Yeah I think depending on tone in locker, they need to really consider it. And I have been one who said just wait until the end. I would not hand it to Brown - he had to focus all his energy on Caleb and the offense.

Absolutely. Brain dead is an understatement. Once the qb got killed on what was an awful play (I don’t even know what the hell that play was), once they say things headed south - call your timeout and realize you are now playing for a shorter field goal. Reset for 3rd down play and now you either go sideline or middle field with a quick spike to end. Caleb got killed on the previous play and guys were everywhere (Romo said it was a draw play - which it might have been, but Caleb looked like he was passing - yet no one blocked - it was awful).

I’ll say it right now - Bears are a good coach and draft away but things can go sideways. I just know one thing - I don’t need a hard ass head coach but I need someone who is a natural born leader. Vrabel or Belicheck on defense is fine as those head coaches go…even the Lions DC is intriguing. I don’t know enough about Lions OC…Campbell has so much swag I’d be worried their OC is more Waldron than Campbell. If Miami ditched their head coach he could be an interesting option. Total nerd but he is a great offensive mind….goes against my leader thing but he must be - his players love him. Vrabel is pretty much top on my list.

Short week and road game in this situation. He is in a big hole. Brown has to think big picture here. Maybe Bears should just hand things to Belicheck and Vrabel now lol. Set the culture now.

Lions are really freaking good. Bears are also such a bad match up for them with their porous run defense.

It’s why I want to destroy the lions so badly today. Would be awesome to see Caleb have like a 5 TD win over best team in football!!!

Defense will be fine - need an early round dlinemen and maybe a vet free agent signing. I’d stick to drafting another dub/safety as well…but I’m confident d will reset in the offseason and get back with some swagger.

The Bears are 10 point dogs - they have lost 5 in a row and are playing the hottest team in football. Under zero scenario should they be favored or near favored. Do I hope they win - hell yes I do, but the Lions are the best team in football right now.

I want a win pretty bad here. Would be great to see Caleb just ball out on thanksgiving

In fairness they wouldn’t have went for 2 - so it would have been a tie either way. You want to question a move question when they went for it on 4th. Not that I understood why they went for 2 early in the game. They outplayed Minny all game but had some costly 3rd down drops..a Keenan toes drop a great play and than a stupid muffed punt and some tough PI’s when Bears didn’t get the call (Odunze on the Moore pass was a total PI).

I can’t wish for that. A disaster means offense and Caleb play bad. I actually want them to go win but at very least play it down to the wire. Want to see Caleb stack a 3rd straight good game together!

We agree so much. Even just that Keenan dime on sideline that ended up being just out. He was same good - a couple dangerous ones and maybe 1-2 that got away but they were literally moving ball around all game!

This - Caleb played fantastic today and against a defense that can wreck rookie qbs. Flus is one game closer to being gone and they should have a high pick for some linemen. Dang did Caleb play well. I just need the players to keep playing so it doesn’t get toxic in that locker room. Lions game on turkey day will be another tough one but I feel real good about Caleb’s last 2 games.

It was one game with brown - was it better, yes - but let’s not jump way ahead. If 4 weeks from now they have put up 25+ points a game then we can talk.

If Caleb and Rome and the players look bad - than I think he is gone.

It’s the fact that we have talent and if Caleb is progressing and Rome is progressing that I can say we are trending up across the board. That makes me think Poles gets another shot

This next game is going to be tough. Flores is as tough as it gets when it comes to scheme, especially confusing a young qb.

Was good to see him bounce back after a couple tough outings. He is still a rookie and has shown plenty of flashes. He absolutely has plenty to work on but was nice seeing more positive play out of him as well as from Rome. Let’s see how this offensive unit can grow over 2nd half of the season.

This loss stings - but saw a lot of positives today from Caleb and Rome and the offense as a whole.

I just want to see growth from Caleb and the younger players at this point.

Yeah with Brown coming in, I’m not expecting miracles…but Caleb is just halfway into his rookie year..new oc kind of hits a refresh mid point…but oline is a week away from being healthy and so trend might be favorable there and this firing almost serves as a mini reset for offense which might align and in some crazy way work for almost resetting Caleb in his development (in a good way).

Good riddance to the bum. Bout time we hold him accountable and send that message to rest of locker room.

Unfortunately I see top 10 in their future…but I hate it. I hope they surprise me and win half of the division games and get to 7 wins…rooting for wins and Caleb and collective growth. This isn’t last year/two when I was rooting for picks.
