  1. I took my whole company to the game, there was 18 of us. You dont want to know the price tag on that trip. Either way I met some fans that were great but for the most part they were complete jack-asses. I called out one tough guy to step outside and he shut up like the little bitch that he was. We had to leave early cuz the verbal attacks started to get out of hand. Bengals fight song is gay, even the the Bengal fans think so. "Who Dey" even more gay!!
  2. It is mind blowing that we do not roll Cutler out all f-ing day. It is down right wrong in my book. If a D is in man to man and we roll Cutler out it is going to be hard for defenders to keep up with Hester, Knox, Bennet and Olsen for that long of a play.
  3. I got a group of about 22 Bear fans going on Sunday!!! anyone else want to join???
  4. the more i think about it the more i like this trade, i think you brought up some great points. Last draft we traded out of the 2nd. If we would have done that again i would have blown a gasket. 2nd we need to get younger on the D side of the ball. If old Rod can get some production out of him this could be a huge impact deal!!
  5. OK i get it you really like Orton. Orton was not good in the pocket, he has never shown that he can move around the pocket week in and week out and make plays on the move. I would be willing to bet if you gave Rex Groosman the time Orton is getting in Denver he would look good or better then he did in Chicago. Im not saying Orton is or was a bum. What i will say is Orton was never going to get it done with the talent the Bears have in place on the Offensive side of the ball. I dont care what anyone says that is a fact. Orton has the tools to play well with a great Oline and great WR's. Do we have that in Chicago, sad to say but no. Our oline is a bit of a patch job and our WR's are getting better and better everyday but not as good as the Den WR's. I will say that Brandon Marshall is making Orton look pretty good too. If he keeps his nose clean this season and keeps playing the way he is he is going to get paid. With a WR like BM Orton can make some bad throws and he will come up with the catch, just the like the TD pass 2 days ago.
  6. you must not remember watching kyle orton play behind our oline. he is getting great protection if not perfect. the one time NE got pressure yesterday he threw a shit pass that should have been picked off but instead was tipped to Gafney. he also has 2 great WR's. did you see the TD to BM, a crappy thrown pass that Marshal made a great play on. the throw sucked, BM was running a fade and had to cut it short. hey im happy for Orton but to say "i told you so" is crazy. if orton played for the Bears this year i dont think he would have made it out of th GB game. i would say our record would be 1-3 with Orton. he is not good under pressure.
  7. dude i agree no luck in that win. joking around
  8. 37 and 45 are not gimme FG's. If the guy missed two 30yarders and under then i would say we were lucky.Let's say he makes one of them, we still win by 3. either way with Hester's TD we would have been tied if he made both. do we have problems to fix yes, but to say it was lucky IMO is not right. especially when your QB goes 21-27 with 275 and 3 TD's.
  9. how were we lucky, Even if they make both FG we end up tied, i would take our chances in OT against the Seahawks. Also the FG's missed were both 45yards + which are not gimme FG's. Now if Mare missed 2 25yarders then i would agree
  10. I agree with NFO, with the amount of pressure GB was bringing there is no way Orton makes it out of that game. Orton with this oline=0-3.
  11. I really dont understand why in the first qt the Bears attempt a long pass to Hester or Knox. Even if it doesnt connect it will still make the D worried about the threat. The Bears have 2 burners in Hester and Knox. I say the first 2nd and short line up Hester and Knox with Olsen at TE and send all three deep. Keep everyone else in for pass protection. You connect on a couple of deep balls that is going to open up Forte. We get Forte running and the wr's keep getting better our O cold look really good.
  12. I am a firm believer that the QB makes the WR more so then the other way around. For one example take Randy Moss, in Oakland he didnt do crap, but in MN and NE he is great. Now Oak had alot more wrong then just a QB while he was there, he still didnt perform well. Here is why i believe that the QB makes the WR. If the qb is getting the ball to the WR in the right timing and in the right spot then it makes the WR life alot easier. Say the WR is covered well or even double covered and the qb puts it in a spot only the WR can catch then it goes as a catch and not an incomplete pass. even more so in the NFL it is all about timing and if a wr gets one step on the coverage and the qb delievers it right on it can go for a big play. Also when you have a QB that can move around the pocket to buy more time and get passes off that other QB's(Orton and Grossman) couldnt we have more of a chance to make plays. One play that i wanted to point out from yesterday: The Kellen Davis TD pass. Cutler looks left and then right and with a quick release and rocket of a pass gets it in between 2 defenders. That is something we have not seen in a long time if ever. If that pass was not thrown that quickly or that hard that pass is picked off. After 2 games i am pretty excited with what i saw and the future!!! Go Bears
  13. Bach party in Vegas!! How did you survive? Vegas screws my whole world up for 2 weeks whenever i go!!
  14. And Trent "I suck at life" Dilfer, Tony"If i didnt have Peyton Manning i would never have won a SB" Dungy and Tim "i wish i was my brother " Hassellbeck 27-38 236 2 tds That is all we need week in and week out
  15. love the 97 yard td drive.....and sack to end the drive...way to go 96
  16. It would be great, i cant believe the reaction after 1 game. Especially with everyone saying how crappy our wr's are going into the season.
  17. Dude, you need to smoke something or pop a pill. It was one game and if we happen to lose to the Defending Superbowl champs the season is long from over. It sucks losing Urlacher but the D as a unit still played GB tough after Urlacher left the game. Let's give these young WR and Cutler some time to gel. All will be fine. Also we didnt give up 2 1st round picks just to win this year, it was done to have a solid qb for the next 10 years.
  18. If Brooks has anything left in the tank then there is no reason to not bring him. If another LB goes down I would rather have had him on the team for a couple of weeks then scramble to get him in. We r in week 2 and we have 1 starting lb done for the year and another with a sprained PCL. Off topic: Why cant Urlacher put a cast on his wrist and play??
  19. BEcause Orton never extended plays with his feet
  20. I think most fans are freaking out saying Cutler is this and that. Watch the game and really dissect what happened out there. Cutler started out bad, turned it around in the second half. Yes he threw 4 int. They were not all his fault and that is not an excuse a fact. Watch the film and count how many sacks GB would have had if Orton or Grossman where in there. I'll even go as far to say if Grossman was playing he would have thrown 13 int's(trying to make myself laugh, today has been depressing being a Bear fan and Notre Dame fan). Orton and his great pocket pressence would have been sacked 12 times(also trying to make myself feel better)
