It very much could be. My thinking is that this is going to be a very good year OR a very bad year. I don't see a mediocre record or 7-9 8-8 or 9-7 at all in our future. People are reading 2 much into my post by thinking that this line is going to be good this year. That is not what I am saying at all. I am just saying that I believe this line has the ability to be pretty good however it could be next year by the time they gel well together. Obviously it would be to late by then. If this line protects well from the get go Cutler will have a very impressive year and the type of year that all of us know that he is capable of or worst case scenario is where the line doesn't protect well and we end up using Collins and possible even Hanie by the end. I think with our QB depth they are good enough to get us by 1 or at most 2 games if and ONLY IF the line protects.

Its going to be very tough because of a tough schedule especially with the last 4 games of the year.

I don't know about 6 weeks but definetely probably around 3-4 weeks. He suffered a broken thumb against the steelers in wk 3 of the preseason I think it was. I haven't heard any timetable for his return but I do know that he had surgery on it this week and considering it took Major Wright 3 weeks to come back from his surgery I assume it would be about the same for him as well.

Good for Lefevour. I hated that draft pick and always will. Can't fault the Bears for taking a flyer with him though because he was highly successful in college and its not like he was a 1st and 2rd draft pick. Good luck 2 denver though with getting good value out of there 1st lol

I agree with you if you are judging them based on what they did in preseason. However I believe if given time we have a solid Oline. Now the question is do they gell together b4 or after Cutler gets killed.

There is 1 good thing that I am taking from these cuts and that is for once this coaching staff isn't giving in 2 the fact that a player was a draft pick a yr ago. Typically we would have held on to these guys for at least another year and then cut them after they have destroyed the team because the coaching staff would give them time after time. LS and JA are way to patient with players. i.e how many chances did we give Rex. As far as the debate between Iglesias and Davis. I would have liked to see what Iglesias could do but he got injured a couple of times so we don't know what he could do. With Davis we know what he can do and we know what we will get from him. Now granted its not a whole lot but for whatever reason he has learned TRUST with Cutler and that is key and the fact that Davis is actually a pretty good special teams player who doesn't get hurt every time.

A ton of talent and I honestly believe that if the Oline can protect Cutler this can be a very dangerous offense because of the skill players that we possess with Cutler, Forte/taylor and the overload of quality TE's and very promising WR's that I think work well with this type of offense. It will all come down to 1 simple word. TRUST. Can Cutler trust the oline to give him time. Can Cutler trust the WR's to be where they need to be and can the WR's trust Cutler to get them the ball. This isn't the best offense for Cutler because with this offense he has to throw to a spot and trust the WR's will be there and I don't think that is a strength of his. His strength besides the arm is his ability to create something on the move.

Gilbert being released doesnt surprise. What has he done outside of the last 2 preseason games. Iglesias, I just dont know what to think of him. He has talent but for whatever reason he wasnt able to bring it to the field. I wish both well but understand the moves. What pisses me off is the college scouting department and talent evaluators for college and the combination of JA and LS. I can't stand LS and his refusal to play a different defense when something isn't working and with Iglesias I don't think he was ever given a fair shot to make this team to begin with. What a wasted 2007 and 2009 draft classes as a whole. At least we got Knox out of it. Thank you denver for the trade.

If that is true I can understand it then. But this did come as a bit of a shock considering his flexibility to play mulitple positions.

Be patient, mark my words, if the line would give Cutler enough time to at least breath I think our WR's will shine. Remember that crap set of WR's that everyone said we had last year, its amazing how some experts dont speak about them being so bad any more. They only speak about how bad the oline is.

No way would I even consider it. Ask yourself 1 question. Which is a bigger problem WR or Oline. I don't care if you stud pro bowl and future hall of fame WR's, no offense will go unless the oline can block long enough for the qb to get rid of the ball

Yeah your right something definetely doesn't smell right. I don't think I have ever seen a rookie start 13 games and then get cut the following year. And to top it all off he plays a position that we are desperate for help at. I would feel much better if we knew what Major Wright will look like but he has only played 1/2 of 1 preseason game and Chris Harris has been mediocre at best.

Screw Revis. He held out originally to get the contract he has now and now he is holding and he said he is looking for a contract that is just beyond ridiculous. He has been a great shut down CB for a total of 1 yr. What makes me think that will continue to happen. and if he does continue to be a great shut down corner what makes me think after next yr he wont hold out again and try to get even a bigger contract. People talk about Url being ridiculous dont even get me started with cry baby revis.

For the Crushers keep I will keep Aaron Rodgers and surrender my 3rd rd pick. I will be home until monday night so i will be doimg the draft. everyone be fearful again. fyi, I will get on and pay my $25. and of course with me having the 1st overall pick I will take Chris Johnson, not like it was much of a surprise

If I have the 1st pick that means I wont keep Chris Johnson. lol. I'll just draft him with the 1st pick overall. That was simple, now the difficult thing is who do I keep.
