UDFA Signees Thread
Taufoou is a beast of a blocker but not much else. Still, I'll take whatever competition we provide for Jason.

Good draft but...
Balogh was a UDFA, not drafted. He was my biggest surprise of last PS, even bigger than Rideau. Played pretty good at LT, much better than I had anticipated for an undrafted guy. Never really seen any good series' from Tyler though. Right now I see eight sure roster spots, and two maybes in Balogh/Reed/Louis. Louis is a PS guy, not a Reed, fan, and we could have certainly got a young guy to bring up behind our current OTs to compete with Balogh. So basically, yeah, eight is an okay number for OL depth, but it's not like 9 is over-the-top. I think most everyone like me, wanted to see on upside development OT out of the draft, but even though I despise the plug and chug that JA has adopted for our OL, I'm honestly fine with going with what we have and just waiting it out another year.

Damn Joel Bell is a UDFA too?

Wait, is Mitch King really a UDFA? Man, I'd give a kid with that heart a shot any day. Might not have a true position, too small for DT, too slow for DE, but I would definitely give him a shot regardless of system.

Stole the words right out of my mouth. That foot injury is what caused him to go undrafted, but we can always PS him for a while. Either way, we need some fresh blood at FB because McKie blows.

246 Lance Lewis TE
Because for some bat shit reason, our staff actually likes McKie. God I hope we grab Southerland as a UDFA.

246 Lance Lewis TE
It was actually 303. Probably just mistyped.
-
251 Derek Kinder WR
Was a monster before he tore his knee up.
-
Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
Can Gilbert run a 4.6?
-
246 Lance Lewis TE
The dyke!!! It's Louis BTW.

Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
It's what inspired Jarron to do it in the first place. It's a pretty well known thing.

No, but last I check 42> 36, so he could. Archuletta did the same thing, and he sucks now, though I will admit I used to love him early on with the Rams.

Athletically and physically speaking, Anderson is the bigger freak between the two. Hard to find a combine like that from a 6'4" 255 pounder. 4.6 40, 42" vert, 10'7" broad, 6.96 3-cone. That's right up there with freak LBs.

Afalava #190
Fault in logic... Shad was not there when we took Melton. That pick was an upside pick, which I don't mind whatsoever in the fourth.

Afalava #190
I'll take it. The guy can run and thump.

#154 - Marcus Freeman, LB
Damn fine LB spect for our system. Another very athletic player who can play any of the three spots. Really stood out to me as the far rangier and more of the playmaking type LB compared to the uber solid Laur in OSU's corps. Would have preferred Spillman based on need, but you really can't argue with the awesome value here.
-
#140 - Johnny Knox, WR
Absolute burner, with great hips and agility in and out of routes but is still raw running them. Great effort after the catch, wonderful effort. Solid hands too. Iglesias can contribute right now, and we can teach Knox for a year or two while running him out in the slot on occasion.

At 119, it's D.J. Moore
Technically he's a lot closer to 5'9" than he is 5'8". He's 5'8-7/8"
-
At 105, it's Melton
You're right he is a UFA. BTW, there is no 5 year deals for anyone past the first. Standard for guys past the first is three years and RFA, or four years and UFA. We always go with the latter.

And deep speed. The guys is lightning quick, though.

This years Brandon Flowers.

He is basically Nate but stronger and a much better hitter.

Considering who we have are Bullocks and Bowman who hasn't played there but a little bit in JUCO, it's not out of the question at all.

Their* Yes, I'm a dick. Right on about what you said though.

We have Oguns on the decline and out after this season, Brown the overachiever, Anderson the underachiever who can walk after this season, and Izzy, who is a nice swing man. Not exactly studly at DE.
