  1. You can see it in the summer league, whatever it is called. They adapted it off of their rules.
  2. I really believe it would be a huge distraction for the Bears. Can you imagine the deception that would occur in Halas Hall? "We're going to show the public what they want to see, instead of authentic coaching and playing."(Fake quote) This has McCaskey nightmare written all over it.
  3. I'm sure the second half of the season will be much better than the first part. There should be growing pains for the rookie QB.
  4. Something I heard from Waddle today was an interview with Flus where he talked about having one on one time with Caleb. He spoke highly of Caleb's football IQ and football character. Said they spent an hour twenty minutes by themselves before everyone met for dinner. Lastly, Flus Said they gave Caleb a section of the playbook and that they will discuss what he learned when he dies his team visit, at which point they will give him another section. Unless this is the biggest smokescreen in the history of sports, we are taking Caleb.
  5. If someone pisses me off, it's usually too late...πŸ€ͺ
  6. This is not a fact. And that has something to do with you pushing your narrative. Nobody wins peddling opinion as fact. While I agree that Caleb is probably the guy. There's no need to present as fact.
  7. Here's the quote: And now the coach is channeling the praise towards McCarthy's pro potential, saying he's the best quarterback in a strong QB class because McCarthy "plays quarterback the best" of the group. You misquoted to help your argument. The reason you are wearing us out, is that you relentlessly have to win your argument. Especially the times it's over some minute detail that no-one cares about. Lastly, when someone gets chippy, please don't take it so personally. I've been towel slapped by many on this illustrious board and only once taken something as a personal attack. R-E-L-A-X. We are all bros here...
  8. The article stated that Harbaugh said McCarthy is the best QB in this draft, yet you say that folks don't understand. Harbaugh told everyone at the combine that had ears, that JJ was the guy. It seems to me that you are the one that doesn't get it. Why do you have to try to dominate every thread? At the end of everything, being right is not what is important. Wouldn't you rather talk smack with a group of Bears brothers without wearing everyone's ass out? McCarthy is good enough to be considered at any pick. It depends on the situation. We all know, that all information can also be disinformation...
  9. I wanna know how they take a big shit. Do they grunt and whine when it doesn't come out right. Or do they just man up and force it out. Do they spackle the back of the toilet bowl like an untrained neanderthal? I also want to know if they are wasteful with the toilet paper. You know it ain't clean unless you see blood. We definitely can't draft a guy if he uses hand sanitizer instead of a soap and water washing. All told, they must take the perfect shit to be a Bear QB. Maybe that's why quarterbacks come here to die...
  10. Do you see greatness in any of the prospects? I see glimpses from all of them.
  11. I agree with everyone is saying about LOT and EDGE. What has Veach done? That may narrow us down to Poles. My guess is EDGE.
  12. I like a little cockiness in my QB, but there has to be a balance. For starters, it's a different era, with players having there own minds. In the 70's through 2K, players were more coach centric to get leadership. Now, it's kinda lead from within, with the me me factor. In this era, the QB has to be in lockstep with coach. Otherwise, the team could quickly implode. Jimmy Mac would have to tone it down in this NFL. Namath OTOH would be just fine, wearing his pantyhose and fur coats, while guaranteeing victory.
  13. Who knows really. Bowers is a difference maker though. We all did talk about the final four teams having stud move TE's and centers.
  14. That was filthy...πŸ’ͺ
  15. Seriously, y'all watch Harbaugh on an interview. He's chill as all get out in person.
  16. I can't believe we are discussing mannerisms of the HC. Flus has said or done nothing to show he doesn't command respect. I've had demonstrative leaders and quiet leaders. What makes a leader a good leader is someone that understands the objective. Knowing how to accomplish the objective. Making the proper decisions to achieve the objective. Wishy washy doesn't work. None of us knows what happens at Halas Hall and from the looks of it, we never will. I do know that Pat McAfee said that Flus and his leadership style was loved and missed in Indy. Time will tell, but I think Flus gives respect on public and commands respect in private. Poles and Flus have earned my trust.

    What's next?

If I had a vote, it would be EDGE. The defense is one piece away, while the offense could actually be complete if the center position holds up. What the offense lacks is quality depth.
  18. It's all beyond me. The one thing I know, is that our new QB's skill has to be processing. Without that, it's back to square one. I really like where Poles came from, because he learned from the absolute best.
  19. Hugging is the new handshake...
  20. That may be the case, but I didn't see anything on his pro day or interviews to indicate that. What I see in Caleb is a kid that is tired of answering the same questions over and over. He also looks like he's trying to say all the perfect words and it doesn't come naturally. Looking back at every interview with Patrick Mahomes, he just speaks fast and honestly. No uhms, lip biting and stammering. Same with Josh Allen, Lamar, Tua, Baker, etc. Hopefully, he grows out of it. Watch an interview with Drake Maye. That dude knows who he is without thinking about it. So much more likeable to me.
  21. The best I've been able to do in mock drafts is to trade the 9 pick a couple of times. It took me to around 20, but was able to pick up two ends and a 3rd. I was able to draft EDGE, WR, WR and OG. I'm still praying for a miracle trade, but if Williams is the guy to walk on water, maybe it's already answered.
  22. x3. Hiring requirements are usually a piss test in normal life. The least a player could do is provide proof of health. The NFL could also manage the release of info only to those that require it.
