It’s outside the thread topic but I checked out a couple Viking’s fan post game discussions on YouTube. That loss hit them like a hard kick to the Skol sack. The fan base is definitely out on McCarthy right now.

I don’t know what’s going on in Detroit but the further they get from Ben Johnson the more their offense looks like the Bears old offense. I didn’t see the whole game but in the fourth quarter the Eagles weren’t doing anything special but Detroit Oline didn’t always know who to block.

We just went into the Vikings stadium and beat them. I have to keep repeating that to myself because it seems surreal. Especially when Tyrique went out. I’m being captain obvious here but the difference between week one and this win is the coaching. As bad as it feels at times the floor for this team is just at a higher level. When they will put it all together I don’t know. It might be next year. I believe Caleb has a mental hurdle to get over with other QBs in his draft class. Against Daniel’s and Wash he was sailing passes high early on. Today again it’s the same thing. Pressure to prove he was deserving of the #1 overall pick seems to be real with him.

Bears are all alone in first place.

21 day window is to bring him back to the active roster. He is not on the 53 but can practice with the team. I thought there was a limit after which players could no longer return from IR. Maybe 2 or 3 weeks before the end of the season the return window closed?

Caleb was mic’d up last game. When he barely missed Rome on a deep route you hear them talking afterwards about if Rome was taking it upfield or flattening out. There are still subtleties to work out between QB and WRs but each week it gets better.

You can pretty much grab any film review of the last few games and see about half of Williams throws are being released before receivers make their break. He’s also moving safeties and LBs intentionally with his eyes knowing where he really wants to throw. Watch the TD to Rome where he’s all alone in the end zone. I don’t remember Can ever throwing with the same kind of anticipation.

Theo has his issues but he does not get beat early and give up a free run at the QB like Braxton used to do on occasion. Quicker feet easier to at least recover and lean on a guy which gives Caleb a chance to do his pocket dance thing.

For those of us old enough to remember, 4th quarter come-back wins was Brady's calling card early in his career...before he was Tom Terrific.

Caleb is way ahead of Brady and Rodgers midway through their second seasons.

Just saw a headline pop up on some news feed stating analyst says Broncos should move on from Bo Nix. I don't read these things since details don't matter to me but the narrative on him is clearly starting to change.

The strength and power Austin Booker added in his first NFL offseason is legit. With more snaps he’s going to be a good player for us.

1.5 seasons to become a top 10 QB. That’s pretty good.

I don’t know how much of a good thing CJ has been in coverage. There were a lot of blown coverage his first game and quite a few last game. Making splash plays is good. Giving them up is bad. Hopefully we’ll see more consistency in the next game.

This time around we've got the running game that we didn't have in week 1. It will help a lot when Minn presses the LOS.

To be fair the Giants LT kept blocking inside giving CJ a free run to the QB. You could say those sacks belong more to the DC if that was something seen on film study. Still CJ has to make the play that's put before him and he did.
