I think with the value of QBs these days several teams need a QB, and there value isnt there early in the draft but could move up to get ahead of there competition to grab a QB later in the first. Cele, Buff, Jacksonville, and Oakland all have a stake in getting a upgrade at QB. I also think Arizona could grab one even with Palmer there. With the 20th pick there is a chance a player with a greater value could slide and someone with extra picks, Miami, SF, or Balt could want them bad enough to move up.

I just read we had a in house visit with Te'o, stick a revolver in my mouth. Actually its not that bad, but I prefer different LBers before we get to him.

Thats what I thought, I remember with all the discussions before, that I didnt think you were able to go over all the Bear games. I think if someone breaks down tape they can have a better input in to a one player is better than another discussion, but small sample size isnt enough to make a rational judgement. I recorded all the Bear games last year and did concentrated on the OL and in general it wasnt very pretty. Last year has passed and lets hope for better results this year from some different players.

We cant ever have a Webb is a better LT again, because he doesnt play that position any more, so any discussions comparing one player to another player is pointless.

So what now were back on the Webb thing again? We moved on from Webb as our LT, lets hope he can improve enough to play RT and everybody will be happy.

Why are we watching this? The Bears plotted to make Webb and Carmi fail? Sometimes in the NFL teams actually need players make one on one blocks. Different schemes use different blocking formations. You cant always double team every player on defense, sometimes you actually have to make a block.

There is only a few teams with multi picks in the second. Miami, SF and Cinn. Of them the only I see making a trade to move up is SF. They have a ton of picks and will easily not offer 2 2s. Very few will make there roster, and keeping the picks at the upper end of the draft will be paramount.

Well if the Bears trade down and we would rather have a player they could have had at 20, doesnt that give us a different option? Or do we only pick with whatever the Bears picks are?

I think with Bennett, Forte, and another speed WR added, he will be throwing the ball around more. Marshall will be the main target, but it will change a lot this year.

I actually think it will be a 2nd, 3rd and 5th for our first round. I dont see 49ers giving away that much to move up 10 spots for a pick. I having been reading different positions and after Millner,Rhoades, I think Banks is the next best CB in the draft.

The most obvious would be who goes in the first round behind our pick. I also see a really good chance we trade back,so that will change our approach. That will still leave us with the option of who we would have taken in the first round.

With Edwin Williams on the team, I think he would be the first to replace Garza if he got hurt, but they must see something developmental in this guy. Maybe Kroner can turn him into a player in the NFL trenches. I did see where he had 30 reps on the benchpress, that would tell me the guy has some strength.

I agree we need help at several positions, but since we addressed some of those needs in FAgeny, I wouldn't objection if we drafted Austin in the first.. You don't think that help our offense?

If he doesnt play well this year, i dont think we will be offering the 15 mil a year deal. If he plays well it will be at least 15 mi.

I thought when he mentioned playmakers he was talking about the offense at the time, but Matthieu as a KR, PR would qualify for that also.

He has been around 5 years though, so not so much as far as developing type player like McC.

I dont think these signing affect our cap, its the cost of the top 51 roster spots, and I bet these are low value contracts.

I agree, I dont understand that signing, because we need a bigger guy to back up Paea.

Emery mentioned about adding playmakers to the team. I think Forte was not used properly last year and I think Trestman will do a better job of that. I think Bennett adds a lot to our offense. Jefferys gets better and you cant beat Marshall(he s a stud) Were not going to grab a RB in the draft, and I doubt very much if we draft a TE, so if we find a playmaker if will be at WR. I think the only 3 WRs that will turn into impact playmakers will be Austin, Patterson, and Woods. My first choice would be Austin, which could possibly be there for us in the first. Otherwise Woods could be there in the second, if we choose to go that way. SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK AS FAR AS CHASING A PLAYMAKER IN THE DRAFT
