  1. I would like the pick up of him. You know he would work hard to impress dad.
  2. NFO I am just gonna have to disagree with you about Simms. I guess just call it gut feeling as you have excellent points about him. I think with the Bears he could succeed. Like I said though, you have made excellent points that I can't argue with.
  3. Just going by what the experts are saying about him. I think they expect every receiver to run in the 4.4's
  4. I like the idea of moving AP to FB. He is proven in running, catching and pass blocking. I like the idea of him being the FB when we use the goal line short situtation. I believe he would be much better at it. Not sold has him being a run blocker for Forte but I guess we could try and work that in especially during camp and pre season.
  5. We need to get DM at one position and leave him there. We can't just keep changing his position every year like this. No wonder he sucks to begin the year.
  6. I mentioned on here last week about Ramses. The biggest thing that the experts are saying is that he is slow. His projected 40 is a 4.55.
  7. I have said it several times now. Warner would hate it here even if we offered him $15 mil a year because he MUST have an oline that can protect. Without the Oline protecting him he starts fumbling the ball and making really bad throws. Take a look at what happend to him the last 2 years that he was in St. Louis and also the year that he was with the NYG.
  8. My thoughts are that there was a few bogus calls that the refs blew. Particularly on the drive where the Cards had I think 3 personal fouls on. Congrats go out to Steelers. I don't think Holmes should be MVP as I think that should have gone to Big Ben because if it wasn't for elusiveness the Steelers never would have made it that far. I kinda feel bad for Big Ben because he is such a good QB playing behind such a horrible Oline. The Cards need to draft D and do what they can to ensure that Boldin and Warner stay for 1 more year. That time could be extremely dangerous if there D can play any better.
  9. I like Ramses Barden. The knock on him is his speed at 4.55. You know Lovie and how he preaches speed. So I don't think we will get him.
  10. I agree they both should be retired this coming year.
  11. Thats really weird as the last name isn't exactly a common name or at least I wouldn't think so.
  12. Good afternoon Pix, I sent you an email on your comcast one.
  13. No kidding he deserves to be in there. I demand a recount. Is Florida counting this shit.
  14. I agree with Brian. I would rather have Boldin because he is 3 years younger and I personally think he would perform better in Chicago than Housh would.
  15. You might be right, as Rivera I saw us up on the line more than I do now.
  16. Thanks for posting that. I deliver the Trib and I happened to have read it this morning. Such a Great article.
  17. Hey Lucky you are missing the point about moving down though. Just because you move up does not mean that you will land a superstar. Of course you "should have a better percentage" of getting one since the said player is being taken that high because of talent. The point is that by moving down you can get a little bit lesser talent but multiple guys to help fill multiple holes. Where the #18 pick may get us a good/great DE we could trade it away and pick up a 2nd and 3rd. Were we can still get a good G and a good WR still. Of course all of this is hypothetical because you do have your Ryan Leafs every year but in the same hand you have your Tom Bradys every year as well. Hopefully you understand where we are coming from better now.
  18. NFO even said that he was at the Houston and game and he saw that even when we blitzed he saw the CB give way for the Safety to take the man. I saw this all time while watching the game and I thought I was going to hurt someone. Ask Pix. We watched the game together and we saw that we played Cover 2 almost exclusively in that game thinking that it would keep Andre Johnson in check. Which that failed as we gave him 10 rec. for 148 yds and 2 scores. More importantly I thought was Owen Daniels was always open in the middle of the field(weakness when playing cover 2) Daniels may have only had 3 catches but his 33 yrd reception broke our back as we had just scored, hoping to force a 3 and out. That 33 yard catch was only 3rd and long in the middle of field against the cover 2.
  19. I am thinking that we run the cover 2 more than 40% of the time. Did you watch the Houston game. I screaming because it seemed like we never came out of zone. We may blitz an awful lot but just because we blitz does not mean that we are running man. We hardly use Man to Man.
  20. Your right, especially with us using the cover 2 almost exclusively. This scheme demands pressure from the Dline. If they can't get pressure it won't even matter if we get Asomugha from Oakland.
  21. Your right and if I was the Cards I wouldn't even listen for anything less than a 1st and 2nd.
