  1. They didn't cut Olsen. They traded him. Peace

    Great post. Peace
  3. I don't fault either side. Sooner or later he was done. I wish him the best of luck but it is time to move on. Peace

Thanks for the great 13 years. Best of luck moving forward. You will always be a Bear IMO. Peace
  5. Agreed. Signing of Okoye means bye, bye for Harrison who is a waste. Peace
  6. Free agents cannot practice until Thursday so there is no hurry on Kruetz. I am hoping cooler heads prevail. Peace
  7. I agree 100%. Peace
  8. Good signing. Wonder what the details are. Peace
  9. The Bears did not layoff any employees during the lockout which I believe several teams did. They handed out 120 million in contracts last year. Can we get off the cheap angle. I think they will probably get pretty close to the cap (still a lot of players out there plus they will extend Forte). Peace
  10. Have a great time!!! Peace
  11. Well, there's the big receiver everyone has wanted. Let's hope we didn't break the bank to get him. Now they need to resign Olin. Peace
  12. The 1st round pick we used for Olsen was at the end of the first round. Most likely we will get a top of the third round pick. I have no issues with this trade. Peace
  13. I liked Olsen but until I know what we got I am not going to judge. Olsen does not fit Martz's scheme so I completely understand the trade. Peace

He makes the 53 man roster easily (we carried Gilbert and Iglesias for a year and they didn't do crap). Harris contract runs out at the end of the year and I question whether we will re-sign him. At the very least, I see him contributing on special teams. Besides, I would rather have him than Josh Bullocks. Peace

  22. Douche bag Peace
  23. Found him - Bobbie Howard. He played for the Bears for 3 years around 2000. Peace
  24. When the Packers had Favre they still made a habit of drafting and developing quarterbacks. 3 that come to mind ended up starting for other teams: - Mark Brunnel - Aaron Brooks - Matt Hasselback I don't know what they got for Brunnel or Brooks, but the traded Hasselback for Ahman Green. Further, they drafted Rodgers in the 1st round and he sat for 3 years behind Favre before getting a chance to play. My point - I have no issues with them drafting a QB if they can use it to their advantage at some point. Peace
  25. He reminds me of the Notre Dame linebacker we had for a couple years back in the early 2000s. He recovered the onside kick in the Cleveland comeback game. Peace
