  1. Something in Caleb's corner; the Bears are the only team in the NFL to score 21+ PPG.
  2. It definitely is. I wrote validation protocols in a FDA regulated environment, so I can get pretty whacky. What about a Taser to the groin upon the thought of impropriety?...🤪
  3. The only thing that would help is making the refs pass a polygraph before taking the field.
  4. That was for play balls. Then they had K balls for kicking. Kickers said it was like kicking a brick.
  5. I don't like the onside kick, as it removed the running start. The reason you are seeing monster field goals is due to the NFL letting teams break in the kicking balls.
  6. Agreed on offense. Who knows on D...
  7. My buddy had a testicle hit up into his pelvic cavity. They had to pop it out through his colon...🤯
  8. Something I forgot to say on the week 6 thread. Johnson not only replaced Braxton Jones, he sent a loud and clear message to Darnell Wright by doing so. (And anyone else on the team, for that matter) We don't care. We will replace you with a UDFA if you don't do your job. We don't Fn care and I love it.
  9. I watched the replay several times and it looked like he shot the gap, which is legal. It's pretty gray area that I don't fully understand. I'm gonna dig into it. Here it is. In the NFL, a long snapper is considered a "defenseless player" during field goals and extra points and cannot be contacted in the head or neck area while his head is down. The defensive team also has specific formation restrictions to protect the snapper. However, unlike college football, the NFL does not provide a mandatory time delay before the long snapper can be engaged.
  10. Last night wasn't a perfect game, but it has me feeling it was the perfect win for the moment. A prime time victory on the road, Williams over Daniels, our D stopped their #1 ranked rushing attack, we ran the ball, came from behind, have the tie breaker and exercised the demons of the fail Mary. Great win!
  11. I've seen the leverage rule, but don't believe there is a one second rule for protecting the center. If Payne did not gain height, it is not eligible for leverage to be called.
  12. I was looking into the JJ situation and found an interview he did on The Score. He stated that he initially tore his adductor muscle doing coverage drills with wide receivers a week before training camp. After rehabbing, he felt strong enough to play, even though he had soreness in the area. IMO-that's on the Bears. He said he was not pressured to play, but felt a personal sense of urgency. Soft tissue injuries are still at high risk of reinjure if you are sore. (Especially, the tiny adductor muscle in the groin. Been there!). He said the current injury is new, but similar. Since his surgery, he's stated that the procedure was successful and expects a full recovery. He gave no timeline for return, be we may see him mid to late December.
  13. After the third bad call against the defense, we had a later defensive stop and I asked my wife where the flag was, then they threw it. It seemed so scripted. Aikman was biting his tongue...
  14. I don't he'll provide better individual play. What I do think is that he'll be a better help player. Both in helping and receiving help. Braxton made too many mentally lazy technique mistakes. In a nutshell, continuity is more important than talent...
  15. Yes. Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Kane Brown, Michael Buble, John Legend, Garth Brooks...
  16. The wife and I saw Creed this summer and it was fantastic. Lots of hits and sing alongs. They would have been a great choice. My 19 year old says they are hot right now. Zac Brown Band would be great as well. They play everything at their shows.
  17. I've heard his music. It sounds good. I'd still love to understand it. I don't think I should have to learn Spanish, in an English speaking nation, to discern it.
  18. It doesn't make sense from a marketing perspective, as I don't see American football ever taking market away from futbol or baseball in Latin nations. 80 percent of the world watching the Superbowl are English speaking. We have plenty of marketable artists that sing the language.
  19. That would be awesome but doubt it. Schedule too tough. Also, don't think it ever happened...
  20. It's crazy to think it has us drafting 16th while our power ranking has us at 21. Draft pick should represent at 13.
  21. Mine is a dominant pass rusher. You can help an OT with play calling and scheme. Pass rushers are a problem.
  22. At the Bears Raiders game Earth Wind and Fire performed and it was awesome...
  23. I'm not here to start anything, but simply don't understand the choosing of this artist for the Superbowl. He doesn't sing in English. I've been blasted on other platforms for being racist, old and out of touch. To me, it's the demographic. I'm being told the demographic is not what I believe it is. I don't get it..
