Wow you're doing research on OCs, good job . Poles had some interesting things to say in his interview he mentioned both coaches and players need to straighten things out. I don't think he liked Getsys play calling in those short yardage situations. Definitely think we get a new OC, all the good ones will be getting HC jobs, we need to find an up and coming QB coach, or an offensive mind that has been forgotten along the way. Or a college coach looking for an NFL future. Plenty of choices coming our way. We are fortunate to have both Poles and Cunningham to figure it out with input from Warren. The more the better.

Today on twitter they were talking about Poles view of Fields. He is going to praise him and say he is picking up his 5th yr option just to build his value if he wants to trade him. Going into the draft. That would be a bad GM to let everyone know he wants to move on from Fields.

I played football and ripped my knee in my first yr in college, so that was that. What I was refering to was, people have supported him, that's on tape, but to assume there are a group that doesnt like him, that's a little over the skis. If you're winning its just a better atmosphere, losing never creats happiness. I think Justin is a hard worker and has a toughness about him that gets respect from fellow players. Im sure 100% of the roster doesnt like him but he doesnt seem to be a ego tripper, doubt he makes trouble in the locker room.

I check this website out freqently ( Ourlads) , its run by former NFL scouts. Their top 32 players has Daniels at 1) Williams at 7) and Maye at 23. Because of the value of QBs, those 3 will be top 10 picks, if not top 5. I like to look at former scouts sites for obvious reasons. Draft Countdown and GBND report are a few of the other ones. Could we take Daniels at #1?

People like to evaluiate by stats but if you go with your eyes, he play looks like Fields. He plays out of the box all the time, holds the ball a long time and fumbles a lot.

You can only go by what you know, several players have his back, Moore, Johnson, Kmet, Brisker ,all in interviews totally suported him .Those are team leaders. Hard to think a sect of the team doesnt support him and are just remaiming quiet. They have just went 4-2 in our last 6 games, that is an atmosphere of optimism, not chaos.

Greg has a podcast on BarRoom Network every week. I'm friends with him on twitter and we have talked several times. Smart guy. He's not a big Fields fan but understands that to change QBs , you need someone to standout to be taking another QB and getting rid of Fields. Just drafting a QB for sake of change isnt a god idea. ( those are his words)

I have changed my mind on Fields but that doesnt mean i ignore other poeples opinions.

My view is Flus will tell him that Poles gutted the roster in his first yr and took some wins away from for that. So when everyone throws the losing record as a reason to get rid of him, it doesnt fly. If he finishes with 7-8 wins, hard to argue we are not getting better. No way Poles ever thought we would make the playoffs in yr 2 of a rebuild.

Everyone is talking up Cleve, a team we dominated for 3 quarters in Cleveland. Everybody condemns us for having lost 3 games late in games, the fact were we in those games after bring 3-14 last yr, tells me , we are getting better. I view those games as a positive not a negative. It appears you and I are playing in the finals, is there anyway I can get pity from you? I dont belong here fininshing in 6th place. FFL
