  1. If Velus showed any promise to be a #3, Herbert would be more expendable. So for now, Herbert is valuable depth on the roster and imo not being shopped. That does not mean the Bears are not listening if they get a call. Poles has a price set on all players. Rumors out the say Dallas or KC are potential suitors for Herbert. The return mentioned is a 6th and 7th. To me, keep him and when he signs elsewhere next year, if he gets paid well, the Bears will be compensated then. Another rumor starting to heat up is KC trading for Keenan Allen with the injury to Raseed Rice. Of course, Devante Adam's is on the block, but would the Raiders trade to a division rival? Would you be okay sending Allen for a 3rd or 4th rd pick?

I wonder what the deal is with Scott? After the last preseason game, it was mentioned on the Score that he must be in the doghouse because he played the entire game. Velus- how can he have any trade value? He has no hands, no position, and no confidence. Right now, I'll take a bag of balls haha. All kidding aside, I root for him to get his chance to shine and it happens for him. Amegadje- with his injury, I think the Bears projected his absence the first 3-4 games. We have cleared those, so if a door opens, he better be ready. Not being available early on is crucial for a high pick, but securing the LT position is worth it even if it takes a year. I'm okay with this so far.
  3. Seattle fans were happy about seeing Waldron go and Grubb takeover. Grubb put together some great offenses at the University of Washington. There is plenty to read on the internet. I went searching after the hire and made a comment about not getting too excited about Wheres Waldo. He won't be taking the job from Flus. If anything the Bears have Thomas Brown who did some learning under McVay as his assistant HC.
  4. This is a must win, not only for the W, but to keep Carolinas 2nd Round Pick as high as possible. The Bears need more talent in the trenches and getting a couple IOL/DL is a must.
  5. Brisker gets a game ball today. Love when he is feeling it and performing like today
  6. He has a fire ignited and maybe the threat of Roschin taking his job got him digging harder. Glad to see it
  7. All it takes is confidence. Once they find out they can do it, it builds more and watch out.
  8. I mentioned on Sunday that flus needs to hand over the DC position to Washington and help the offense. It wasn't taken well, since we think he has no clue on that side of the ball. What I meant was he needs to get a hold of the team O, D, and ST and make sure all units are ready and can win.
  9. And to add to the X (Twitter) trending topic, how about Darnell Wright vs Jalen Carter. Wright has regressed and seems lost this year. He should be excelling and playing near probowl level. A high first round RT is a luxury when top 10 picks need to be difference makers.
  10. For comparison, it is good to see Williams hitting the whole field.
  11. He is comfortable throwing right, but he put it to the Bengals at their house.
  12. Jayden Daniel's looked like Stroud tonight. Night and day difference how a QB can look without seeing pressure nonstop. Flus might need to hand the d coordinator job to Washington so he can get a handle on the offense.
  13. He needed a stat day, check. He now needs to put it together earlier. I know growing pains are expected but watching these games, we want to see wins or even domination. It will be a long year
  14. Playing time by the salary. They need to play it by the hot hand or foot. 3 games amd we see what we have with Swift. If the bears were a true threat on offense, it would open more up for swift.
  15. The only thing to take out of this is Caleb surpassed 300 yds and 2 tds. The rest of the game was a disgrace. I don't even know what a top 5 pick would do to help this team since they were pencil and paper champagne in the offseason.
  16. I suppose we have to consider a new QB, Center, and OC are going to take time to figure things out. By week 5 or 6, we better see it. Otherwise the later part of the schedule will be ugly.
  17. I think it is 95% coaching. These guys have talent, they are just not in the right place. Davis missing most of camp doesn't help knowing the assignment either but I see all 5 messing up.
  18. I noticed it is harder to distinguish new posts on threads. It used to be darker or more bold. Otherwise, it seems fine
  19. I was a big Thomas fan and was finding a way to draft him by moving down. I am happy with Odunze and still think he will be great but they have to get the oline fixed. Frazier C was also a pick of mine. A move down could have landed both bir the Bears were ready to move up for Rome.
  20. Is there a team in need of a RB that has a C or G depth to trade? The Bears RB depth is deep but we are not running effective with the oline deficiency. Can the Bears trade Herbert to a RB needy team? KC, SF, Cincinnati, Dal, Cleveland, Bal... Herbert is likely gone after this season. I'd hate to see go but with Bate out 4 weeks and Davis, Shelton, Jenkins playing below par, I would think about it.
  21. Me too, but the hype with the offensive roster on paper is not giving me hope a 4th or 6th will matter.
