What a putz Urlacher is, he comes out and states he would have played for Dallas this year. They werent interested in him, he just says dumb things sometimes. That is why it was always hard to endear yourself to him, great on the field but a putz with the fans and media.

Every year is different and usually new coaches dont do well there first year, but if the OLine is fixed and Cutler and Trestman click we could be in for a successful year. I would say 9-7 to 11-5 is a realistic projection. I will be more specific after training camp. I am a glass half full kind of a guy and look forward to this year.

I will always take a football player over an athlete, the trick is to get both in the same package.

Him being a HOFer on the first ballot is no slam dunk. I do think he make it the second time.

They roll the dice on some players and maybe one will pop out and mean something.

The Bears signed Maurice Jones a CB, kind find much about him, but is a rookie, UDFA player. They did this after Dropping Andre Fluellen/DT back to the old drawing board with the DT position.

I would say it is a big factor in the evaluation, what are they going to go by his press clippings, oh he doesnt have any.

Hopefully this all turns out ok, it would be nice if he come in to camp looking like the player we drafted,but for some reason, I find that hard to believe this all turns around this quickly after a 2 year slide.

I am not talking about receiving percentage, 192 targets for Marshall, 181 to everyone else. They all were inconsistent last year. He threw to Marshall because he trusted him more, he would go up and fight for balls.

The problem was he didnt have anybody else he could trust. Bennett,Hester,Davis, they all sucked last year.

I thought they needed another QB prospect to groom but it appears they like Blanchard a lot so that derailed the pickup. I think they need another DT and that still could happen. With training camp approaching there will still be some cuts. I think the possibility exists Idonije still comes our way. I think most of the roster is set with a few fringe players to be added and subtracted. I think the possibility still exists that Hester and Weems could be gone. They only do one thing and with a tight budget, ,may not be enough. I think our WRs are on the roster, with the first 3 set and the 4th and 5th will be filled by our prospects. Who will be cut? Obviously Carimi is the first name to pop up. E. Williams roster spot will also be in jeopardy Hester and Weems are up in the air.IMO

He is someone else's first round pick,they watched tape and he was terrible. So the new coaching staff put him at the bottom of the depth list. He has to prove himself, and seems he copped an attitude. You need to be there to change peoples minds and he is not.

The problem is he isnt at OTAs that doesnt endear him to the new coaching staff.

New regime, new expectations, and same old bad picks by someone we dont need to mention. As someone on here was insightful about, we dont need to draft pre injured players. It ended up being a lost cause on Carimi, he will probably suck it up and end up playing with someone else, bad tape, bad attitude can get u cut.

I was just out to Vegas for 5 days and had a beer called Sweaty Betty, I for some reason like that name. I may change my fantasy football names to that . Anybody had that beer before.

I heard today that Carmi does not like the fact he is not being able to compete at RT and is trying to do things to piss off the team so they cut him and he can catch on with another team. He has garuenteed money, and wants a chance somewhere else.

The possibility exists he has a bum knee, and will never be good.
