  1. Once the CBA is cleared up, I fully expect him to get an extension. Further, I agree we have seen the last of Tommie on the Bears. Peace
  2. Heard this morning on the SCORE. My thoughts go out to Lovie and his family. Peace
  3. I would trade our first (#29) and Knox for Fitzgerald. I am not sure if that will be enough. Peace
  4. "He treats us like men. If we do the right things -- you're on time, you show, which you should do, you're a professional football player -- he treats us like men. He gives us days off here and there. The way he acts. You know, he doesn't sell us out in the media, the media that gets on him for being more vocal, this and that. But we love it. That's kind of how we are, as well, and we get that from him. I don't want to play for anybody else and it think that's how the rest of our team feels as well." What this says to me is Lovie Smith will be extended and will coach for the Bears until Urlacher retires. If Smith goes, Url will follow. Peace

I am only because they should have won 2 more titles. Peace

I think calling Buddy Ryan the best d-coordinator in history is a bit of a stretch. He was very good but he had some amazing talent under him. I would say Dick Lebeau may be someone you would have to consider for that title. Peace

In 17 years as head coach, he made it into the playoffs 6 times and lost the only SB he was in. I don't see this as an improvement to Lovie other than he is an ex-Bear which really should have nothing to do with it. Peace

But this is exactly my point. It has nothing to do with the emotional end of it. I would argue Ditka was an average coach. Why? Not because he could be a complete loon on the sidelines. Because he should have won at least 3 Superbowls given the talent level on his team. He didn't maximize the talent. Peace

Because we know showing emotion is a key to any winning organization..... Peace
  10. He can go. I want Major Wright to get the playing time. Peace

Boldin tore it up his rookie year. Peace

Coaches have never counted against the CAP - players only. Peace
  13. I thought it was too close to overturn so I don't have a problem with that play. My biggest problem with the play is Knox needs to know he has got to prevent the interception even if it means pass interference. I would rather have 1st and 20 from the 50 than GB ball. Peace
  14. He's do a big bonus in June. I say cut him. Peace
  15. Nothing on the web on this. Please provide a source. Peace
  16. I hope your refering to the Jimmy Mac on the field and not the Jimmy Mac since retirement. The one since retirement is a douschbag (pissing on greens at pro-am tournaments, not showing up for events). Peace
  17. Cutler was sacked more times than any qb in the league this year and kept coming back for more. You should have heard Kruetz's reaction to these Tweets. His teammates know he was injured and are standing by him. That's good enough for me. Peace
  18. Rooting for the Steelers. Screw the Pack. Peace
  19. 1. Hats off to Caleb Hanie for playing outstanding given the situation he was put in. Fxxk Martz for keeping Collins around after the Carolina game and taking reps away from Hanie. He is your #2 going forward. Draft a developmental qb. 2. Any fan questioning Cutler's heart or desire to play after the beating he took this year is out of their minds IMHO. He got his arse beat every week and came back for more. Reports of fans burning their Cutler jerseys in the parkng lot after the game? Lunatics. 3. Matt Forte is a stud. He carried the team the 2nd half of the season. 4. If Url were to retire tomorrow, he belows in the HOF IMHO. 5. If I was Tice, I would meet with all the o-linemen and tell them every position on the line is open next year. There are no gimmes. Get better or get out. Then I would beg Angelo to get Menkins. 6. Hester needs to be no better than the #4 receiver (maybe 10 to 20 plays a game). He should be on every kickoff/punt return. 7. Players that can go: T Harris, D Manning (he does not create turnovers), Omiyale, C. Williams (his draft status will get him 1 more chance), Collins (he should already be told he is done), Brandon M (worthless POS), DA (not going to play him then move on) Peace

    Agreed. Peace
  21. Jennings is not a rookie. He played a few years for Indy prior to joining us. Peace
  22. This. Peace

I made a slight edit and a spelling fix. I agree that Collins should have never seen the field. Further, they should have cut his arse in after the Carolina game. Peace
  24. Exactly. My only issue with the entire situation was that Collins was still on the team. What a waste of a uniform. Cutler was told he could not return to the game. His teammates know the beating he took this year and didn't have any issues with it. Everyone just needs to take a step back and relax. Peace
