  1. I see you...🥸
  2. There's been gaining traction that MHJ is not as twitchy as some believe. If you look at post combine rankings, it shows Malik Nabors as the top receiver. Maybe his camp is saying hold tight for now. Or it's just they simply know he's going to be the first taken and have no reason to work out.
  3. We've seen it day to day and year to year. The media is like the frog waiting to catch the next fly. It seems like no matter what channel you watch or starting you time into, the narrative is the same. They are irresponsibly reporting everything from politics to religion to racial matters every damn day. Why should it be so different when hearing about it Bears? The media, nation wide, has gone from "what the hell did the Bears do to Justin Fields? To, my God, I can't wait for the Caleb Williams era"! I watched ESPN , rolled my eyes and turned the channel. Watched GMFB and ditto. Our my headphones on to ride the stationary bike, ditto! I'm sick of it. That's my rant of the day.
  4. I agree. It was an unprofessional, dick move. Totally classless and uninformed...
  5. You can tell Rodgers is his idol by the way he releases the ball. Good breakdown

    What's next?

I look at it like we told the whole world we are drafting a QB, which makes the pick more valuable. Suitors know that they are really going to have to pony up if they want Caleb. And when we really look at it, how much better is he really? If he's in a league of his own, the point is moot, cause you didn't trade that. If Poles sees it at close and someone calls strongly, we make bank on picks.

Elway did the same thing with the Colts. The reasons for both demands were valid. When Bob Irsay owned the Colts, they were known as a terrible organization. The owner of the chargers had been terrible for a long time as well. A Williams demand wouldn't be close. This team is greatly improved, on paper, and we should've won ten games last year.
  8. I'll honestly be good with Williams, Maye, Daniels, McCarthy or Penix. We're in a good spot...

    What's next?

Agreed, on the gifted part. And I truly believe the kid loves football. I just hope he's not the dubs he's being portrayed to be.

It was the loudest roar of the day. Milton wasn't great on the timing throws, but the bazooka was real. He is the equivalent of the guy that could jump out of the pool. Go back and look at the video of Maye hitting the crossbar of the goal from 80 yards. That has to theoretically travel 85-90 yards. He can also throw with touch and left handed.
  11. The pick is probably Williams, if everything comes out clean.(And I love his tape) Preference is obviously Maye with a trade down.(Just an uneducated feeling)

    What's next?

Maye has the most elite arm in this class. (Josh Allen Jr). He threw a 45 yard TD jumping backwards to get it off. . His weakness is like most gifted guys, lazy footwork.

    What's next?

Just for fun... We all need to remember Joe Namath had the same spirit...
  14. Agreed on the sophomore tackles.
  15. We don't blame Justin, but his performances in the 4th quarter weren't great. Sometimes a defense needs the offense to squeeze out one first down. Or the kicker to do his damn job. And the offensive coordinator to not call a tush push with Darnell Mooney as the pusher or not call the 700th bubble screen of the season. Correctly viewed, Justin was not the cause of those losses, but he was absolutely partially to blame.
  16. Nah, if Bagent would've went 3-1 instead of 2-2, Justin woulda been traded at the deadline during the season.

    What's next?

For starters, I think Poles should draft for next year, due to us still being on the rise. After QB, I believe EDGE is the most important for team building. Winning teams generally need to have three guys that can get to the quarterback. If Alt is available at 9 and our EDGE guy is gone, I take him. Top ten picks absolutely need to be blue chip prospects at pillar positions. If the guy we like is there, we should get him. At nine, trade opportunities are likely going to be there. If there are multiple prospects remaining and Poles believes he can trade back and get one, it's a no brainer.(Only blue chippers though). If he can finagle the blue chippers out of the first, we can crown him...

    What's next?

I've been pimping Maye for months. I truly believe he is a bears QB. Big, strong, good family, competitive, and cocky all Bear traits. I like the extra picks of trading the one and getting the one I like. If Williams is the guy, I trust Poles over any opinion I may have. There is just something about Maye I can't fully explain. He's my guy...
  19. Exactly! When we tell the world we're drafting a QB, they want it more.
  20. Kenny Pickett went somewhere where he won't start unless there is injury. Justin has a chance, out of the gate, with a team that has offensive talent.
  21. The team/family has to agree to it, so it may never happen. If there's money to be made they may do it...
  22. This move is a drop in the bucket. Calm down gents. Better things are coming. We have become high on possibility. Reality is, we are on the rise! Plus, this move put extra sizzle on the number one...
