Jets OG Brandon Moore cut
I think Garza was eaily our worst OLineman last year. Some thought it was Tait, but Garza did absolutely nothing.

Jets OG Brandon Moore cut
Brandon Moore was the starting RG for the Jets the past 4 years or so and was cut to save cap. He's a great run blocker and would be a perfect replacement for Garza (who needs to go). He's only 28 and has only been playing the OLine for about 6 years and still has room to improve.

Vikes make QB move
As long as they don't get Cassel. Rosenfels is a good QB, but he's a bonehead.

R. Johnson has met with several teams
My ideal first day would be Oher in the 1st, and Johnson in the 2nd.

St. Clair contract offer
I got no problem with this. It is overpaying a bit, but we need him back. Also, hopefully the deal is backloaded as well so we could possibly cut him after a year or two when we hopefully won't need him anymore. He's basically a stop gap for us at either LG or RT until we find someone better.

Bears targing Another Tackle in draft
A decent year with USC? Have you seen Sanchez's stats from the past year. He had something like 35 TD's, 10 INT's, a comp. % around 65, over 3000 yards passing, etc... and that's only decent? And while Sanchez might bust, everybody taken in the draft might bust, and actually Michael Oher has some of the biggest boom or bust value in the draft.

Interesting news about our secondary
we need improvements at both SS and FS but right now fs is the more important spot. im hoping for either rashad johnson in the 2nd (if hes there) or loius delmas in the late first (assuming we could trade down). as for steltz, i see him as nothing much more than maybe a decent backup and special teamer.

If We Do Have 32 mil...
I wish people would stop confusing Madden with the real world.

Bears targing Another Tackle in draft
A LOT of people feel Sanchez is the no. 1 QB. The difference between Stafford and Sanchez is a lot closer then people realize.

Bears targing Another Tackle in draft
lol, Oher could very well be gone in the top 10. If Sanchez falls to 18, I'll eat crow, but I'll tell you for sure that he won't. Sanchez is a top 10 pick and any QB challenged teams picking beyond the top 10 passing up a potential franchise QB is beyond idiotic.

Tait's Retirement Definite
Kahlif Barnes was pretty terrible last year and a good indication of that is how LT will most likely be the Jags no. 1 pick this year.

Bears targing Another Tackle in draft
lol, there are no absolutes in the draft. But you don't pass up on a potential franchise QB when you're in a situation like us, and we just drafted who should be our franchise LT last year.

Fred Taylor or Duece McAlister
Dunn had a lot more in the legs than wolfe. Sprolles is more like Dunn if anything.
-
Fred Taylor or Duece McAlister
WOLFE DOES NOT HAVE THE BODY TO BE ABLE TO WITH STAND THE PUNISHMENT OF HAVING THE BALL MORE THEN MAYBE 5 TIMES A HALF. My god, name one other skinny ass running back who's 5'7", 190, and is anything more then a scat back. He's a good scat back, but to think he'd be able to even carry half of the load in the NFL as a RB is pretty damn stupid.

Peppers tagged
Odds are Peppers is traded. The Panthers just won't have enough money to pay him, and they weren't gonna let him get away for nothing.

Bears targing Another Tackle in draft
What an incredibly idiotic post. You don't pass on a potential franchise QB, especially at 18, because of the track record for other QB's that declared early. That's freaking retarded. However, unfortunetly, odds are that Sanchez is going to be long gone. Back on subject now, Oher in the 1st at 18 would be awesome, and I wouldn't mind Loadholt in the 2nd if we don't get Oher. Either guy would be a great fit at RT for us.

These are my hopes for draft day
Playing him at RT might be a bit of a waste of some of his talent, but he'd dominate there, and it'd be nice to know if Chris Williams doesn't pan out, we'd have someone like Oher behind him who could be the franchise LT as well. Oher could also play inside if we wanted.

These are my hopes for draft day
I'm hoping Oher falls to 18, which he might.

Fred Taylor or Duece McAlister
I would not mind Fred Taylor at all. Good solid vet, runs hard, and would provide us with a legit backup to Forte. If Wolfe is our main backup going into next year, may god have mercy on us. Wolfe is only good for special teams, and a series or two a game. He's a scat back type who'd be good once in a while to speed up the game for us. He's perfect for once we get the D tired. Also, Kevin Jones, I'm willing to bet, isn't even considering the Bears next year. Fred Taylor can pound it, and if Forte does get injured, I'd feel a WHOLE lot more comfortable with Taylor steping in with Wolfe and Peterson behind him then I would with Wolfe and Peterson stepping in for Forte. Also, Taylor >>>>>>>> Jones.

Bucs washing hands of Garcia
I think he might retire, cause the only spots I see for him is as a backup. I really think Minny is going to go for Cassel, and the Jets don't make much sense. I'm just curious if we'll see the Bucs jump ahead of the Bears and Jets and draft Sanchez, if Sanchez falls past the 49ers (which I think he will, if the Seahawks don't take him). Hmmm, maybe the Seahawks could be a possibility for Garcia, if he'd be willing to take a backup role.

In a fight for the Starting Guard
If we sign Gross, I think there's no way we bring St. Clair back unless there isn't much of a market for him and he'd come fairly cheap. Otherwise, we just wouldn't be able to put that much money into the OLine. I could see Garza being cut, but that's dependent on what we do in FA and the draft. My dream line however would be: LT: Chris Williams | John St. Clair LG: John St. Clair | Josh Beekman OC: Olin Kreutz | Josh Beekman RG: Dan Buenning | Draftee (2-4 round range) RT: Gross | John St. Clair All that would be missing is a developmental tackle or someone who could play C and G.
-
Tait Set to Retire
With the amount of money Gross would cost, I highly doubt we'd resign St. Clair if we did sign Gross.
-
Left Tackle Still Highest Priority...
This thread is quite stupid to be perfectly honest. Chris Williams is going to be given every chance to succeed at LT. It would be beyond insanely idiotic to draft yet another LT in back to back years, AND sign Jordan Gross.
-
Left Tackle Still Highest Priority...
You forgot to mention that Stacy Andrews is complete garbage and actually gave up as many sacks as St. Clair did, except he was actually playing the right side.

Urlacher/two 3rd's for Boldin?
If this was madden, yeah... but other wise the mere thought of this is ludicrous.
