  1. I actually think Garza would be much better suited at a backup role of both guard positions and C. Than you can put Metcalf back at RG and Steinbach at LG and draft a RT to replace Miller either this upcoming year or the the after that. Or even draft a LT and put Tait back at RT which if im correct is his natural position.
  2. Well you can argue Domanick Williams but TJ is clearly a superior RB than Lamont Jordon, the fact that anyone would think otherwise is ridiculous.
  3. Yeah it reallly looked like a timing pass to me and I found it weird that Moose didnt even turn around to look at it. Kind of like the 2 int. Peyton Manning threw against the Chiefs when Marvin ran the wrong route. I was for the most part happy with how Rex performed besides the fumbled snaps which really need to be corrected.
  4. Did you watch the superbowl? Besides that one int. TD Rex made pretty good decisions all around. If it wasnt raining and I know it was but if not he is 21 for 28 with 2 TD's 1 Int and over 200 yards passing. I blame Turner as much as anybody for the offensive woes on sunday. That and the weather.
  5. Ummm incase you havent noticed Dunn is starting to get up there in age, TJ is a better RB currently. He is also way better than Norwood. Also TJ is a better RB than Addai, I like Addai and maybe in a couple seasons he will be the better RB but if you want to compare now its undoubtly TJ. Finally Henry had a nice end but if I had to pick between the 2 id take TJ in a heartbeat.
  6. This was Rex's first full season as a starter, if you didnt expect growing pains your a fool. Next season I expect Rex to take from what he learned this season and become a good QB. Not fumble the snap so much and start to make better reads. I think next season assuming we dont lose Briggs we will be very very dangerous.
  7. Id give Jones a realistic shot to win a starting job on Baltimore, Cleveland, Indy, Tenn, Houston, Denver, Oakland, Giants, GB?, Detroit, Carolina, Atlanta. Not saying he would for sure start on all those teams but i definitely wouldnt rule it out.
  8. I think Ogun, TJ, and Fred Miller are all expendable. And we definitely should at very least franchise Briggs if not resign him long term. That obviously in me leaves our biggest hole at RT and to me is the most important. Also id consider letting Ruben Brown go too because I think highly of Metcalf.
  9. I was more dissapointed in the defense not being able to stop the Colts on 3rd down. Overall they didnt let a great offense score that much but they also had a tons of trouble ending drives and that would of made a world of difference. Also I was dissapointed in the O-Line who seemed to get manhandled... and yes I was dissapointed in Grossman but its the defense and O-Line where all the money is invested into.
  10. Branch was still under contract, and was only traded because he wanted a new one. The football is not like the NBA sign and trades arent a thing of regularity. Basicly we either sign him long term, lose him in f/a, or franchise him.
  11. If we cant reach a long term deal with him, idonno if tis just me but wouldnt it be stupid not to franchise him.
  12. there was a thing on comcast sportnet or was it ESPN idonno one of the 2 and they interviewed Chris Harris about the whole thing. He was laughing about it the whole interview and said everyone on the team says he promised them tickets now. Supposedly a broker or something gave the guy a good deal on tickets, cant remember exactly what the whole deal was but the guy is going to the superbowl.
  13. I think people here overate Rivera a bit as a coach, this is the 2nd year where he got a slew of interviews and nothing has happened. I like Rivera dont get me wrong, but I actually give Lovie more credit for the defense than I do Rivera.
  14. he did, but some people feel like everyone in the world is against us.. I know a bunch of experts picked NO to win but we were the favorites by 3 points going into the game and the Saints were the trendy pick. "Americas Team"
  15. Although with Reggie Bush situation I still think Deuce McAllister has a few years left in him. Not 2 mention I think Bush will always be a 100% more effective if he is on a team with another good RB if not McAllister.
  16. I loved him as a player but ive hated him as an analyst.
  17. Jones had a hell of a lot more yards but idonno about better. Benson was the bruiser and he was the feautured back today for a reason. After taking poundings from Benson like 2-3 series in a row, the Saints had no shot to stop a re-energized TJ that one drive. I love the way we used the RB's a lot today, Benson is our bruiser and should be the feautured back but TJ definitely needs lots of carries.
  18. The Saints ran that 2 minute drill perfectly I cant really fault the D for it. We had a couple chances to stop it but Brees performed great and Colston made one helluva catch to get it started.
  19. Even though he seemed dreadful here, ive actually heard a lot of good things about Shoop so I dont think its as bad of an idea as a lot of you make it out to be.
  20. says the person who misses half the games and dont lie to me you dont even watch all the games when your at home and they are on TV.
  21. If your going of Sunday's game the O-Line played horrible in pass blocking. Grossman didnt get sacked a bunch but he was being rushed and was getting hit really fast. And it wasnt from extra guys blitzing... well they did blitz but there were a lot of failed blocking assignments and people were missing blocks or in TJ's case hardly bumping guys.
  22. why do we give TJ the ball on the goal line... Benson is clearly superior on the part of the field.
  23. why do we keep giving them 1st downs?
  24. That was pretty easy.... I knew the first one was Peyton Manning and wasnt hard to guess the 2nd was Sexy Rexy.
