Don't worry worry NFO there will be plenty of us to remind you lol. Good to see that you are actually happy about something. In my 3 or 4 years on this board I don't think I have ever seen so much happiness before.

I was almost certain I would wake up today to find out that this was nothing but a hoax and a late april fools day prank. I believe I am still dreaming. Maybe we should all invest in the lottery. Somebody is bound to get lucky. I can't believe what all has happened since 4pm yesterday for me. Talk about a 13 hour high lol.

Lets also keep in mind that Schlereth has never liked the Bears and he even ate plenty of crow last year from some of his crap he said last year. He was even ripping us in '05 when we went to the superbowl when he said that we were the worst superbowl team of all time.

I personally love Ramses Barden.

But at least Hesters biggest worry will be to catch the ball when he gets by his defender. He won't have to worry about turning completely around and run up to get the ball and then catch it. I believe this move will benefit Bennett and Olsen the most.

This day was pretty unbelievable and I still can't believe. I think I might want to buy a lottery ticket. lol.

I believe I heard on PTI that is was also 2 1st's orton for cutler and a conditional pick.
-
I agree, this is a new side of NFO I have never seen and I think I have been on for going on something like 4 years. Pix would know approximately better than me. I feel drunk and I haven't even had a beer yet.

We could also bring in good Vet like Pace to help mentor some of our younger lineman like Williams. Who better to help in that process that is actually available than Pace. We have to remember that he is a 7 time pro bowl who also has big game experience. Of course I am with you on the fact that I wouldn't want to pay him alot although he probably isn't going to come really cheap though either. Does anyone happen to know what kind of offer that Baltimore is offering him???

The reason that Cutler's int's are high is because he takes alot of risks during the game. He took alot of risks because he had to for the main part. In away I compare him to Favre in the way that he isn't afraid to risks, he is a little mobile and he has a major league arm. The reason alot of Bears fans want him I am guessing(me included in this) is because he has the ability to hit Hester in stride down field. Remember last year how many times Hester would completely burn his coverage and Orton would under throw the ball forcing him to come back. Just think if we had a QB who could get the ball to him in stride. That would force Defenses to play back to respect the deep ball potential thus opening up the underneath for the TE or slot guy and Forte would have more room to run. Now don't take this to mean that I am comparing Cutler to Favre because I'm only doing so in certain aspects of the game. Of course Favre had the ability to win any game in any condition all by himself and we have all seen him put up great numbers with crappy WR's Favre simply made bad WR's look good, good WR's look great and so on and so on. I wouldn't want to mortgage the future to get Cutler but I would give up at least 2 1st's and would willing to at least listen to any offer to gauge what others are willing to trade for him.

Hey Boston as everyone here should know by now I am a huge Irish fan but you have some of your facts wrong. They were not a terrible team when he arrived. Remember when he arrived he had Quinn, a good defense and a top notch WR in Jeff Samardzgia who would have gone 1st round in the draft if he wouldn't have chose baseball. After they left they became a terrible team and I don't know what you mean that they are on the cusp of being a top 7 team when it has been a very long time since they were ranked in the top 15.
-
Boy that would be a tough assignment to be the GM of those teams lol.

When I was listening to Brad Biggs from the sun times on the score today he reported that the Bears, Vikings, Lions, Tampa Bay and the Jets are very interested. He has pointed out that he wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland and Washington got into the bidding war as well.
-
I thought that this might be interesting. The score today during my lunch had a poll wanting to know if you would give Denver all draft picks to get him. Just so everyone is clear, we have a total of 9 draft picks however the 3 comp picks can not be traded therefore the reason I said the 6 eligible draft picks.
-
Sorry didn't fall for it. I knew it was to good to be true.
-
IF we pull off this trade I can only guarantee that there will be people on here pissed off because it one way or another. Its only nature of the board. lol
-
I am sure he did. Lovie was considered to be the 2nd most likable coach in the NFL according to a pool last year and he was 2nd to Tony Dungy.
-
I am sorry but I disagree about NE. If there OL was so bad last year how in the world did Matt Cassell become a household name and become a person of interest after never starting at any level outside of high school. IMO Cassell is a good QB who was part of a great system. There Oline play is good to keep him clean most of the time and he has great WR's to play with.

If I am not mistaken one of the first Mocks I saw actually had us taking him in the 3rd I believe. If not the 3rd it was the 4th.
-
Pix you may be pulling OT at work but lets face it, its not like WE are really working hard when we have enough time to sit around and talk football lol.
-
I am unsure about Harvin because of the system.
-
The first mocks that I saw originally had us selecting him in round 2. Then shortly after the combine I started seeing him go further up on the board in round 2. I haven't seen any having him go in round 1 although it could happen if there is a major run on Oline in the 1st. I haven't seen him getting past us in the 2nd though. So I was really shocked to see now that they have him falling although way to mid 3rd to us. I was stunned. Also really stunned to see DHB falling to the 2nd as well. Although I personally think there is a better chance with him falling to the 2nd than Loadholt falling into the 3rd. If he falls to us in the 3rd it would have to be considered a real steal.
-
I was shocked to see dhb falling to the 2nd and loadholt falling to the 3rd considering all the mocks had him moving up and up in the draft since the combine.
-
With the recent signing of Kevin Shaffer and the comp picks finalized walterfootball.com has updated the mock draft. They have us selecting Larry English in the 1st, Hakeem Nicks in the 2nd and Phil Loadholt and Derek Pegues in the 3rd and the James Davis, RB in the 4th. What is everyones thoughts on this.
