For ARZ, PHI, and ATL, I think the questions will be more on the defensive side of the ball. Atlanta was gutted losing several starters and ARZ wasn't that good to begin with.

Here is a question, if we had made the playoffs in 2008, do we have Jay Cutler as our starting QB right now? I'd say no.

King is just saying if we win 12 games, then we will be 4th best in the league, which is about right. We won 9 last year with 3 losses by 3 or less; we upgraded the most important position on the field by a lot, and we have a easy schedule. Sounds about right to me. King also doesn't say the Titans WILL win the South, he just says that they can, so not really contradictory.

Peter King hit on the point that the Bears had some pretty good underlying stats, and if I remember correctly we lost 3 early games by 3 points or less. So that 9-7 could've easily been 12-4. I think that 11 wins is probably around the target for this year.

Actually that is about right for such an early line. GB is basically just getting the home field advantage points.

With none retired over 77, you would think they would be able to retire Ditka's and Hampton's pretty easily. I think they should also remove the restriction on which players wear which set of numbers, or at least make it less restrictive.

So here it is: Bears get: Jay Cutler, Johnny Knox - WR Broncos get: Kyle Orton, Robert Ayers - DE, Richard Quinn - TE (for picks #79 & #84), Alphonso Smith - CB (for 1st Round pick in 2010) Steelers get: Kraig Urbik - OL, Mike Wallace - WR (both picks for pick #64) Seahawks get: Bears #1 pick in 2010 (for pick #37) It seems that Denver had a chance to come out pretty good with the original trade. However, trading away a first rounder for A. Smith was a pretty big reach. Then trading picks #79 and #84 to grab Quinn was also pretty questionable. Seattle and Pittsburgh both made out pretty good.

I'll say Moore and Gilbert. Those two have a pretty high ceiling.

Yeah, I wonder if Seattle asked to move up, or the Bears were looking to move down. If Seattle was looking to move up, no way do you take that deal. If you are moving completely out of a round (19 slots), you should at least receive their 3rd this year and next.
