we had a combined 77 yards rushing.....last year SD gave up 100, but we also only had the ball for 22 min. the whole game.....so its not like we were notre dame trying to run the ball....the fumbles are a concern, and benson should have been able to get the first down on third and fourth....but im not really sure that was his fault...he had no where to go.... in addition this was taken from espn.com... i find it funny that the things jeremy green criticized benson for, are all the thing benson does better than thomas jones.....hes a much harder runner, who hits the hole hard....i actually think too hard....i wish benson would wait for his blocks to develop more like he did in college...and more like jones did (for as good as thomas jones was, he danced too much sometimes IMO)...in the pros it just seems like hes the opposite of soft to me and wants to deliver hits all the time

this is the reason i posted my doubts about the chris harris trade.....brown injured...and archuleta got burned by gates a few times....granted he is the best TE in the game, archuleta i thought looked mediocre in coverage...he had a few nice plays knocking the ball out of a guys hands, but then again they were on plays where the WR was open adn shouldnt have even gotten his hands on the ball....now we rely on d manning.....which is fine, i think hes a good player, but now if someone else gets hurt we are turning to brandon mcgowan or graham or payne who are all largely unproven....harris would have just been nice for depth to give guys like arch and manning a rest

dont know anything about Lousaka dont call me cliff polite, but this is interesting, i guess its mostly precautionary, but this is good news for guys like mcclover and rod wilson....it means they will stay on the team all year probably, as polite will prolly be the one gone when obafemi comes back....if the bears bring him back

i agree, i think mcclover is the odd man out when ayanbadejo gets back.... Dline, which looked like a concern is stacked.....every guy except izzy and dusty (who looks like he could start) has been a starter in this at some point in the last year or two

Manning, McBride, McGowan, Graham) Others: Payne Thats 53 right there....my guess is that wilson may get dropped in favor of payne, the bears had like 11 DB (counting hester) on the 53 man for the superbowl so i think they would wanna keep the 5th round pick in payne...but that wont happen til aynabadejo comes back (if the bears decide to bring him back, which they may not)....its also very possible that one of bazuin or okwo could get IRed...probably bazuin...hes the 5th DE, and missed a good chunk of camp....

i saw bazuin on espnnews the other day, seemed like a high character guy, but he said he thoguht he would be picked 3rd or 4th round hopefully.....

great sounds like the bears just used their 2nd round pick on a second day draft pick...although i can't complain with their ability to identify underrated DEs

what i find hilarious......is that team by team the bears are much closer to florida and the saints much closer to ohio state.......bears have speed on defense, and an erratic offense....saints, like ohio state have the high powered offense that relies on an accurate qb, with a questionable defense

i dont think theres any shame in going to the super bowl...regardless of who you beat.

i feel like o-line should be a big target with tait miller and brown all getting up there in age...other than that OLB will be big too, with briggs status uncertain.
