I heard today on the Score that one team has offered a 6th round pick for Olsen. If someones scouits think he is only worth a #6, I dont see anybody offering a #2 for him, except maybe from the Canadian League.

What about the O-Line, WR & Defensive Backs?

I totally agree with you. Atogwe, if possible would be a bigtime signing, at 29, could have 3 productive years, and then with the first two draft picks, get a OG and OT. Then I would just draft CBs with our last three picks, and hope we can find a gem in the rough. The only other option I would consider is to go after a FA CB, like Bodden and move Tillman to FS. He would play well there. Only after knowing we couldnt get Atogwe. -
I wish we could get a #1 for him but the reality of him as an elite TE is elite doesnt fit. All some one has to do is watch tape on him last year. I took him as my TE in three of my fantasy leagues, and way over valved him. If someone gives us a #2 for him they GM wont be long in his job. I would hope for a #3 at best.

I should have probably proof read that topic first, my 8th grade education is showing again. (are instead of on)slim and (probably instead of problem) just cut
-
I read on Profootballtalk.com that odds of Donta Whitner/FS/Buffalo staying on the team on slim. He was a 6th pick in the 2006 draft and havent lived up to expectations for the team. Could he revive his carrer as a Bear? I think it would be a low end risk to obtain him, and give it a shot. Offer them a 6th pick? They will problem just cut him anyways.
-
They will trade Olsen, but unfortuately wont get a 2nd for him. Bodin went for a 3 and 4. We will be lucky to get a 3, and probably a 4. Olsen was suppose to be the nex great TE. He isnt a good blocker, was last at his position at YAC , dropped to many balls. Sorry a fast TE than doesnt do much else, isnt going to make in for Martz.
-
I think in this offense Louis could become the backup TE. The TE is just not a big receiver in Martz offense, so I would say Clark stays because he can block, and Davis goes. No way we keep 4 TEs.
-
They needed to get some pieces for Martz's offense and The TE(as a blocker) and Taylor fits it quite well. Great reciever, and excellent on the draw play. Plus he hits the holes quicker than Forte, so I think he will see more playing time than forte. It wont hurt to lite a fire under Forte.

first of all they wont address all needs as a priority. I think they find an OL in the first two picks of the draft. You can get a quality OG with the third pick and move Olimaye to RT. I think we need to draft both a OG and OT moving forward. With what they got for Boldin, I think we would be lucky to get a 3rd and probably a 4th for Olsen. So my idea is to offer a 5th and Olsen to KC for Glen Dorcey, DT. He doesnt fit there defense, and would excel in ours and maybe KC thinks Olsen reminds them of Gonzales. As for FS it wont cost any draft picks so we have to go after Atogwe, as a second option go after Bodden/CB from NE and move Tillman to FS. I think he would play well there and after NE paying Wilford big money wont spend alot on Bodden to retain him. As for WR, Boldin doesnt really fit Martz offense and we have enough upside in our Wideouts to take the risk and stand pat. With Knox, Devin, Devin, Bennett, Iglesius, and we just signed Peterman for two years. If Martz didnt think that would work, we would have went after somebody. In the draft I think we need to get a couple of OLs, still need to draft a FS and CB. -
This story has some unrealistic choices. Ryan cant leave Cleveland unless Cleveland lets him go. His is appling for the same position, so he cant seek a job, and as he did a good job with them, why would they let him walk? As far as the 3-4, Lovie wont let that happen. Brown is to light for a 5 technique DE, Tillman to FS makes alot of sense, but the 3-4 needs run stuffing ILBers and Im not sure Urac, and Williams fits that role. Anderson fits better as a OLB than Tisa. Idonije and Gilbert actually could fit the 5 tech end position. Denver wont trade for Harris, he doesnt fit a 3-4, and If they let Marshall sign somewhere else, that teams owe them a #1 and #3. We dont have a first round pick to make that work.
-
JA has had some good picks and bad ones. The problem is his high picks havent had enough hits, and that just isnt good enough. We are stuck with Lovie for another year for business reasons, but I thought if we got rid of Jerry and brought in some one to run the show and evaluate everything thru the next year, that that would have been a good move. It aint happening, but just dont have the trust in Jerry to make the right moves.
-
Is there anywhere that I could see my team, I cant find it on Yahoo, and being in 5 leagues last year I got confused.
-
I think for this team playing the screwed up scheme it does you have to have a FS, and just move Tillman to that spot and let some of the younger guys play, and bring in as draft picks or if there are any vets out there. A ballhawking FS is a must, been bad since Browny started his injuries. Vasher is gone, let someone else try.

the idea of having keepers shouldnt be a penalty, In one league I was in , after the 5th round we could keep one keeper and lose that round. Leaves for a normal draft and doesnt dilute it as bad. It worked out quite well.
-
Gosh I dont think I have been on here since the football season started. I vote for one keeper, if we all keep 2 it will dilute the draft and not make it as much fun. I also think whatever player you keep you just lose that round in the draft. So if you keep your first pick, you lose that round or your 5th pick lose that round. that makes picking gems in later rounds more attractive. Who was crushers, who won? I took a nose dive at the end, but had it going for awhile.
-
never mind already been done on another topic.
-
Do we start to get lucky again with stars not playing at the time we play them. This will be a huge advantage to us with him out.
-
In a ppr league, it probable favors the Marshall trade, if he gets his act together, which is a gamble for the trader. I would stay away from Marshall, but the Broncos will get better as the year goes on and he might turn into a good soldier. So if the rest of the team in your fantasy team is good, he will be playing well during your playoffs.
-
I pretty well agree with your predictions except if we play the Falcons at home in january I see us winning that game but dont make it past the next. If we go 11-5 that means our defense is pretty good and now have a past rush, so a january win sounds likely in the cold.
-
Since we have our league set, why dont you random the picking order, so I can mock draft my position and be prepared for our draft, the date is ok with me. I am retarded so I need more time than most.

Jay Cutler has moved from the #16th selling jersey to the #1 spot now as a Bear, according to the NFL team shop.
-
I have the 30th open, and previously stated was taken, so that is an excellent day.
-
Dont you think with Browns experience he should have helped the new CB to line up properly to take away the outside?
-
Im not sure he is in the doghouse, we have a new DB coach, and I think the moves are based on his opinion of who can play. Our perception of him being the next in line at CB was based on last year. With the weakness at FS they moved him there, and must have been lacking to fill that position, so they give the job to DM right before training camp begins. So no one at nickel, so moved him in there. With the passing teams we are playing early in the season, nickel will be on the field most of the time. So moving him to nickel isnt necessarily a demotion.
