  1. My 2 big concerns were the OL and how well Tice can do as an OC. After the game, those are still my 2 big concerns. I know it was just one preseason game, just saying they didn't alleviate either.
  2. He's definitely leaving a good first impression on the field

    Sorry Jason

Seattle just seems like a vacuum where WR's go to never be heard from again. T.J. Houshmandzadeh went from a great WR to off the map there. Sidney Rice has had constant injuries but he's and the radar again this year. I just had a hard time setting TO's numbers even that high there after missing training camp up to when preseason games start and the history of good WR's that go there.
  4. 'TD'

    Sorry Jason

Moss, I think over 750+ yards and 6 TDs TO's in a worst situation and just now joining their team. I'll go for 500+ yards 4TDs On a better team, I would putt both at 900+ yards and 8 TDs.

    Sorry Jason

TO is now a Seahawk for the year, he cans still run a 40 in 4.45.
  6. I just meant he only averaged around 2 catches a game last year and around 3 the other years. If he is catching everything thrown his way, then apparently he isn't getting open much.
  7. I'm here reading everyday, I just don't post nearly as much.
  8. We'll get an idea of what he has soon. I never got the Bennett love tho. I know he's pretty popular to fans, I've just never seen anything that has impressed me and his stats hint towards him not getting open.
  9. I totally respect what the lions have done. I think the Packers have one of the best QBs in the NFL, yet don't have the best team. Their offenses are prolific, and I don't expect Cutler to touch their numbers this year. The Bears defense, while old, have not started to show the signs of it. As much as I hate the Lovie 2, they are one of the most talented and best defenses in the NFL. Neither team has a running back in Forte's league. Also the special teams of the Bears has been one of the most dominate of every aspect. I just can't see them being considered the #3 team in the division coming into this year, especially considering how devastated this team was by injuries not counting just Cutler and Forte.
  10. Third best offense possibly in the North, possibly, but no way third best team. The defense and special teams are light years beyond GB and Detroit. The Bears are arguably the best team in the division if not for Green Bay's recent success and unanswered questions on offense.
  11. i tried to draft the other day in just a yahoo draft. I couldn't get in. I had to update my java and it worked fine after.
  12. I completely disagree with you on the trade down scenario. Since the Bears are going to win the Super Bowl this year, there is no way they can trade the last pick in the draft for a 1st and a 2nd. I could see it for a 2nd and 3rd or 2nd and 4th.
  13. I looked up the tweet. It's kinda vague and doesn't necessarily mean anything is pending. peggy kusinski ‏@peggykusinski #Bears GM Emery hard at work, trading for DT Brian Price Thursday, and he's not done dealing yet... Stay tuned
  14. I wonder if it is Hester. He's been talked up a lot by coaches and players.
  15. You're right. It just annoys me all the WR's that have came through and none have really developed into a complete WR. I woulda liked to see a change there personally, so Jefferies has every chance to reach his potential.
  16. Knox would have definitely been playing this year if he wasn't hurt. For all the criticism he gets, he was the Bears best WR in a long time and still could have developed more. What he was lacking I put on Drake, he hasn't developed a WR that I can think of since he has been here. Knox hasn't really grown considerably since he was a 5th round pick, neither has Bennett, Hester, Bradley, Iglesias, and so on that he has worked with.
  17. Melton should be fine, he was like a half a sack behind the lead in DT's last year. That leaves a lot of players to fill the other position, so DT has never been an issue in my eyes going into this season. I think there are definitely other areas with bigger question marks.
  18. His deal keeps getting smaller and smaller everytime I see it mentioned some where lol.
  19. I personally applaud the Cheesehead for doing a little research and being knowledgeable for the Bears. He actually through up valid points instead of the nonsense you would normally read. I personally couldn't make a solid list like that about any other team, even tho every team in the league has an equal list that can be made. The Bears bed is made, the hand is dealt, so you won't be seeing me throwing up pointless threads at this point about the O-Line and so on. I'm just ready to see the Bears take the field, win some games, and cheer on the team. Next offseason, I'll be putting up posts about addressing the line and so on as needed, because at that point I'll be critical of the moves made to improve the team that I love. I'm excited for this year and koolaiding out the bad stuff, until games start being played.
  20. The Randy Ratio, need I say more?
  21. I don't think that will be a problem with Forte. He played out the rookie contract and really wasn't vocal until it was played out. After seeing the details that have came out so far, I say he was probably in the right for waiting this long to accept his contract.
  22. I'm glad you posted that, my invite went straight to my spam folder, and I even have yahoo mail. Go figure. I wouldn't mind trying a keepers league. I think I missed the draft last year by accident and my team sucked, but I'm sure there is someone on there worth keeping. Never been in a league like that yet.
  23. I'm glad to see him signed.
  24. Jeffery may even end up starting. I've heard an interview after he was drafted where Emery hinted at that. I just really have a problem with that sites credibility and the reasoning behind the article.
