  1. What constitutes someone's eligibility to be employed is getting ridiculous. What's next; hunters for killing deer, devout Christians for believing in biblical sin? ?
  2. That was the rub the last couple years with Trubisky. Was Trubisky late or Arob slow off the break? He's a possession receiver, not a dominant #1.
  3. Good summary Adam. At this point, it's only Detroit and the Raiders. I don't think much of either team. But, the team looks different with Lazor calling plays. I can actually see that it has given the defense confidence. Lazor wins the time of possession battle and gives our D a rest. He also schemes an offense that allows our OL to succeed. They weren't perfect today, but the effort and physicality was really good. Especially with the middle three. I'll take the ugly wins everyday!
  4. You may be right, according to how dumb the family is regarding football. Eventually, Nagy will want to call plays again to the detriment of the team. I am still firm that Pace needs to go. If Nagy can stay a sideline HC, I don't mind him. But, as previously stated, I don't believe he's humble enough to stay off the play calling. So, he still needs to go as well...
  5. Totally agree. Nagy is the key to his own success or demise. IE: best friend or worst enemy...
  6. Raiders are overrated. This a winnable game with either QB.

Fields now gives us the best chance to win. Dalton is finished, as he is reluctant to throw downfield.

Nagy has an overwhelming desire and drive to call plays. You are right about his ego/blindness. Maybe, as he matures as a human being, he will have the humility for the greater good. He doesn't have it now, so yes he still needs to go.

Nice write up. My hope is that Pace permanently put an end to Nagy calling plays.
  10. In my vision it's a direct hit to the jaw, with spit and teeth flying. In slow motion!
  11. When a defense spends that much time on the field, their asses are worn out.
  12. My strongest wish for this week, is that we win 21-20 with three D/ST TD's, while our offense gains one more yard than last week. Nagy at the post game presser talks about progress made with the one used increase. Then, like a fantasy movie, Virginia flies across the room feet first and ninja kicks Nagy from the podium. I can see it when I close my eyes and it is blissfull...
  13. They know. They saw it last year. They've all worked for other organizations and talk to other professionals. Nagy's own players have dissed him this week and in the past. Nagy is a laughingstock.
  14. It's just Nagy. His staff has to eat it and follow suit.
  15. Pace has to answer to someone. I also liked Ted on the money role, but he should be CFO, not team president.
  16. Was referring to the last two years.
  17. And I would be happy to bring the tailgating stuff and have a blast meeting my Bearstalk brothers!
  18. First off, welcome back AZ! I've missed your perspective and wisdom. That being said, I could not disagree more regarding Pace. From a talent perspective alone, he has had more losses than wins. After that, subtract the two and a half drafts he's traded away for his convictions on players. Finally, we've never been in worse cap position to cut, trade or sign players. Our OL and DB situation is enough to get anyone fired. Edit: The fact that Nagy is still calling plays also shows a huge lack of balls for the boss man.
  19. Not one negative I can think of. I didn't care for the Soldier Field experience.
  20. Here's the rub and where Nagy has already hanged himself. He said, "trust us, we have a plan for Justin and he will play when he's ready." So here we are. Was he ready? Was he ready for that? Is there any positive way to even call that a learning experience? No way in hell. If that was the gameplan Foles should have been QB1.
