i agree, and want cutler bad but there is a point or amount where you will give up too much and do more harm then good. one thing that is making me happy is that the Bears are at least going to make an offer for him and not just sit on the sidelines

I'd say there was 592 underthrown balls to 3 dropped TD's.....if Ditka were coach every pass thrown would have been a TD! haha really i have no idea

yeah but there were waaayyyy more underthrown balls coming off of Ortons hands then dropped td's. maybe with a healthy ankle we wouldnt see as many as we did. either way the amount of underthrown balls way out number dropped td's

would have to agree with about his arm: imagine sending hester on the fly route, instead of pass interfence due to under thrown balls(Orton) we would be seeing TD!!

I read on a earlier thread that people were wondering if JA was not doing anything in FA because it would set Lovie up for the chopping blocks and save his behind. Well i was thinking about that and thought could JA be trying to get Lovie Fired so he could bring in Gruden? Are JA and Gruden tight? Please don't freak out Im just throwing it out there because i am sooo bored with all the "no" action lately with Bears news.

I too think that if we are going WR in the first then Go and get him. We do really need a legit #1 and he would be! Who would be the best case 2nd round OT? Loadhardt?? Anyone else projected 2nd??? OLine has to be taken care of in the first 2 rounds

I would like that! Sanchez does come from the same program Cassell did. Problem for me is that we need help on the Oline bad. Maybe Loadhardt would be there in the 2nd. Then if we sign Holt the Offense would look pretty good. Only thing is i don't see JA doing any of this. I think he will play it very conservative and not spend big money, because that is what it is going to take to get something like this done. There is always 1 common thing among teams that win year in and year out and that's having a stud QB. I sure would not mind buying a Cutler Bears #6 uni!!!

Thank you lord!!! I never liked SC...I completely agree with NFO. Now Oline is the top need come draft. What's the best thing we do on offense??? Run the ball, so since we have done nothing to help our pass offense(WR, QB) what will help us the most through the drat at 18? IMO drafting a OT. In a perfect world we draft a OT that plays RT and is good at 18, then Williams turns out to be a legit LT. Now we have 2 solid Tackles blocking for ole 22. Im sure you guys remember the first 22 running behind all those great Olines for Dallas. By beefing up the oline it will help the running attack which should open up some air game. Also it will help protect Orton in his 5 and 7 step drops! Please Oher or Smith drop to us at 18!

I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe the Bears will ever be like the Pats in drafting or bringing in FA. One reason and it starts with the owner. Mcaskey sucks. I love the Bears and will always but after this free agency non activity im finding it harder and harder to want to spend money on the Bears knowing it goes into the Mcaskey pockets. I actually had an offer on PSL Seats through the Bears web site that was accepted and i cancelled cuz i have been so pissed off. Everyone on this board will agree that there are some glaring needs on this team, yet the Bears sign no one!? I hope they have some huge moves in the works behind the scene cuz this is unthinkable. I honestly think the Mcaskey's want to be a .500 team. It means we are good enough to give the fans hope. Maybe we make it to the playoff's if the ball bounces our way, and we are not bad enough to have a top 5 draft pick.

I'm happy! I was very high on him coming out of college. I hope he proves me right . Really i hope they actually use him and not just have him sit on the bench. Having a good RB combo would be huge. It made Kerry Collins look good

I think either way you look at the draft JA has to go OL in the first 3 rounds because Williams is a huge ? and personally i think SC is good back up at best. If Williams had played last year and was a lock then maybe i would feel different. I also believe you can never have too many good OLmen especially when you are a running team. If we sign SC then I would be happy with going 1.WR 2.OT 3.S. Unless one of the Big Time T's falls to us, but if Maclin dropped then i say take him and go T in the 2nd.
