  1. I think they have a plan, and fear it may not be looking at the OLine as a priority. They wont be done till after the draft, so I have to wait to give my opinion. They absoulutely have to address the OT spot, and it looks for now that will be with one of the first two picks, if not, then I will join you in complaining.
  2. I think we are all adults here, and have no problem with the passioniate posters disagreeing and sometimes saying something stupid. I may say something stupid but it is usually intended to be funny, more than saying if with malice. All the lippy ones are the ones that make it interesting on here, and that is a long list.
  3. I would rather not see RW in a Bears uniform again, He makes a couple of good catches, then drops a big one for ya. I would rather have some new blood to look at. He just seems to not have the mind set to play consistently and you just cant count on him.
  4. Weems is on that depth chart instead of Sanz.
  5. Devin Thomas, boy we struck gold. I guess he can play STs.
  6. I actually like the Quick pick if it was in the third. Perry isnt a valve at 19, thats a reach.
  7. Wright is not overrated, there is plenty of WRs his size that have successed in the NFL, whether he does or not, we will see.
  8. Bush signed with the Pack, Hayden, Gay, or Jennings
  9. I think anyway you look at it , you have a good player, they have to make a shot at the SB this year and are better with a known commodity. Unless we hit on the next two drafts big time, we are on the downhill slide on defense. I actually think Bush could carry the load, but Forte is better. The 2nd and the 4th sound like the right price someone would offer, but if the best franchise over the last 10 years wants him, what does that tell you. He has valve, and going forward with Marshall he will be more of a stud.
  10. From what I am reading and hope none of it is true, they are satisfied with the progress of OL and maybe will draft a swing tackle in the mid rounds of the draft. Bell has injury issues , but is a big upgrade if healthy.
  11. I find that hard to believe, because I think they are trying to make a run at SB this year considering the age of the defense and they are a better team with Forte than without him. Plus they have a control of him, I think he has to sign the tender or accept a contract before they could even think of trading him. If they were actually in trade talks, they were be some other place it would show up. To many bodies involved.
  12. you dont play in the NFL, that is not a normal life situation. Call it a prediction of sorts.
  13. I am just making a call, that he wont play this year. I actually dont think he will continue in football. Its still up in the air, but it just a hunch. Also the only things that matters is we cant count on him and need to address it.
  14. I read many sites and they all have different opinions on these two, and from what I read think they will stay at LT.I have never read Martin has short arms.
  15. It has been announced, J. Knox on pup list, if there doing that now, he wont play for 2012.
  16. Bell would be nice, and Mating and Adams will be playing LT in the NFL
  17. We are a better team with Forte, I dont care if he whines, I just want him to play. I dont blame him for wanting a little security, but I understand the Bears position and totally agree with it. This is the year we have to make a run at the Super Bowl and we would be better served to be at full stength.

We have other areas of need that we need to fill before we bring in a quality TE.
  19. They got a pro bowl WR for a bargin price. For nothing would have been better, but this was going down at the opening of FAgency and you had to jump on him or make a play for VJackson. It was all about the timing they couldnt wait a week to see if he might be released, all the good WRs would have been gone. You have to be pro active.
  20. This morning I was listening to the SCORE and Rosie made an interesting comment. He stated that you need to add to make the defense strong this year and not worry about replacing people that are starting to get old. They are going all in and it is just about this year and you will have to deal with the aging players next year and going forward. Also he talked to John Mullin and said that the Bears are staisfied with the OLine. Which I didnt like to hear, but hope they still add a couple of bodies to the mix if Carmi doesnt stay healthy or Webb and Williams dont pan out. I think we probably have enough in the middle if we get the OT thing figured out.
  21. As you have stated none of them are expected to be there. Which will make it interesting because someone projected much higher will drop, as always happens in the draft.
  22. You are not always realistic in your expectations but you are right on with all that you posted, except I am not that sure of Streeter. I think there are other better choices at WR.
