  2. I think 60 plays is about the minimum for a win. 53 is pretty low.
  3. I think the Bears would be a good fit for him.

I doubt he wants to be a backup.

If he doesn't get flustered, he is pretty damn good. However, he is down right brutal sometimes, and I don't think the Bears offense suited him.
  6. Yeah, that was awesome. I almost thought he said the "f" variant of that word.

Yeah, it was just nice to see all the big plays, even if it was against the Browns.

Looking great. 50 yard Kickoff return, 38 yard Punt return, and a 43 yard pass reception.

Yeah, I can see us getting a lot of love from the pro-Cutler columnists. We have many things in are favor. I believe we are one of the harder teams to vote against. We have the same team + Cutler + coaching changes, which should improve on our record by at least a game or two compared to last year. I also think many people forget that we make the playoffs last year with a win at Houston, and could've easily been 8-0 to start last season if it wasn't for 3 3pt or less losses (CAR, TB, ATL).

Brett Favre is in his division now and will play him twice (unless he gets injured by then), so the pressure is actually up. Plus he has to prove that last year was no fluke.

Yeah, was just busting your chops per se.

    GB was 6-10.

Yeah, if we get there, we are winning it this time.

Look at the 52 second mark. Pretty clear what his intentions were.
  16. Just signed up as #10.

Yeah, geez. Now it makes sense why he was holding it like that when he came off the field.

I love these prediction systems and such. This one is funny. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Avo3...o&type=lgns The title says it all "Favre gives Vikings edge in NFC". Wow, so we finish 3rd in the Division and have the easiest SoS. No way.
  19. They said he looked slow and couldn't get any separation in practice. So I would say he is done.

Per PFT: What? Ripping through flesh? His hand hitting Ogun's didn't seem that bad. Wow. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...y-for-week-one/
  21. I agree 110%. I am sure McDaniels wanted his own people, and he has already made a huge impact on the current roster (a bunch of former Patriots). However, you don't alienate the single most important player on the team/franchise, then trade him away anyway. The funny thing about the whole situation is McDaniels got what he wanted in trading Cutler. He just didn't get back exactly what he wanted.
  22. The fact that Denver management executed a trade so quickly spoke volumes. You don't trade a franchise QB in the first place. All I can say is I am glad they did.
  23. Its a business. However, wouldn't anyone feel somewhat uncomfortable when the first thing the new boss does is try to get rid of you? How do you trust him after that? Then after that saga ends, he gives no assurance of long term predictability. Yeah these guys make millions, but it sucks if you have to move or uproot a family every couple of years - and not knowing when that could happen puts undue stress on you. Football is a team sport more than any other, and trust and familiarity breed success. As a QB, trust is huge. You have to trust the O-Line to block for you, the receivers to be at the right spot at the right time, etc, etc. AZ54 is on to something. There is no way Cutler is traded if the owner was not in on it from the start. He knew about McDaniels idea, and they felt so strongly about it, they got rid of Cutler anyway. Plan B.
  24. I thought the playing off stuff was sort of a Cover-2 scheme thing, and press was when you would play more man to man?
  25. Think about it this way, we had one of the best teams in football in 2006 with Rex Grossman at the helm. That was basically our ceiling. With Cutler, our ceiling is so much higher.
