  1. Didn't start Killa. I never talked shit on any of the dumb ass mock drafts you posted. BTW, it's not at nine. I traded out. You must not read well...
  2. Most draft analyst have him moving inside.
  3. It depends on the offense you are running. Sean Peyton values guards over tackles for inside out schemes. If our system dictates better inside blocking, you can't get better than Fuaga.
  4. We are one player from completing the D, EDGE. We are one player from completing the O, center. Adding Fuaga brings a talent infusion and huge depth. A WR doesn't complete anything, but it's definitely a building block to keep our QB stocked with talent. I also drafted Tez Walker and Cade Stover for young weapons. I'm all for WR at the right time. For me, it's finish the trenches first, then WR. Fat boy dream...
  5. Moving Fuaga to guard. Could imagine him next to Wright? Plus, I don't trust Davis or Jenkins to give a full season.
  6. You ask. I deliver!
  7. Thayer had an interesting take on what he wants. He wants Alt, saying he's a can't miss lockdown left tackle. He mentioned that teams would line up to trade for Braxton. There is value in a starting left tackle with only two years in the NFL.
  8. Definitely. Take a look at Devontez Walker and Xavier Leggette. They are both sub 4.4. Walker is fluid and can really fly. Leggette is a monster. Both looked really good at the combine.
  9. QB - Caleb is the most ready and I like him. Drake Maye is my highest upside guy. WR - guys we can get that I like are Xavier Leggette and Devontez Walker. OL - Graham Barton has replaced JPJ as my IOL stud. JPJ has a concussion history. TE - Brock fn Bowers = stud DE - Turner and Latu. Turner is the opposite of Sweat, so I like the diversity. Latu has the tools, but the neck fusion has people concerned. (Danielle Hunter is a success with the same surgery)
  10. I don't think any of the experts made reference to his cannon of an arm. They were praising his anticipation, accuracy, processing and leadership. I'm also a fan of the truckload of picks we got. It probably ruined Carolina for the next ten years. BTW, I picked Stroud over Young "on the record", so you are not alone.
  11. Young faced the same bad circumstance Justin did. Maybe worse. I truly believe franchises can ruin players. I firmly believe we would have ruined Mahomes with our atrocious OL. Williams will have the full benefit of a solid foundation to start his career. Just like Mahomes. All told, Young has a chance, but the odds are now stacked against him.
  12. I wouldn't go that far. There have been too many QBs that looked like they were going to be the next great, only to prove us all wrong. The scouting for Fields was ridiculously accurate and he couldn't fix it soon enough. The scouting on Caleb looks just as accurate, with him having less to overcome. So, I do get your point, however argumentative it may be.
  13. Dexter was a guy I slated as "country strong" last year. With a year of NFL training, he should be a beast. It doesn't hurt that he was on the rise the sending half of the season. Ultimately, I haven't envisioned him as a 3tech. He will be a terminator at 1tech once his body matures...
  14. That's overstating the obvious... 🐐
  15. Great write up PHX. Seriously, wow! Caleb is unabashedly himself. That in itself is endearing to me. I recall a story where Larry Bird hit a game winning three pointer while KC Jones was calling a timeout. In the huddle, KC was drawing up a play and Bird said, "just get me ball and I'm hitting it from the same spot." Then, went out and told the defense what he was going to do and did it. That's supreme confidence. If that's what Caleb has, don't F with it.
  16. That's exactly what I was eluding to...
  17. If we were to trade the one, I'm taking Maye. Best upside of ANY player in the draft. His floor isn't there yet though. We're drafting for next year, so he would have a year to take his lumps.
  18. As Larry Bird said, "if ifs was fifths, we'd all be drunks."
  19. I wouldn't be mad at all. I like five QBs in this draft. So, if extra picks come with a trade down, it could be better. Caleb seems to be the lock though.
  20. I'm more and more convincing myself that Poles will trade the nine. There are many similar choices, talent wise, at 10-20. An extra second or third could outweigh standing pat.
  21. On looking at our current roster, who are the blue chip players? Here's my list.... Wright, Jenkins, Kmet, Moore, Allen, Williams, Sweat, Dexter, Stevenson, Johnson, Gordon and Brisker. I'm counting twelve. Polian says 14. We are getting close. If we hit at nine, it's 13 possibly. Maybe 14 will develop under the radar. IMO, 13 is a shock. Very cool future for our team...
  22. Yeah, he's bendy. Everyone's worried about his neck fusion. Danielle Hunter had the same
  23. I'm with you. Drafting a 3 tech tells me that Pickens and Dexter aren't it. Dexter did outplay Carter the second half of the season. We really need to see where his development goes, as year two should provide good growth in production.
