  1. eww... If we pick him, talk about a colossal waste of a draft pick.
  2. Don't worry, I'm half polish and will probably eventually be there.
  3. Thanks for the compliments. This tape is an edited version of the one I sent out to the coaches. To make the tape, we used this program which had all the plays cut up, and to be honest, the original version is pretty bad. I mean it's not bad quality or anything, it's pretty much the same as this but with a lot more useless junk. I didn't have time to do a lot of editing before I sent it out, and I only really sent it out to some JuCo's. I mainly re-did the highlight tape because I was bored and did it for fun, and to show it to some friends and family members... No scholarship offers really except some partial ones from a couple NAIA schools. I was really a late bloomer and didn't really realize any of potential until my senior year. Played in grammar school, didn't play my freshman year (probably one of the biggest mistakes of my life so far), was a backup sophomore year, Junior Year I was 6'2" 220 and probably 3rd or 4th on the depth chart, and finally senior year with a new coach (who helped give me the drive I needed) I was 6'3.5" 250 (6'4" 265 is where I'm at now) and started every game, every snap, for a team that was a legit state contender. I'm really leaning towards going to JuCo (Junior College) right now, and in fact I am 99.9% that's the route I'm gonna take (just a matter of choosing the right one, and I have it narrowed down, just depends on who the new HC is). I might also walk on at NIU, but I'm really only talking to them right now in hopes of being on their radar after a year (hopefully only a semester) or two in JuCo. Also, for my JuCo highlight tape, I'll get it done by a professional where they can put an arrow or spotlight on me. Also, with the JuCo, I will have access to more tight views and endzone views where I can show multiple angles, and such. For my best plays I can play it fast normally from the wide sideline view and then slow motion it again in the tight endzone view. Also, the JuCo I'm looking at (Harper) is one of the best in the Nation and basically have 4 holes on the OLine they have to fill.

  5. Hey, I have recently uploaded my highlight tape of my senior year in football onto youtube and I wanted to post it here. I just want to here what all the amateur scouts here think of it. I hope you don't mind me posting it in this section, but this is where all the trafic is... I recommed going to the youtube link to view it, but you don't have to. It's just that the video is bigger and easy to spot me at youtube. Also, make sure you hit the HQ button at the bottom right, as it does make a big difference. EDIT: For some reason I can't get the video to post on here, so you have to go to the link, sorry.
  6. Hopefully us not signing a QB before the draft means we will make a play for Mark Sanchez.
  7. I think it's a far stretch to say Barnes is better then St. Clair. Younger yes, but Barnes has been mediocre, at best, throughout his days in Jacksonville.
  8. I thought for sure he wouldn't want back. This leads me to believe that he rarely played last year not because he sucked, but rather because he still wasn't completely healthy. I wouldn't mind him as a stop gap as our 2nd RB for a year or two while he fix other areas of need. Hell, and maybe when Jones is finally healthy, maybe he would show that he can be a really good 2nd RB with Forte, and we can eliminate 2nd RB as a need in the future. We'll see.
  9. This is a big non story. After McDaniels and Cutler talk, if they haven't already, Cutler is gonna realize it wasn't the broncos trying to trade him, but teams wanting to trade for him, and that McDaniels was just doing what any good GM does and listen to any offers for any players. Cutler will be reassured that he is they guy, and this stroy will be dead soon. Also, if we did want him, I'd guess it'd cost us a 1st, a 2nd, and probably either a 1st or 2nd next year. Pro bowl QB's aren't cheap.
  10. I don't see us targeting WR early as they take time to develop. I was really hoping for Bryant Johnson, but a guy similar who I wouldn't mind bringing in is Mark Clayton. I think he could potentially be the no. 2 opposite Hester. Also, I would not be surprised to see us trade a 4th, maybe a 3rd, for Torry Holy.
  11. well, he already signed with the Eagles, and he ain't that good either. He's got more potential then Barnes, but he's still hasn't proven squat. Plus, he's got more injury concerns.
  12. yuck, Bharnes would be a waste of money.
  13. Canty and Olshansky would have to shift inside for us, and Olshansky is mediocre at best. And Jason Babin? The Chiefs pass rush was probably worse then ours last year. I really don't see us addind much to DE spot. Maybe a vet like Simeon Rice or a mid-late round draft pick. I think the team still has hope in Mark Anderson and is hoping Marinelli can work some magic on him to return him to his form from when he was a rookie.
  14. Nice, we let all e of the top guards sign else where. Omaylie or whatever his name is better be worth it. Brandon Moore signed for just 2 million more, but he might have given a discount to stay with the Jets.
  15. I think it can become 14.5 million in incentives. The only thing is, you have to assume the player will hit the incentives when you figure the salary cap...
  16. Not a big fan of this. Seems to me he might be a younger version of St. Clair. Solid backup and swing tackle, but nothing all that great. Hopefully he becomes something more than that, but I would have much rather see us take that money and the money we were gonna give St. Clair, and sign Brandon Moore.
  17. The Redskins are masters at back loading deals. Usually for their big signings, the first couple years of their salary are made up of their signing bonus. So right now, neither player is likely gonna cost the Skins too much, but in a couple of years, their base salary (especially Haynesworth) will sky rocket.
  18. I didn't see Moore on that list, but he is at the top of my list, ahead of Dockery.
  19. He gave up 8 sacks last year, but the whole Bills line sucked. It's hard to judge him on that season as there seemed to be problems with the whole teams play, not just his.
  20. I personally don't think there is much to this, but come draft time, every little thing will be critiqued. I hope however that if he is there at 18 with no other options, that we take him.
  21. we got upwards towards 30 million in cap space right now... However, I hope we don't spend a dime of it on T.J.
  22. Why the hell would we draft Beatty? 1, he is no where freaking close to being worth the 18th pick. 2, he's like a much more raw version of Chris Williams and really only projects to LT or G (in a ZBS). Not to mention this thread is missing several choices in each round. Oh yeah, if Malcolm Jenkins somehow manages to fall to 18, there should be no way we pass on him unless Orakpo, Everrette Brown, Sanchez, Oher, or Andre Smith fall to 18 as well.
  23. This would be my guess as well. From what I've heard he's an awesome guy. High character, family guy, etc. But there have been concerns that he might blowup once he's away from his family, on his own for the first time since he was a kid, but this time with millions of dollars.

  25. The only two that I have interest in on that list is Brown and Stinchcomb.
