his size should not be the issue and using Sproles as an example. He could be successful player if used correctly. Peace
  23. Many people argue that Wolfe doesn't have the size to play in the NFL. I am simply noting that, if used right (refer to the screen reception for a TD by Sproles in the Indy game) he can be successful. Peace
  24. Check out the link. Turner needs to be more creative in his use of Wolfe next yr. http://www.nfl.com/players/darrensproles/p...le?id=SPR711296 Peace
