  1. I think you're right. And what has Iglesis shown that Davis hasn't? If Iglesias was hot stuff he'd have illustrated it.
  2. Read on theTrib that Tice prefers bigger guys and that Beekman was undersized.
  3. Wow, didn't see that coming. I guesss the new OL guy they picked up can be our back up to Kruetz.
  4. Ageed. I'm not optimistic at this point. My only hope is that Martz and Tice have been sandbagging it and we will get a nice surprise from the O when the season starts. The D, and the inabiity to stop anyone on third down scares the beejesus out of me.
  5. Thanks for another option.
  6. Wow, thanks DBDB. I tried to get the game yesterday, but couldn't even get the radio broadcast, they don't stream outside the U.S. now. So I'd be open to anything you could send my way.
  7. I know we go through this every season, but I don't have a link to get the games streaming live. Can anybody help me out with some suggestions?
  8. Halleleuja! We really got the whami last season. If we can stay healthy we will have a good shot at the division, IMdO.
  9. Read that this ornng and coudn't agree more about Butkus, Payton and Sayers. And his point about beds and shoes was a nugget for life.
  10. Wolfe's ST play may save him. Be nice to see if Martz can manage to get some use out of him.
  11. I read that he had a solid season with BYU. What did we give up to draft him? How does he fit into the RB mix going into camp?
  12. I plan to watch the World Cup to help span the time till TC starts. Go CHILE!! And Go USA!!! For what its worth!
  13. Who could forget! LOL I too am optomistic, but cautiously so. I'm sipping kool aide, but slowly.
  14. Preaching to the chior. If Tice can't get production from the guys he is given then they all are going to be looking for work. And JA and Lovie are really counting on very late round picks and NDFAs for OL improvement/depth. What successful team has ever done this with the OL?
  15. There is a very good reaason why "TO AND Randy Moss could have been had at one time". They are not team friendly players, but guys who demand all the attention, of teammates, coaches, fans, media and anyone else. There is enough to worry about to get the team to lay as a unit; adding either one of those two wouldnot get us over the hump, just cause more disruption and take focus away from winning as a team. Other teams don't want them cause they are not worth the price. . .and I'm not talking about money. So, let TO visit Chicago, but stay out of Halas Hall. please.
  16. Just read Don Pompei on the Trib site--It's not a big deal! I agree, but yeah, not much else going on. Maybe we can focus o mini camp now.
  17. Terra, I believe that Sayers is a successful busiessman and invloved with the community in Chicago ad elsewhere. He has moved on, as the article i the Trib points out. As Butkus says, they love the Bears and want the team to succede, like all of us who post here.
  18. Url, what the hell are you doing calling out Sayers? Yes, the team went 1-13, but that wasn't Sayers' fault. When you become a Hall of Famer then you can take some pot shots. It would be nice to see you play with a little fire too, while we're at it. Don't get me wrong, you are a good player, but I don't think you are "great." Get back on the filed and let your game do the talking, please.
  19. And winter is starting down here--double whammy! Still, I keep my eye one the board and try to read the Chitown rags online for ANY news.
  20. Congrats! New child, new career, boy to be young again! Good luck to you and your family. Raise 'em right and don't let them ever root for the Packers!
  21. Connor, I too have a radio program here on the university radio, the ony one n English. I interview folks and play some music and generally have fun. Perhaps we could work out a phone interview? Email me at my work: mark.perry@usach.cl.
  22. Who is your most hated Bears player of all time? Cedric Benson--What a whinny crybaby! Who is your most loved Bears player of all time? 100% Sweetness. Yeah, he's the personification of a football player and a gentleman.
  23. Pinned section? What? Huh? Oh, yeah. Oh, and thanks for pointing that out. I hate you Madlith!
  24. Just read it a PFT. Jamar Williams traded to Panthers to bring Harris back. Interesting.
