  1. Personally I think we need to go Iglesias with the 1st pick in the 3rd and then go Rashad Johnson with the last pick in the 3rd if he is still available. I know many consider him to be the best Saftey in the draft.
  2. Thanks mad dawg that is a lot better.
  3. The wife and I went 3 years ago I think, back when it was the Bears Fan Convention and it was 3 days long held at the Hilton Hotel, and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. I just can't wait especially considering that we get to take a tour of the hollowed grounds.
  4. Thanks for that horrible image. I think I just lost my appetite.
  5. I am starting to believe that Iglesias is the real target myself now. I have seen several mocks lately that actually has us taking him.
  6. I would love to see Rideau be able to at least show case himself during the season. For a couple of years now he does so well in the preseason and then just becomes an after thought. The guy has great hands and because of that and his good route running I think he could be a very solid #3 or #4
  7. No kidding, this is Peyton Manning type money, this can not be allowed to happen at all.
  8. I have no problems with this at all. When I saw the pic of him and Olsen drunk I laughed and the only question I personally had was that those 2 weren't driving home. Chitown you said it perfectly that he is bonding with his teammates and working out with the club because he wants to. He could just as easily stay away and not come into town until the mandatory stuff. Also look at the fact that he will be here for the Bears Expo, which he doesn't have to attend. As long as his drinking doesn't interfere with the on field performance I couldn't care less. His biggest problem on the field recently has been his diabetes but he seemed to do pretty damn well last year.
  9. For the 1st day I will be working in the morning but I will be spending the draft portion of the day and my buddies house(who happens to be a packer fan) and then on the 2nd day Pixote and myself will spend the day together watching the draft of course.
  10. All of us just get along. lol. That would be nice except I have a hard time believing that can happen for long.
  11. I don't recall Ervin Baldwin being taken in the year 2208. lol. just kidding. Nice post though.
  12. Sorry about the wait just got hoem from work. The Packers in desperate need to shore up the Oline selects Eben Britton, OT Arizona with the 41st pick overall. The Buffalo Bills(Balta1701) are now on the clock................
  13. i like that pick for them. Hopefully he is able to stay healthy.
  14. Hey hoof do you know of a good web site to get in depth scouting reports for guys like a Mike Thomas who aren't projected to go until late in the draft.
  15. Thank you for the in depth report.
  16. Harvin, Hester and Bennett = field day for Cutler.
  17. Thanks for chiming in Brian. Thats great to here about those guys. These are 2 that have been watching closely for about the past month.
  18. I am enjoying the debate Hoof, and welcome to the board. I am not about to ask how you know so much time to watch so much college football. I would like to get your take on 2 players. 2 players of which I think would be good players in our system but I don't watch nearly that much college football to know. 1 player is David Bruton, FS from ND. I am huge irish fan so I may be biased on this one. The other player is Ramses Barden, WR out of Cal-Poly.
  19. Bullentin Board material. I hope Cutler is listening. lol.
  20. I actually got lucky and just received my jersey wednesday
  21. Excellent post mongo. I can't agree more. The one thing I am wondering is how long will it take Cutler to break Erik Kramer team record of 3,838 passing yards and 29 TD's, which were both done in 1995 with Turner as the coordinator. I believe Turner will have the luxury of opening things up quite a bit and look forward to a very interesting year.

    Tate?

I don't think we necessarily need a fast WR as we currently have fast WR's on our team now. I have been saying for a while though I am looking for a tall WR who can catch and run good routes. I believe this year you are going to see alot of underneath stuff to our TE's and RB's because teams are going to have to respect the fact that Cutler can fling the ball downfield which will open up stuff underneath. The one WR I like in the draft is Ramses Barden. He doesn't have the speed but with his height and his ability to catch and run clean routes I believe he could develop into a very nice #3 guy and possibly a #2.
  23. I wouldn't mind signing him but it would need to be incentive laden instead of guaranteed money.
