i am going to say this every week...we do not have the team to run a Martz offense. Plain and simple, the routes are to loong and take too much time to develop down field. We do not have the offensive line to block long enough to get our WR open. It is very disturbing that we refuse to make an effort to improve the OLine. Carimi was a good draft pick, but they should have been more active in FA and cuts to improve the damn line. The OLine is absolute crap

and this is a totally different defense than the Pats play, so he might flourish in it. It will be nice to see.

Shoops and McQuarters. Shoops for his awesome play calling and McQuarters for his bone crushing hits he laid on people.

Meriweather was a good player for the Pats, but he liked to do his own thing out on the field. This can be good or bad, but he takes a lot of chances and makes mistakes in coverage alot. You have to be willing to take the good with the bad. He is a pretty good hitter and did go to 2 pro bowls. I think BB just had enough with the mistajkes in NE and let him go. Good pick up IMO because i thought the Bears have been soft at the safety position ever since Brown got injured for the 100th time. Solid signing by the Bears

yes, that's me...i would much rather run the ball and play defense. I think our team is more suited personnel wise to do that rather than pass the ball alot. run the ball, play action pass, use the TE is what i prefer. but i orefer winning above anything, so however they do that is fine with me.

I would rather have Hanie back than Martz. I hate his offense.

we do not have the personnel to run the Mike Martz offense. I know it is preseason, but this team has taken a step back imo. I hope i am wrong, but i just dont see it. On a positive not, Gabe Carimi looks pretty good for the most part.

i dont think teams will trade now...usually they wait to see what guys get cut and go from there. nobody wants to give up a draft pick

college football is a mess. I will tell you this, i dont blame a player, or any college kid for taking money that is offered to him. It happens on every campus in the U.S. and they wont be able to catch them all.

I dont really care what others think about Cutler...as long as he is a good teammate and the guys in the locker room like him and have his back, then the rest of the media and anyone else can go stuff it. Cutler is cocky and makes some stupid throws on the field. But he is one of the best QB we have ever had in Chicago and I am behind him
