  1. He's gotta stay a backup or go. If GB wanted him, they would've kept him, especially after losing their starting center to the Chargers. I don't want anyone's backups starting for this team unless there is a very reasonable explanation for it.
  2. There's always that possibility, but from what I'm seeing Kincaid is going top 20. Every team is looking for that move TE that can shake loose in unison with the QB and the pocket shifting. KMET is the prototypical inline TE and not suited for that role. Kincaid's initial scouting report says he's a more agile Zach Ertz.
  3. Rumor, in my neck of the woods, is that the Colts are all in to draft a QB. Irsay is done with the retread route after Brissette, Rivers, Wentz and Ryan got him nothing. My new personal pipe dream is that we trade back a minimum of two times for extra picks. Before that, I want two new FA OL and at least one DT. That way the draft can give us BPA. With BPA, I'm not afraid to draft Dalton Kincaid with my first. I'm also not afraid to draft a stud RB with second. Since the WR position looks kind of weak, we gain explosives in other ways. Lastly, EDGE and OC look deep. Gimme, gimme, gimme...
  4. We gotta see if Leatherwood can play LG. If so, Whitehair is a trade or cap cut. Also, the more I think of it, Eddie Jackson should be traded. If not, he should be a post June 1 cut. He's not that high end difference maker and saves us 14 million. Gotta get the trenches built with players on the rise.
  5. Bucky Brooks has Kincaid as his seventh best player in the draft. He is exactly what we need at the other TE position. Greg Olsen was talking about Kmet as a potentially great inline TE, but cautioned his ability to create separation and/or beat any coverage of the line of scrimmage, due to lack of twitch.
  6. I'm very interested in Musgrave. He would be a nice compliment to Kmet and is also a fiery competitor. Since the WR outings aren't that great this year, we can find more explosive plays from this and more dynamic running backs.
  7. Crazy stuff. Have we ever had that monetary commitment to OL? Plus, our DL and WR's aren't event close.
  8. Imagine the hole Denver is in now. Gave up good players and picks for Wilson. Then gave him a monster contract. Then give up picks for Peyton. They are hurting if he isn't a miracle worker.
  9. They actually wanted Harbaugh first. Heard that on Greeney today. Also heard Ryans didn't want anything to do with Wilson.
  10. Just like Alonzo Spellman
  11. I agree. Hopefully I didn't portray it otherwise.
  12. Just wondering why the number is much lower than previously mentioned. Is it without dead cap put something?
  13. I'm not sold on Carter either, but we can't look on our failed history of drafting and put the Cubs jinx on Poles. Let's give him that fresh Theo juju. I don't want any bears curses, ever. If we draft 8th, it's by choice and skill of evaluating talent. I would love to draft 8th. That would mean we traded multiple times and are focused on building a rock solid foundation.
  14. Maybe that's how we hook him? There's also the possibility that Payne and Allen can play the 3 tech at the same time or alternate.
  15. Payne is not the 3T. Jonathan Allen is.
  16. Warren Sapp has a podcast and has placed his neck on the chopping block, stating "Justin Fields will be traded". He doubled down and said, "you heard it here first". He claims to have first hand knowledge. He's an idiot and is the last person I'd listen to.
  17. Like the if/then process analogy. It very hard to know what to do. What would we rather have, one future HOF or three twelve year starters? I can't comprehend the math of it all.
  18. My preference is to trade down and stay in the top 10. Pipe dream is to trade down 3 times and draft 8th, all while netting multiple picks and a 2024 first.
  19. What I meant was, you ignored the previous 3 years for both players, in which Buckner was superior. Payne in a contract year had his best year, by far. Buckner got overpaid because of the trade. Different circumstance for Payne, as he's seeking a raise pic of his rookie deal. It's crazy to think that we can actually have both. They would actually mesh well as their skillsets would compliment each other, technique wise. I'll take either, but would love both.
  20. It's just weird to me. Second round picks usually give interviews on how great things are and blessed they are to have this opportunity. Unhappiness upon unhappiness and failure to be in shape is just abnormal if it's not a mental health issue.
  21. You are going against the previous 3 years of stats, in which Payne has a high of 4.5 sacks, with Buckner outpacing every other year.
  22. A lot of happiness/unhappiness with him. The self reflecting and positive attitude is fantastic, but I would really like to see him check out his mental health.
