I somewhat understand why Nate Davis might be staying out. He might have vet knowledge on how to save his body for season or life after football.
-
Some good news, Tremaine Edmund's returned to practice today.

Teven Jenkins will miss time with stained calves

Heard he rolled an ankle. I thought the Bears had a new strength but we might not see it for weeks. -

I have heard Whitehairs snapping hand is injured and he is shifting over. These injuries are starting to pile on. -
I belive I heard you on my ride home!

Look no further than pre-season week 1. The Bears can block downfield and have speed to take it to the house on any play. They need to pose the deep threat to keep teams from cheating and once they have that the offense has no bounds
-
I think it hints Edmund's might not be available come week 1. The Bears have been active at bolstering positions with recently acquired starters missing. These guys should be up to speed in case Edmund's and Davis are not. LB Mykal Walker OG Logan Stenberg and Avonte Collins

Fields - 129 yds 2 TDs in 2 series. I don't think 200 yds a game is out of reach ? WR- Velus Jones and Tyler Scott - they must have small hands? Both are supposed to be electrifying but have to get glue on those hands. Cannot wait to see Claypool and Moore together and Getsy stretching the field some. Might want to keep that wrapped up for GB. LB - the Bears have a lot of talent top to bottom here. RB- I think Herbert is making a case to lead the pack. I'd like to see Roschon get some reps with the 1st team to see how he looks with better talent.

Some needs to get in this kids head that soft tissue injuries are telling that he is not taking care or properly his body. Maybe he wasn't cleared to fully prepare since his season ended early last year with a toe injury. I want him to shine and win a new contract and set backs like this only add strikes. Get him healed and ready, 30 day until kickoff!

They are saying Sewell looks good too. He's been playing MLB since Edmund's has missed alot
-
The Fields and Claypool connection is on the rise too. Fields trust in Claypool is showing in practice and if he is confident in this offense, we might have an offense to reckon with. If we can put up points, that will allow the defense to take more risks and we might be one of the hottest teams this season going from worst to ?

I can see the top 3 picks going in the trenches. I like the Washington kid, DE Bralen Trice with his length and aggression. Texas AM Center Bryce Foster fits Poles lineman traits and Florida DE Princely Umanmielen who also has length and athleticism.
-
I think that is a modest starting point to gauge were they rank to start. A GB win will do wonders to their confidence. We are inching closer to kickoff.
-
Eberflus also mentioned today that Ngakoue will be an every down DE. His signing has to increase the Bears odds of being a contender since that was the critics main grievance.

When GB needs to run the ball, they do it well. I am good bringing him in to be a vet to help Kmet elevate his game with his vetern knowledge. St Brown is also a premier blocking WR and have the same presence since I see the Bears having another strong year rushing.
-
Looks like the Bears were thinking along the same lines. I will say this will be the same reason ESB makes the team over Pettis.

Poles not stopping, signs Marcedes Lewis, new TE3 locked in
ASHKUM BEAR replied to adam's topic in Bearstalk
Bringing in the Getsy connection. I believe I even threw out Lewis's name earlier this year as a possible signing because of his familiarity with the offense. -
They said Leatherwood went in at LG after he left.
-
Tevin left practice they said today too. He was spotted limping in a video yesterday with Patrick giving Herbert a helicopter.
-
That is damn near identical. My guess is Wright has a little more discipline, punch, and tape to be penciled as RT. Jenkins has said earlier he will be ready to move out if needed and I think with experience from last season he can play there with no hiccups.
-
I think Mahomes and Co will make #8 look great, but #1 gets me more. I can see detroit being a top 5-8 offense but first?
-
Looks like Stevenson was slipping himself from the sudden change of direction and Claypools hand was feeling him but it didn't look like he caused him to fall.
-
A few guys need to prove it, but by mid-season we have Jaylon, Mooney, and Claypool as candidates. Would love to see one of the WRs take hold and never let up. Claypool would be ideal since he is a athletic freak and it is hard to find those players.
-
Gregs take makes since. I've heard a few people state that this offense is difficult to learn as a QB/WR, then throw in WRs we had and the below average oline, it made Fields year two a disaster. He might not light it up right away, but he will be improved. I would say the same about Claypool too. He struggled knowing his job right away. He will get the grasp of it down in TC and be able to play a bigger role. 2024, the offense should be a good one while the D will be starting to spark.
