Emanuel Hall Cut
Patterson is the same size as Burton, I think on some sets they line him up as a TE but actually he will be a WR in a TE spot. That is all Burton is anyway.

Trubisky among top Breakout players in 2019?
He is playing the best D in the league in practice, I would say some of the best QBs in the league would struggle everyday in that situation. He will not deliver Mahones stats but he will be over 4000 yards, 32 TDs, 12 ints. Ill take that.

Panthers at Bears, Preseason Week 1
I always think when people say things like good balance , great vision, hard to tackle, make him miss, they are just searching to say things that make a average back look better. The truth is , this guy has all that and it bodes well in the NFL. He doesn't have strong speed, but with a little sample, you can his attributes will make him a top 10 RB. So similar to K. Hunt it is amazing. He will be averaging over 5 YPC, breaching 1000 yards and at least 40 catches. If we were not so loaded with talent, he would be among the leading RBs in the league. He is special and clear to see the difference between him and Howard. (who I liked)

TalkBears Keeper FFB League #1
On the 2nd I have a online draft at 8 CT and a live draft at 6CT on the 3rd. If we can work around those that would be cool. The live draft would be impossible to try to do 2 but could probably do 2 online drafts at the same time both on Yahoo, but I am not sure.

TalkBears Keeper FFB League #1
I drafted Ryan in the ninth so I lose the 8th.

TalkBears Keeper FFB League #1
I just looked over my final roster and seen I have Matt Ryan in a latter round. I might as well keep him for my keeper. Everybody I picked up through the season was better than who I drafted, no wonder I was shitty. So I go from no keeper to 1 keeper , Matt Ryan I think I drafted him in the 9th or 10th, I will double check so I know what round I lose. I figure taking a top 10 rated qb that late is to my advantage.

Eyes on Training Camp
He is going against the best defense in the league and D is always a quicker starter at the beginning of the year. If by the end of the preseason then we should worry. Not now.

Eyes on Training Camp
I was reading that Whyte will be a gunner on STs and not a returner. I think last year when we had Mizzel on the roster instead of Nall, that was a tell tale sign of what Nagy values. We now have 2 3 down type backs in Davis and Montgomery which also diminishes the need to have Nall around. I think if we need a FB in any kind of set they would use one of the TEs instead of a RB.
-
Eyes on Training Camp
We no longer have any FBs on the team anymore, we did not resign (dont remember his name) this year. I think we keep 6 WRs 4 RBs, and 4 TEs. Patterson would be listed as a KR unless Ridley doesnt make the 53 roster.
-
Eyes on Training Camp
I read where Whyte has more use on STs as a gunner on kickoffs and punts. They talked about Nall having less of a role on STs. I could see them using him on a limited role in the offense this year and on everything on STs. I like Nall but they have 2 full down backs, I can see where speed wins out as far as the 4th RB.

Eyes on Training Camp
I think Nall has a up hill battle, Whytte has speed and if you keep the last spot , speed could rule that position. Several people have mentioned Whytte speed. (dont know if I am spelling that right.

Only 50 days but who's counting!!
For the defense will be better. Pagano is more aggressive that fits this team better. How many times did we see Mack or Floyd drop into coverage? To much. Also the offense will be better control the ball more and keep the defense off the field. We have ascending players in RRH, Floyd, Smith, Nichols and Jackson. Jackson has not yet peaked, this year and next will be a step up for him. Also Mack being here a full off season will be huge as far as how he affects the rest of the team. HaHa will end up with a better season than Amos did last year, a plus. Skrine might be the only step back but remember Calahan was gone for part of the season. Skrine is a physical player and I can see him shining in rushing the passer.

Breaking Down Bilal Nichols
I read that, he always does a good job, also Jack Soble does some good analyzing. Nichols is a another good late round pick that Pace made, he has been reshaping this team for several years now, missing on some first rounds but drafting stars later in the draft.

Riddick on Bears
I think a lot of all of this is just obvious, they got a upscale coach. The draft is adding players to the roster, they were relatively healthy. The defense preformed well the year before. For this year, I see us going to the SB barring key injuries. WHY? 2nd year of Nagy's offense, time to shine. Our defense has several ascending players. Smith, Floyd, Nichols, and also a full year for Mack. Also we have a more aggressive D coach which fits our players better. I think the OL is now settled and in the second year of HH coaching. I think MT takes a step forward. Lets say 4400 yards, 34 TDs, 10 int., 400 yards rushing and 3 TDs.

Eyes on Training Camp
I think if Kyle Long can stay healthy, our OL moves to top 5 instead of top 11 as rated now. I am very curious how good Duke Shelly plays, I think he may be our 4th best CB and gets a lot of playing time, no matter what spot they play him. As much as I think Javon Wims is going to take a step up, 2 rookies may beat him out for the 6th spot. Ridley and Hall. Very curious how much Adam Shaheen takes a step.

Fox’s take on Bears offseason
If I remember correctly Fox was complaining about Gould and he is the main reason we got rid of late great Gould.

Who Is Your Pick To Breakout?
Everybody is in play this year, its the year after they have to make some tough decisions.
-
Who Is Your Pick To Breakout?
I kind of agree with whoever said Wims may be fighting for a roster spot even though he may be very good going forward. With Ridley and Hall (E) it may be a battle. I think Marvin Hall may be cut if the rooks look good.
-
Who Is Your Pick To Breakout?
I see it playing out that way because with Mack's contract and having to pay MT, unfortunately Robinson with have to leave. I think Robinson will be a top 10 WR this year which will be hard to dump next year, but in two years with MT getting paid. He will be gone.

Roster Turn Over - Next 3 Years
In getting rid of players, I think many replacements are already on the team. For example Joel Iggy has not made any kind of splash but is being groomed to take over for Trevathan next year. Until he plays it looks like a bad idea, but it will be played out according to a plan. I think we have Princes replacement already on the team, Toliver or maybe Joesph. I think we are set to change WRs as our starters big contracts start to affect our cap. You always do a good job with your posts.
-
Who Is Your Pick To Breakout?
So everybody picking Wims, what makes it a breakout season 30 catches? I would say that is a mild breakout, or just getting more opportunities? I think there is many players that improve. You can make an case for many players. For us to go to the SB, MT has to take a big step. A defense with several great players, Hicks-Mack-Fuller-Jackson, I still think Smith stands out and makes the pro bowl, not as an alternate. He has good stats from last year but I think he will soar in big plays at critical times that pushes him to a star on a great defense.

PFF hates Trubisky
I would call him average last year, but he had some good moments. I think he will be top 10 this year with the offense going into its second year development.
