  1. You make a logical arguement, based on watching thegame from a ddistance. What I understand from reading about Martz's system is that the QB through in anticipation, not reacting to the WR's move. What I saw was Knox stopping on that INT. He is supposed to know that you try to disrupt the INT. but knox stopped and Cutller threw to the spot. Anyway you look at it, it still sucks and makes me sick that this team is become a laughingstock for the league. We aren't going to make the playoffs. this is such a crappy way to play out the season and I hope they get rid of the whole coaching staff. Lovie clearly has no clue as to whaat to do and Martz is crazy.

    Bye Week

I will too. BUT, I'm gonna try to ovoidwatching the O and just watch when the D is on the field. I know I will see more of the game that way and also see our best shots at scoring.
  3. Yep, bet you're right. they'll say the need consistancy and try to fidsome help for the OL. This is going to get worse ong before it gets better.
  4. Our O is ggoing to get alot of opponents D payers in the Pro Bowl. Crap!
  5. But the point of the article was that the play call was a run to Olsen's side, leaving him isolated with a bigger DE, clearly a mismatch favoring the D. Why would Martz call that?!
  6. When I read that story I peuked in my Kool Aide. Martz is supposed to be the guru of mismatches, so what gives? Are these games Martz's brain farts?
  7. This is such a strange season. Every game now is scary. Will we have an OL this game? Will Cutler revert to ints? Will Martz have his head up his butt? How ong wi the D have to be on the field "bending" then snapping? Crap, this is not much fun! To quote someone "Just win, baby!"
  8. Bend-don't-break crap. Idea is to let the other guys move and depend on THEM making some kind of mistake. that's when we get a stop or a turn-over. But it just ain't happenin' an I too hate this style of D. We've got enough studs on D to be more agressive.
  9. How?! Forte has 11 yards rushing! Time for the whole team to step up.
  10. We need a whole new OL. I can just imagine all theboos from the fans at the stadium. Embarassing, again.
  11. What has happened to Martz adjusting? Just downright frustrating.
  12. Next week Williams will be moved back to LT. This group is not going to amount to anything this season.
  13. Can't hurt and, perhaps, coud help. It'll be interesting to see how they play o Sunday.
  14. It's a good thing were were dominating them at that point, or I'd have thrown something at my computer. With our D playing the way it was, and Forte as well, why the hell didn't we run?
  15. Hate to sound like Lovie, and you know he'll be avoiding all other discussion by saying this, but we won and are 4-1, at the top of the division. Now, we need to get Cutler back, keep Hanie at no. 2 and build on the running game. Win the games against teams that suck, like Seattle next week, and keep building.
  16. Come on Madlith, Martz will turn Collins from a sows ear into a silk purse! But the real deal is gonna be the D led by Peppers getting some turnovers. Bears 17, Kitties 10.
  17. Agreed. The sky is not falling, yet. So, let's see if the D can win this one with a score or two.
  18. Wow! I like it, and especially when he says it won't happen again. I will go on record saying I hope we can keep Martz around for a while.
  19. Can you delete that post? Really unnecessary Terra.
  20. I'd give it to Hanie but you know they've awarded Collins the backup spot. And Yeah, sit Cutler and ring him back AFTER the bye.
  21. You know it. He looked helpless on Sunday night. Anderson getting cut is a big shock. More of the "accountable" Lovie coming out?
  22. Agree on the looks of Jay on the sideline. I remember thinking that he looked like he was in a different world--a blank kind of look on his face. Could be that he was already concussed. And I hope that he comes back with no lingering effects, for his sake as much as the teams.
  23. I give Cutler credit for continuing to come out on the field in the first half. It was obvious to everyone watching what the Giants D was going to, and could, do. Cutler didn't even have enough time to ground the ball on several of those sacks. The OL and adjustment by the coaches (lack of, in this case) was appalling. Embarassing to watch.
  24. Agree. You would think that, being on the sideline and seeing the havoc up-close and personal, Martz would have at least inserted some plays to spread the punishment around. Maybe a few hand-offs? Or screens, but instead there were sacks on nearly every play there for a while.
