I said this last year and it bears repeating, Rashad Cowherd is terrible. He also cost David Montgomery two touchdowns and 50 yards in the run game. He plays way too high and way too indecisive. Bars will be back to starting Sunday.

Lol, I feel you bro. However, there is holding on every play.(the NFL is big enough to assign a team to look at OL play, with the ability for NY to call the field and tell the officials to clean it up while not slowing the game) I would love for every personal foul play to be reviewed, with the advantage going to the offender.(football is too violent of a sport to penalize the aggressor unfairly) Also, every pass interference, or lack there of, should be challengeable like it was last year.

Just had to get me started didn't ya, lol. Been on the OL kick for 15 years. OL has the highest success rate, of all the positions, when drafted in the first two rounds. So, why not do it? Why not be able to run to help your QB? It's no wonder we can't develop our QB's. When the leaders of the franchise are content with having the team draw fans and buy jerseys, you can't build.
-
Agreed. Unfortunately, it is in his head and that's the hardest thing to fix.
-
Better OL, weapons and Andy Reid is a monster improvement in situation for anyone. I feel Trubisky could be good there. The main question is this, would he hit that wide open receiver running deep. Mahomes rarely misses that guy.

I'd do it straight up

Since Dak is IR, do I have to keep him pin my team to be able to keep him next year?
-
No. They both can't process

Shaheen, Mike Davis, Kwiatkowski and Amos are all playing well. Make a note that zero OL have left that are playing well. Huge need drafting. Where's my boy Jason?
-
Got to keep the corners. I would feel comfortable drafting OT on the first and second round, then cut one of them and renegotiate the other. I am positive a rookie could come in and play to Leno's level, even with the learning curve. OT, OT, DT, DE, ILB, RB, QB

As much as I don't like Pagano, he gets the game ball. Way to bring it the second half. Hopefully more to come.
-
On a lighter note; Shaheen is starting for the Dolphins.
-
I read today that they are working him into the plan more.

We continue to talk about a lack of depth in this team. At the top is pace, who has traded two drafts away. We look slow and weak on defense because Pagano coaches chicken shit defense. He only dials something up when the odds tell him too. If you've ever played poker, you know that is not the way to go. We can't do anything on offense because the neglected OL is trash and it gets exposed against a strong defense. No more trading picks away! It destroys depth and the cap.
-
Agreed. We also need an OL to protect the youngster.
-
I don't how to explain any more than I have. Urban is completely beaten. DL are trained to keep OL from turning them as much as OL are trained to try to turn them. Holding or not, he's one on one getting owned by the OL. Trevathon is a different story. His job is to never let anyone get there hands on him. Fail, hold or not. No possible way you convince me they were not advised on that play.
-
Thanks. Lol, I'm getting murdered in my money league that I've been in for 22 years. My team here is taking a little sting out of it. Blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally...
-
Red line is LOS. And Trevathon is disengaging from the blocker at this point. His job is to meet the RB at the LOS. Then, we look at the other guy getting mauled and turned almost perpendicular to the LOS. Yes, he's getting held, but you don't let a guy make you his bitch like that. Terrible play for those two Bears.
-
Mack truly is getting held on every single snap. He doesn't complain and keeps on grinding. The NFL has instructed the officials not to call a lot of penalties they usually do. That's why scoring is up. I'm going out levels out, because it is ridiculous and not fair to teams that are defensively minded. It's also why I'm screaming for Pagano to dial up some exotic blitzes. Gotta disagree on the Trevathon hold. He should have never let a man get his hands on him 5 yards deep. That was pathetic.

Have they responded to you? And have they been reliable in the past?

3-0 baby! And the defense doesn't have a damn thing to do with it. Our offense has done the work as our defense totally underwhelmed me. Through this start, the offense is leading their opponents in yards, points, 3rd down conversion % and time of possession. The defender was supposed to be a strength, but is has not shown yet. Whether it is the long drive or the big play, they keep getting gutted. A few things I have noticed: The pressure is there, but nobody is getting there! The result is this; QB has time to make reads and throws. DB's can't cover forever. In the run game I've noticed 3 things. Aside from Hicks, the d line is getting turned at the point of impact. Their shoulders must remain square to the play. Danny Trevathon is done! I watched him on consecutive plays yesterday get blocked five yards from the hole. And the hole was to his side! He got blocked so badly Roquan couldn't get around him in time. It was sickening. At this point, I would start anyone over him. Tashaun Gipson doesn't want to tackle anyone either. He could have prevented that long running TD yesterday by hitting the back as he was cutting to the pylon. He instead, put the brakes on and chased him to the end zone. (Huge pussy) All said, Chuck Pagano needs to go. Where are the blitzes? I miss Roquan going up the middle on that bullet blitz. What about the corner blitz? I pray Fangio gets fired and we can hire him back. He taught assignment discipline and toughness like Pagano has never done. This defense has been neutered and Pagano is to blame. Now, is that the angriest 3-0 rant ever, lol!? It's only because I'm seeing that this team has a chance to make a run, if the defense returns to 2018.
