  1. If the Bears can't even beat the Bills, I'm not sure who they can beat. Hard to see where all the wins come from, especially if injuries pile up like they have already.
  2. Embarrassing. Deserved the loss.
  3. Cutler's second half has been bad. Every throw is off his back foot now. Almost a game ending INT.
  4. Why did they burn another timeout with 4 minutes left?
  5. That's why they play the whole game. He was playing well up until that moment. Still has time for redemption.
  6. And there's the Jay Cutler throw. Terrible time for it to happen.
  7. Also, megapunt needs to start kicking the damn thing instead of trying to drop shot every punt. He's suppose to be this strong legged kicker, and all his punts are like 30 yard hangers.
  8. Just one year where the Bears can stay healthy is all I ask.
  9. He's had a few low passes and one late pass that luckily got deflected to Morgan, but I think his INT was because of Bennett not knowing the route. Either way, he's had several great throws, including the one to Forte that got dropped. Also some nice improv plays evading defenders to get the ball to somebody. Overall, he's had a pretty good game.
  10. Sutton has flashed a few times on D.
  11. Cutler has been very good for the most part.
  12. Can the Bears please catch an injury break this year? Guess not. What is that, 4 guys now?
  13. Conte did something that wasn't bad!
  14. Got to convert redzone opportunities into TD's. Forte needs to catch that pass.
  15. Garza was terrible last year, but 2 penalties and multiple low snaps already in Game 1 is inexcusable. I see they already benched him for De La Puente
  16. Ahh there's Briggs looking the other way on a misdirection and Conte with the whiff. #Bears
  17. Now the offense isn't getting any explosive plays.
  18. The offense basically has to be perfect for the Bears to win some of these games this year. Turnovers are going to be their death sentence, because the defense can't stop anybody.
  19. I would fire Trestman in a millsecond to get Harbaugh. The guy can coach. 3 straight NFC Championship appearances. Don't know what the exact issue are with him in SF, but if he gets fired and the Bears struggle for another year under Trestman, I'd have no second thoughts about reaching out to him.
  20. Welcome to the NFL, rookie. He almost had a nice interception. It wasn't all bad. His poor tackling was on full display though, as was mentioned in his college scouting report. He was always more of a pass defender than a run stuffer.
  21. I'll start with the Bears.. I've gone back and forth on this one all Summer. At first, I was thinking there was no way they could be worse than a 10 win team with the additions they made on the defensive line and the fact that the offense is in its 2nd year under Trestman. However, over the last several weeks, it has become readily apparent that this team may have more questions than I can ever remember a Bears team having in recent memory. -Do they have A LB'er? -Do they have any reliable safeties? -Do they have a punt returner? -Do they have a kickoff returner? -Can Jared Allen stay healthy and productive? -Will any of the rookie defensive players make an impact? -Can Jay Cutler actually stay on the field? -Where is the depth at TE? -Will the special teams (coverage unit) suck as much as they did last year and the pre-season? My prediction: 8-8 The first two questions should be a joke leading into the season, but the fact that it's not raises serious concern. The Bears may find out that they do not have a single quality NFL starting safety on their roster, and after last year's debacle, it's hard to fathom how or why this position was neglected as much as it was. Like-wise with the LB'er position. Briggs and DJ Williams both look old, and we don't know if Bostic or McCllelin can even play in this league. That is a scary thought-- to think the Bears may not have any quality players at the safety or LB'er position this year. That is a recipe for disaster. As for everybody else.. Division winners-- NFC North: Packers (11-5) NFC East: Eagles (10-6) NFC South: Saints (13-3) NFC West: Seahawks (13-3) Wildcard-- Cardinals (10-6) Falcons (10-6) Division winners-- AFC North: Bengals (10-6) AFC East: Patriots (12-4) AFC South: Colts (13-3) AFC West: Broncos (13-3) Wildcard-- Chiefs (10-6) Ravens (9-7) Super Bowl prediction: Seahawks def Broncos 41-27
