Yeah, Bain will be top 10 easy. We could always trade up.
  2. You don't have to be in the huddle to know what the receiver was supposed to do. The safety is over the top so you flatten the route. It doesn't take HOF legends to know that. Let alone the jogging. C'mon Skip! 😁

Thuney in a pinch, but you don't want to leave him there, due him being dominant at guard. Benedet can fill in next year as he gets stronger. BJ was on record wanting Thuney at LT this week because of the opponent matchup. Jared Verse's strength is a great bull rush and they wanted that neutralized.
  4. Uh yeah, we can and should! He's a serial quitter. He showed his complete character last season when he walked off the field as Caleb was still scrambling for his life. He's loafed his last route here, as far as I'm concerned.
  5. Here's a breakdown. Also, I'll show how Caleb missed a game winning shot on the same play. Lessons learned the hard way... https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTrXdQnDraW/?igsh=MWJkd243bmR3bzNrbA==

He wasn't great in coverage, but was the top tackler. Our stud safety is already on the team. It's Tremaine "can't fill the hole" Edmunds. He finishes every play from the secondary. The wife even notices now.
  7. No. It was pure lack of effort and awareness. He didn't think the play was coming to him, so he took it off. We've seen that many times from DJ. Good riddance to him.
  8. Have I stated how much I hate Tremaine Edmunds? Instead of shedding blocks, he tries to give purple nurples.
  9. Pritzker has actually been the main holdup. The Chicago mayor has been desperate to help. Under Pritzkers leadership the Bears were told nothing would be considered in 2026. Both of them are bloviating grandstanders though. Windy City to the core.
  10. Yes. Not only do you get the lake effect, you get the surrounding area. No more egress problems. The stadium can be built any way they want. Tailgating will be off the chain. The surrounding blocks will be 100% entertainment based. The game experience will become a weekend long event. Nobody does this stuff better than the Hoosier State!
  11. Why do you say coin flip? They repair patellar tendons all the time.
  12. Indiana has offered to purchase the land and build the stadium to the Bear's specifications. The Bears take years to pay off the stadium, then own it in full. While the Bears pay for the stadium, they pay no taxes. Illinois can't compete...
  13. Agreed. NW Indiana is actually close than Arlington. You can see downtown from the proposed location. Indiana will develop all around it too. (With Chicago money). I'll buy season tickets if they build here.
  14. Good stuff AZ54. Prayers continue for your wife. On the temp related note, it's true. Extreme cold and heat have an adverse effect. Miami has an advantage in the heat and they capitalize on it. The visitors sit in the sun while they sit in the shade. (Stadium built that way). I remember going to Cabo and Puerto Rico and taking the entire vacation to get acclimated to the heat. My buddy came up from Missouri over Thanksgiving and was freezing while I was in shorts and t shirt and we're both the same size. Games like this don't affect the hitters as much as it does the hittees. After that adrenaline kicks in to help. All told, I'm guessing 10% advantage...
  15. I'm the meantime Arlington Heights has gone from overly demanding to begging... https://abc7chicago.com/post/arlington-heights-officials-make-push-keep-chicago-bears-illinois-teams-looks-build-stadium/18414036/?fbclid=IwdGRzaAPXX99jbGNrA9dfkWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHivqDP75iHNXJXZI11VcRjkHCwXSEplnQ2U49uV6A-T4bEu10vs09T6jIaGL_aem_pEzyNpjehP_xP9Jd9DZrtA
  16. Random news from the homeland. We are already ahead of Illinois to help with the new stadium...
  17. I don't this guy's credentials, but he is damn good. Very impressive stuff...
  18. Who caught the Minnesota Miracle?
  19. Caleb is one of one, ever. I can say this because the 4th and 8 pass to the left was the first time I've ever seen a throw like that. (Not even Mahommes). While Caleb is inaccurate and doesn't see the open guy too much, he has that Reggie Miller (unconscious) mode. Thanks Stinger. It drives me nuts. Do I like other QBs better? Yes, but only three. Young QBs, only one. Would I trade him for that guy? He'll no. Caleb is a part of us now! He's like Tin Cup, as in he may give us the greatest thing we've ever seen, but to fall short. In this chapter of my life, I love it.

  21. Rome, Braxton, Kyler, Jahdae and Ozzy were full participants today. Burden is not even on the injury report. CJGJ dnp and will likely be out with concussion.
  22. Same here. I bet a parlay every week and have won more than I should. Plus, I have a big money fantasy football league that I was fortunate to have won. We've done that league for for 27 years. Same guys. We're blessed to have lasted that long.
  23. I bet games every week. If anyone looks at Monday and Tuesday they can see the Bears were -1 to -1.5 via Draft Kings and MGM. It's not worth the useless dialog...
