Hate to sound like Lovie, and you know he'll be avoiding all other discussion by saying this, but we won and are 4-1, at the top of the division. Now, we need to get Cutler back, keep Hanie at no. 2 and build on the running game. Win the games against teams that suck, like Seattle next week, and keep building.

Agree on the looks of Jay on the sideline. I remember thinking that he looked like he was in a different world--a blank kind of look on his face. Could be that he was already concussed. And I hope that he comes back with no lingering effects, for his sake as much as the teams.

I give Cutler credit for continuing to come out on the field in the first half. It was obvious to everyone watching what the Giants D was going to, and could, do. Cutler didn't even have enough time to ground the ball on several of those sacks. The OL and adjustment by the coaches (lack of, in this case) was appalling. Embarassing to watch.

Agree. You would think that, being on the sideline and seeing the havoc up-close and personal, Martz would have at least inserted some plays to spread the punishment around. Maybe a few hand-offs? Or screens, but instead there were sacks on nearly every play there for a while.

I too hate the d scheme. The Puckers must have had the ball forever on O. And Gruden, or Jaws, commented several times that that is the object of Lovie's D: play the percentages, eventually the drive will stall, there will be a penalty and then the D gets off. Hate to watch it and long for an aggressive attacking D. But not with Lovie.

I think Gruden said that a holding penalty is equal to a sack. Now, if wwe coud just get some pressure from the rest of the line.

He's not even a valued sub now. Might as well give someone with promise the roster spot.

Agreed about MNF. I get to watch, but rarely have I come away satisfied with the team's performance. Hope Martz and company can give me a ne appreciation for the time slot.

Harris seems to have a soft skin. Criticism backfires with him. Maybe its time to get Harrison back in the mix.

I hate it! We all know that he beat the coverage, got the ball and then a weird rule lucks us a win. This is gonna be a long, sack-filled season.
