Here up to this date either already have visited or have them coming in(draft prospects we have looked at) WRs Wright and Randle Wright would be with the first round, Randle would probably be figured to be taken in the second CBs Tandy and T. Johnson Tandy would probably be UFA, and T. Johnson a 2nd or 3rd round pick LBs Z. Brown, D. Fleming,B. Irwin(will be a DE) Brown a 3rd round pick, Fleming 4th or 5th round, and Irwin a 2nd or 3rd pick. DL T Fuggar(DE) C. Jones(DE) Fuggar as a UFA and Jones a 3rd rounder OL OT Stephenson OG Leary both would be UFAs TE A. Robinson late round or UFA Information came from PFT

If they looking to add depth, that probably tells us , they wont be going first round with a OT. Althought at the min. he could take Horns roster spot and they still draft a high pick at OL.
-
Most of the best OTs were taken in the first round. There is exceptions to that rule, but the better players are higher picks.I would just like a Tait type of player, better than average, doesnt have to be elite.
-
They didnt say why in the article I read, but they said he was a putz off the field.
-
I think he will be there and I agree they should consider him.
-
I think we draft DE,OL,DT in that order. We are not sure how they look at the weaknesses of the team. If they deem OL a weakness, they go there first, DL, thats our stop. They have filled holes so far, so we will know in 15 days.
-
They would never even consider that. They are going to give Wooten one more chance and will try to fill other needs. They will definitly draft one in first two rounds.
-
The point is you irritate me. You make comments( and I am not saying all your comments are bad ones) you stick with one and no matter how far its off, you never change your stance. I tried to show you many different opinions about Kirkpatrick not being the BPA when you list others at less valve that have a better grade but are a need.I gave you something else to look at, but I dont have any content to my responses. You were way off base and you still stick with that stupid( the cap figures were right) thats why you irritate me.
-
I think maybe instead of using one website you should look at many and determine your opinion, but thats not you, I forgot you were the one stuck on the 46 mil figure for the cap space, and didnt listen to what anyone else had to say. How did that work out for you when the actual figures came in.

NFP has him listed at the 11 BP with a 7.5 grade, also listed with a 7.5 grade are Coples, and Ingram. PFW has him listed as the 23rd best player. also listed a head of him are Reiff, Ingram,Coples,Cox,Brockers,Glenn,Adams, Poe (players at a need position) GBND has him listed at the 18th best player, ahead of him in positions of need, Reiff, Ingram, Coples, Cox, Brockers Walters football has him listed as the 13th best player, ahead of him in positions of need Reiff, Ingram, Coples OurLads has him being drafted 23rd, not having a big board listing Draft tek has him listed as the 27th best player, ahead of him 10 players at DE,DT,LT NFL.com has him list at the 11th best player, ahead of him are Ingram, Coples, and Reiff. The point I am trying to make is he is probably not the BPA at 19 , several other players will be ahead of him at a position of need. I think he is a special player but we wont be drafting him. Also I cant find where NFL.com says he is a better player than Claiborne, just checked the website.

Any takers for a FS still young, got size, but seems to be a putz off the field. New lease on life, Lovie can have him move in with him and babysit. 56 games-56 starts-10 inter-31 PDF-one sack-324 tackles.that is 6 per game, and the best part will be gotten cheap. Considering the lack of talent at the position in the draft, we should take a look. I think our DC was there when he was drafted-2007.
-
He could be a very special player, but dont think the Bears will draft a CB with the first round pick. Our depth is OK now at CB, as someone else pointed out it is not the key positions this defense covets. I think they can find in 3rd or 4th round CBs that could start in our defense. They will bring in an impact player at a position of greater need, DE,DT,LT if one is there before CB.
-
I agree other than the DEs need to generate a pass rush. I think with Urlacher playing at a high level we dont go there, unless Kuechly drops. Free saftey, there isnt any of valve for the first two rounds so we wont go there. DT is a great possiblity with several being there at 19. DE will definity be addressed and probably with the first round depending on how the draft falls.
-
I dont think OG is our target, but if DeCastro is there, you have to take him. Maybe if Glenn is there that is the best option, will have to see how the draft falls.
-
I dont think the OL class and DE class are considered bad. With all the information we have there are 7 OLs that have a first round grade. NFP(which I like) has 8 OLs being drafted in the first round. It may not be great, but bad doesnt apply. According to NFP they have 7 DEs in the top 64 players. Also there mock draft shows 4 being drafted. Define the term bad? Bad for me would be safety, only 2 listed in the top 64 players. Only one will be drafted in the first two rounds.

I am not saying I would want him gone, but if he wants the 30 for a three year contract, no way I would pay that. I think a resonable contract with incentives would work, but the Bears wont offer him a one year-5 mil deal, He aint worth or deserves(respect) at a big contract.
-
I tend to agree with 19 thru 28 could be players rated about the same, but if someone from the front of the draft drops, then you have to consider him instead of the thought of moving down. Lets say Kuechly drops, he wont last very long, he is a stud and I totally think we would very much consider picking him even tho right now isnt a pressing need. Play him at SLB and put him where you want him as the pro bowlers leave.

I have looked at several draft grading players and there is about 18 that are considered first year starters/pro bowl potenial players. So I will list and figure out who might be there at 19. Luck,Griffin,Richardson,Blackmon, Floyd, Kalil,DeCastro, Reiff,Glenn,Fleener, Kuechly, Coples,Ingram,Brockers,Cox,Claiborne,Kirkpatrick,Barron. These are players falling in those spots. Also could move into the top 18-Poe,Tannerhill,Wright,Konz, Jenkins, Upshaw,Martin,Gilmore. So as the draft goes will determine who the best player available at that spot. We wont be going after Luck,Griffin,Richardson,Fleenner. that leaves 14. We wont have any chance of drafting Blackmon, Kalil,DeCastro, and Claiborne, because they will be gone.So that leaves us with 10 Potenially moving up into the top 18, I think Poe Tannerhill, Upshaw, goes sooner. Leaving us Floyd, I think he will be gone Reiff , I think he will be gone Coples , I think he will be gone Barron, I think he will be gone. So our choices will be, depending on how the draft goes. Kirkpatrick/CB, I think with our Free agents, we dont draft a CB in at 19 Kuechly/LB, I think odds are he wont be there. Brockers/DT I think odds are he will be gone. So I think our choices will be from Cox/DT, Ingram/DE,Glenn/OL out of the top players in the draft. Also close that we could take would be Martin/LT, and Mercilus/DE. I dont think we go WR at that spot with the potenial to grab Wright or Hill. I think that will be one of those players at 19, unless we move down. Martin and Mercilus arent in the group of top players but close enough that we might reach for them.
-
He still have to prove himself, and we will be drafting somebody at some point to compete with him. Enough of this (he might be good) we need options if they dont pan out.
-
Urlacher is in his last year at about 10 mil. Do you want to keep a 35(next year) LB at 10 mil for a couple of more years. I think he stays around but not going to get big money. It didnt do much damage with Kruenz as our OL cornerstone. I dont want a high pick at LB but I think if Kuechly falls they definitly think about it. He is a stud and we find a spot for him.
-
I think they think they have some flexability now. If they get a tackle they leave Williams at OG, if they fill a OG spot with a FAgent, or a high pick they move him out to LT and roll with what we got. I think it is easier for them to upgrade at OG in FAgency than OT so depending on how the draft goes we have some flexablity . I think Spencer is the depth at OC and OG so he stays. I think he plays better at OC so maybe they consider that move with Garza.
-
I dont think they go CB until 3 or 4, he is not our stength, but it is not now a major weakness.
-
I think he was a decent player that we wanted back at our price, but we must not have been offering him more than a one year deal and he did better with the Bucs. That leaves us with at least one DT to draft and maybe two. I think there is a strong possiblity that the BPA might be a DT with that first pick, it depends on if there is a run at a position.
-
I think the possiblity of the BPA could be a DT, which wouldnt kill me, but not my plan.

Here is what I would like to happen in the draft.(not necessary what I think will happen) At 19-we trade down with Houston to 26 and get there 4th(4) and 5th(161). At 26-we pick Perry/DE logic-Houston wants a WR and Wright is still there at 19 and he played at Baylor. at 50- we pick Massie/LT fills a need and could become a starter if Webb fails later in year. at 79-we pick T. Johnson/CB- big with the potenial to start in first year. at 99-we pick A. J. Jenkins/WR- adds to our depth with speed and production. at 111-we pick Jaye Howard/DT- a rotation guy takes Okoyes place. at 150-we pick A. Allen/SS-depth with size and production at 161-we pick Manning/OLB-speed and production. 6th round-Hanna/TE- a speed guy with potenial 7th round-Messina/ILB- a productive player that played at Urlacher's college. I used Walters draft and NFP player valve to make my wish list. I had to go by something. I tried to address all needs and listed players I think can make the team in 2012. I think Perry becomes a situational pass rusher. I think Massie has potenial to start if Webb fails after some developement I think Johnson could start his first year. I think Jenkins contributes as a slot WR his first year. Howard becomes a rotation player Allen adds depth Hanna sticks as a pass receiving TE I think Manning and Messina sticks as ST players and adds depth to LBing. We will address our LBers next year with a first round pick.
