Between he and Burton we could have ONE really good TE. ?
-
Saw an interview he did today (or yesterday) on ChicagoBears.com. Mentioned he was drafted in NO while Pace was there. Wasn’t that a similar path that Hicks followed? Difference being Graham was better on the front end and Hicks is still getting better. Or at least excelled since getting to Chicago. Maybe this’ll be another reclamation project?

Good point on the seam route. That would divide the ball field into thirds (rather than halves) for the safeties. As long as Graham is faster than the opposing LB then he’s still serviceable...with an NB, maybe not so. So Adam this is in your wheelhouse; been seeing a lot of flaming about the Bears getting Graham on his deal and not trying for Ebron (who ended up with Pitts). Why is that? Simply because of the contracts they signed? Also seeing a fair amount on the Foles versus Cam front too. Of the two I actually think Pace did right there. Would’ve liked someone a little more Franchisy QB but Foles will do. Especially if they draft a new guy this year.

? Really none of these are appealing. All of them have averaged over 4 yards for their career. All have some experience catching out of the backfield (Montgomery used to be a receiver). Clement has been put on IR each of his last two seasons (Knee in 2018 and shoulder last year). Of these guys Ware may make the most sense. He ended last year on IR too (shoulder) but has been with KC the last 4 years (familiarly with Nagy) and had nearly 1000 yards in 2016. Like SS they’re probably going to need someone in the early stages of the draft.

Playing with a chip on his shoulder? Maybe? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001107729/article/jimmy-graham-i-still-have-ability-to-make-big-plays ...and a quick personal message

4 of that 7 were drafted by the Bears. One (Brauneker) was signed by the Bears as an UDFA and Massie and Burton came by way of trade. All but one of them (Brauneker) were projected starters last year.... Agreed they could stand for better players on offense; but should Pace be the one doing it?
-
Ouch... it’ll be entertaining to watch he and Leno battle for the position...oy vey!!!
-
Damn...I knew I wasn’t thinking clearly earlier. Solitary confinement and rum and coke are a bad combination. ok...how about on offense? Lol!!!
-
So...the question begs to be asked. Do the Bears currently have any first round pick on the team guaranteed to start in their respective position? *edit: besides Khalil Mack.

Sam Mustipher (Center (Guard?) from Notre Dame) is still on the roster too. He was ranked 8th overall olineman according to WalterFootball.com prior to last years draft. https://walterfootball.com/draft2019C.php

Saw that Carolina tried peddling him to the Bears and the Chargers. Neither took the bait. One of several rumors has him ending up in NE as a ‘try out’.
-
Hmmm...wasn't it the first game against GB that the pass to run ratio was something like 45 : 10? Not sure I believe that...
-
You’re bound and determined to win that bet eh? Lol!!! Id be cool with it. Think there will be some players like him that will become available as the offseason wears on and draft day goes by. Someone mentioned a Josh Sitton like situation working out for us.

I hear good things about this kid as well as the Davis character that Adam brought up earlier. It seems the Safety talent is relatively deep this year. May not have to use a 2nd unless all four top rung candidates go quick.
-
Wow...if the Bears could pull that off that would be pretty sweet. As you say, Delpit and McKinney (Bama) are first round talent. Delpit actually ranked higher of the two. The Bears D would be jut about complete with one of these two.

Interesting trivia about Adams is he apparently keeps a list of all the players who were drafted ahead of him (Trubisky among them). He says he was sure Chicago was going to draft him... but they didn’t. (Too much time to read stuff while in lock down ?).
-
Maybe not such a bad option (Qb that is) if Foles works out and you get a decent QB for a five year rookie deal. And the speculation here is they could really bolster the defense enough that they wouldn’t need to spend much more on the offense. Maybe pick up a few low hanging FA oline men or draft. And add one more skill player; RB or WR. ?

In another thread I added that there are rumors, although more along the lines of murmurs that the Bears are talking to Jamal Adams. This was a story on how that could happen. https://beargoggleson.com/2020/03/20/chicago-bears-rumors-trade-jamal-adams/

To make things interesting while I take a break from my NetFlix binging; happened upon a thread where someone said there are trade rumors involving Jamal Adams. Sounds like he hasn’t quite committed to going back to the Jets yet. Here’s a story with a few other theories. https://beargoggleson.com/2020/03/20/chicago-bears-rumors-trade-jamal-adams/

Welcome to the board! You’ll find most here will agree with you on the o-line; need an improvement. Not as many will agree about Monty. I’m more like you; still need to see more from him. This is only his second year so provided the o-line improves so too should David .
