Since when is 6-3 undersized?
-
Heard today that his first year in Mot. his team had 22 sacks for the year, the year before with the same group, they had 68 sacks. I think we might be on to something.
-
good post.
-
The fact is we are now acting like a professionally run team.
-
If he drops to the 4th, I am with you with this scum bag.
-
Oh there are all kinds of scum bags in the NFl, but this is typical coming from ND. They came out and stated he told them about being the victim in the hoax. He was the perpetrator. There was stuff posted on his twitter, that he immediately removed today. Stuff on u-tube that disappeared. ND fashion with the Lizzy case, and the kid in the lift, then trying to manipulate this crab. There are low life people running that university as bad this this scum bag, making this shit up to get the Heisman. What a jerk. Anybody thinking for his side, just read the post.

What I like about all of this, they name Trestman coach in the middle of the night and by noon, he has two asstiants up and running. Like it

We can draft a speedy wr, we need to get a TE and OL in FAgency and draft a OL, MLB, and speedy WR in the draft. We dont have as much money under the cap as some people think on here. We still have to sign Melton and that will cost 5-6 mill, doesnt leave us with big money to spend on everything we need.

We ended up the #1 rated defense in the Aikman ratings, which factors in many different aspects of the game. With TOs being a key. We were a good defense not a great one, let the new coach decide who he wants, I dont really care. A good coach fits the scheme to the players you have to work with, adaptable to what ever. Im ok with that.
-
A good coach takes the players he has and makes them the best he can. We have lots of area's of need, but you cant fix everything in one year. Add some FAs and a good draft and we have a shot at the playoffs. Where our problem comes in is we are in no mans land with the draft, not bad enough to get a high pick and not good enough to make the playoffs. You always try to win every year, cant say (we wil rebuild this year) go with want you can do, hope for the best.

Well I would say when you get a job as a GM you can go after Holmgren. He is not in the picture, so why bring him up? I think there are other posts where you can whine about who you want.
-
I just read where yesterday Cris Mortensen reported that Bevell would be one of the finalist. I guess he REALLY has an inside the connection. He was a day ahead of anybody actually being accurate on finialist.
-
We all have opinions based on stuff we read, but lets face it, Emery is in the room interviewing these guys, so I trust he will make the right choice.
-
I think Arians is the lead for San Diego, since his buddy is the GM, so he has a choice. The more I here about Bevell, the more he sounds as the better choice. Trestman is a smart guy but not a vocal leader as Emery stated he wanted.
-
He has potential but we still need to add another TE. Cutler has no confidence in Davis, so he is worthless to this team.
-
they wont be hiring him for that job, somebody had a favor called in just to give him a interview. He has a bad track record for drafting and that means he will never work as a GM again.
-
He was the coach, not GM, but I am sure he had some input.
-
your right, I didnt notice they had 2 first rounds draft picks that year
-
I think he will be the guy.

One of the better Olines in the NFL, and how was it built? LT, Joe Staley- 6 years exp.-28th player chosen. LG,Iupati-3 years exp.-43rd player taken. C, Goodwin-11years exp.-FA from NO RG, Boone-3 years exp.-Undtrafted FA- projected as a RT RT, Anthony Davis-3 years exp.-11th player taken-Drafted as a LT The point to all of this is 2 #1 draft picks, 1 2nd, one UDFA, and a FA. Staley,Iputai, Davis started from day 1. Boones first year starting and Goodwin has started 5 years of his 11 year career You have to have high drafts pick that make it play on your line, SF has 3. Then you can fit in a couple around him. For us, if we drafted right, we would have Williams, Carmi, as first round picks starting. Garza, a good vet. and Louis a 7th round pick. Spencer a FA.(not any good) The problem is we never hit on our high draft picks. WE NEED TO DO THAT NOW. The 1st and 2nd rounds picks need to be hits and pick up another guy in FAgency. Then maybe we can start something good with the Oline.
-
We have one, not to the extent of those three you mentioned but good enough. It comes down to a good line and a good scheme.
-
I like your players and ideas, if we are playing fantasy football, then I'll add a mock. There are only 3 WRs with first round grades and only one worthy of a top 15 pick, hw has some injuries issues that could drop him down to the late 1st round. I just dont think SF is a likely candidate to move up.
-
I think Airians goes to San Diego, the new GM is a friend of his. Also I think the final three will be Sullivan, McCoy, or Trestman. They all might turn out to do well, or fail. One way to find out, hire somebody already and lets move forward, while we still have a good pick of other coaches.
-
Like the players just not sure SF will trade down just to make your mock draft look good.
-
I agree McClellin is not a bust yet. Any smart person doesnt rate a draft in one year. Also Terra, why would SF want to trade up? I dont think teams that have drafted so well the last few years, are interested in giving up extra picks to move up 9 spots. Good teams project a few good players being available, and they could have who they want fall to 29 from 20. If they focus on one player he would be, a stud up in the top 10 not marginal picks at 20.
