Dexter getting about 36% snaps and Pickens 25% per game. Easing the big guys in, I expect there playing time to increase as the season progresses. They might get more push? Compared to Billings 53% and Jones 66%

Fields basically let the cat out of the bag on Claypool. It was definately his interview when he was asked by the media if he thought coaching was using him wrong. Fields said Claypool would bite his tongue next time and he hopes he get back with the team soon. Claypool showed some playmaking in the preseason before he got hurt. Something happened that he soured, but maybe going to a contender will revive him. He has the tools physically but his ego is ruining opportunity.

Mooney comes down to Scott's development and maybe Velus too.

Being so short handed, they probably needed the roster spot. We will be getting an update soon I would expect

Let's say the Bears do lose out and Carolina does too and they get the honors to draft Caleb and another blue chip (WR, DE, OLT, DT or CB). Do they sign Fields 5th year to control him, see if he grows and possibly increase his value? Or would you take a 3rd or 4th. Competition can make or break a player and Fields really hasn't had much to compete with.

Heard a report that Brisker holds one arm different and it looks like he has a brace to support a shoulder. That could be his issue for being playing soft. If the Bears make a scheme change, how much time does that add for the D to gel. Seems like an ugly cycle. But new blood at QB could be all it takes for the fans to buy in.

According to our favorite, PFF, Sam Mustispher is the 2nd best pass blocking Center.

This city has been lame way too long. The owners all suck, maybe the Blackhawks redeem us in a couple years. Cubs are there too, but being a Sox fan I have reserved feelings for them. I want the Bears to be legit but they just cannot ?

I was happy with Montgomery, if Roschon is a notch better then it is a plus to ride for 3 more years.

It was a blessing he was overshadowed by Bijan and Poles had his sights on him. The Bears need to control the ball and wear down defenses if they want to win. Take the pressure off of Fields and maybe he can play better and get some completions going on play action.

I picked him up in FF and going with my initial prediction he takes the helm game 4. He might not be the starter but I think he gets put there soon. Once Jenkins and Davis are back, the oline will be better and the Bears can be more a power running team like was planned.

That is what Mahomes became. But was it Reid, his staff, and the roster that gave Mahomes the support to become a great. Fields has not had anything close. All I am saying is having the right system and support help elevate and build confidence or the opposite can crush a player and we see that every QB that bring in. The Bears either go with defensive minded coaches or they try a new up and comer offensive guy. With saying this and seeing what Mahomes has become, I do not think Fields could have became all that but I think he would be better than he is now.

Do you think Patrick Mahomes would have made it in Chicago like he has in KC? If Fields was in KC would that team be trash because of him? I think that is how some of us view it. I agree Fields has regressed. I also have seen experts point out why he is not excelling and they state because the plays just don't work. I am giving him the benefit and want to see how it goes once Carter and Patrick are back to being reserves. The Bears supposedly upgraded how many starters and the defense has looked almost worse. This runs deeper than just Fields in my opinion.

Coaching has got to go. This team has yet to be ready or prepared.

As Swifty pointed out, the WRs are quiting on their routes on many cases. Chase Daniel and Swift had similiar pod casts pointing out the problem is not all on QB1. The team is not prepared, let's see how they go these next few weeks and hopefully they get Jenkins and Davis, which are huge upgrades and more so if Whitehair can snap. LT, Borum played pretty good, check out his every snap. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4_46DDirp4M The biggest issue is the interior imo.

Chase Daniel broke down some KC snaps. Says Fields hasn't been good but he is not getting much help. So maybe Fields "coaching" comment has some truth, even if he did not intend to point. The route concepts are not getting WRs open. I for one notice when Fields bails the pocket, he goes awol, ready to scramble and he doesn't have the feel to slide like Arod can while still keeping his eyes watching for a receiver. That issue is going to take time and trust. He has been sacked the most for the snaps he has taken.

Wright seems very smooth in his pass blocking ability so far on the right, I feel he could be equally as good on the left too. LT is the premier position for a reason but most teams have 2 legit DE/OLBs to contend against, so having two OTs that can move and block at a top level are also important. Break him in on the Right and who knows, maybe next year they move him.
