Somebody(not sure who) wanted to bring him in as a potential TE and he declined. I think he can practice religion anyway he seems fit, more power to him, its the media that makes it a circus.

With so many things to fix this offseason, sometimes you can it all done in one offseason. I am no McCown fan, but look what we bought last year and it didnt do dick. They will find someone,but it will be a professional QB not a circus act.

The fact that we drafted him when we already had 3 RTs on the roster should say something to you. There trying to get better.

I would gladly jump on that lineup, the only think I might question was Swope has had 4 concussions and that is why he was available in the 5th. In the 5th, why not.

Add all those facts up and what do you get,NOBODY WANTS HIM AS A QB. Root for him all you want it wont change what he is. So he had a few good games, look at anybody that played in the league and you could put together a film. I think it best you just buy a team and you can then acquire him for your QB. I read an article where a CFL team would like to bring him in as a backup, there is someone that wants him. I guess I was wrong.

I have given you a hard time about Teo but if we drafted him in the second I would have been all in on that. I still think you are a (closet Packer fan) and will one day expose that. Bloggers before brought up the 3-4 earlier this year and as long as Briggs,Peanut, and Peppers are here, we will be playing base 4-3, but I see in a couple of years us changing over to the 3-4. Washington was the top rated LOLB on PFW and with SCM,Greene and Bostic, I think that works for that scheme.

It is all subjective, value people put on people vary a lot, but nobody had him that low. PFW had him at 38th best player in the draft, picking him with our second pick(he would have never made it there) would have been consider a good value at 20 it just wasnt. With all the linemen going, if Emery wanted him he had to pull the trigger. I am all in on the pick after doing some reading, but that still doesnt give it a good value. If he turns out to be real good at a spot we needed up grading all of this talk wont matter. I am rooting for him.

I would say it should have never been brought up, so closing it down is a good idea. NO,NO,NO. McCown is just a guy,we dont need projects to practice playing QB. Get him and play him at TE or something. Your a smart guy but you attach yourself to some bad talent. Tebow, Webb, jump on the bandwagon of some good players.

I think Long eventually moves to LT, after Bushrod's guaranteed money is gone. The players that fit Kromers style is Bushrod, Long, Brown, and Webb. There was a article on this on midway illustrated, an interesting article.
