  1. Here is a video that says we have 21 mil left in the cap. He's an analytical nerd, so I trust him more than some journalists I read.
  2. Yes , if Caleb checks the boxes, he.will take him but if there's any doubt trade backs. He just hasn't decided yet . The ( its a done deal the press pushes) is wrong AT THIS TIME.
  3. I'm not saying that isn't a good idea, I don't think Poles takes one this year. His feather in his cap in his first year was drafting a 5 th round pick that made good. Was ranked 18 th among OTs. This year his injury affected him early but played well at the end of the season. With all of our needs, I don't think he's redrafting positions quite yet.
  4. Tim Jenkins Dave Wannsted CJ Stroud Roger King Every player on the Bears Mike Florio ( he thinks they should keep for a bridge QB for rookie) Mark Sanchez
  5. You're right anything is possible, hell Fields could be our starting QB next year. Example, I guarantee you KC is not drafting a QB with their first pick. I just doubt it, I don't know it.
  6. If Poles doesn't choose him it's not going to be because of talent, it will be a work ethic issue, a selfish attitude something like that.
  7. This is the blueprint on how Poles operates business. Every year turns out the same.
  8. Just read a Yahoo report that stated we have 57 mil after the JJ deal. 15 mil in rookie pool, 7 mil in season money puts us at 35 mil when we start deducting contracts.
  9. Thanks for the compliment but not this time.
  10. I have to give you a compliment, you are Mary Poppins compared to some of these dwebs I'm arguing with on X. It's insane out here.
  11. They haven't made any franchise altering signings but we have gotten better. Bates is the starting OC until they add someone else.
  12. After they meet with Caleb, you may finally get your wish but all of this talk of trading Justin, no one wants him is all bu!lsh!t. Media generated stories.
  13. Poles hasn't decided yet. A far cry from he's being traded and their taking Caleb. Are you selling your Justin Field's bobble head?
  14. Goid point, plus our WR coach was his coach in LA and Everett played with him.
  15. That's the whole point. The media claims Justin is being traded, a done deal. You just answered the question. Because the Bears haven't decided yet. Justin would have been told if he was.
  16. I have proof he's not being traded. Im not saying they are or are not drafting a QB but if this is true, why haven't you heard from Justin? Poles said he was going to be transparent and do right by Justin, That means Justin knows. So why isn't he voicing his sadness of leaving. Talking about where he would like to go? Saying goodbye to Chicago? If he's leaving, he owes nothing to the bears about keeping this quiet. He's been told he's not being traded.. That's why you haven't heard from him.
  17. The video I seen did have everything included after the Everett sign. The writer did the dive , I just read the article. He had the adjusted rate at 44 mil before he started deducting. After JJ . He had a high rookie pool because of 2 top 10 picks and figured 7 mil for in season money. I'll try to link the video.
  18. Their will be many choices to get.
  19. Since I have a lot of free time,I look at a lot of content. I heard they actually might like Ordunze better than MHJ. His work ethic and love of football is outstanding. At 1 and 9 if we take a QB, unlikely we get any of the 3 top WRs . If that's the case we should be the first to take a edge player. There are 3 that should go top 15. Likely we move back enough to get a 2 nd round pick and still get one. With the second it will have to be a OC if available or the WR. I always look to Great Blue North Draft site for reference. In round 2 range available WRs should be Franklin-Leggette-McConley-Coleman-Wilson- So we add our WR and then our next pick us 75. Here probably be a C, or 3T? We honestly don't have enough picks to fill our needs which I think comes into play on whether we trade our first pick or not.
  20. We spent 22 mil in free agency so far that brings us to 22 mil. Our adjusted rate is figuring in rookie pool which is high because we have 2 first round picks. Also last year we had 7 mil for in season business. So 22 mil left. We need a WR, and DL,, if not 2. Another C. He may stay with Bates and draft a C which would need to be in the second round which we don't have. I see no high level edge or DT with only 22 mil left . More on the lines of D Walker and Justin Jones like last year. Chase Young- Clowney, and SJ Wonnum . Are the best of the rest IMO Still lots of WRs but he's not paying Mooney type money. I hope he can still get Curtis Samuel for around 3/ 20. Some DTs left but with the money we have to find a 2/11 type deal Odds are we can still get one above average player that's left. I hope Clowney can be got on a 1/7.5 mil deal. That would be the best get I would like Samuel - Clowney - Quintin Jefferson and hopefully a Connor Williams on a deal because he won't be playing for the first 6 weeks.
  21. If Waldron gets a HC job that means we were highly successful. If we win 10-11 games and make the playoffs, there is no scenario where Poles fires Flus. Even if Waldron was responsible for the boost. It would mean our defense had to be pretty good too. It this happens, Flus is more likely to get extended than be let go.
