I'm not sure how I feel about the trade. I really thought Alexander had great potential. And to go within the division hurts more.

There goes Alexander

Now that sucks. We are trading down just out of range for players we could use to get picks in an round where players are less talented, brilliant.

With all the trades makes me think Ryan Pace is drafting with a Fanspeak Premium account!

In reality this team is rebuilding and hopefully this strategy of stockpiling talents will get this team back in the playoffs sooner than later!

guard cody whitehairj. Can we just go ahead and move Long to LT?

Whitehair/OG

But why? I'm a professed OL lover, and I would not do that. Clark makes more sense since Long officially got moved back to OG.

The Bears pick 2 positions of strength in rounds 1 and 2. Interesting.

Whitehair/OG

He played LT in college, maybe he stays put there. Everyone projects him as a OG.

I'm hoping he plays LT. I like him there more than I like him at OG.

He is 6'5" 312, ranked in the top 32 players on most player rankings I have seen. He could be staying at LT.

Matt Slauson was one of my favorite Bears. Would hate to see them move on from him, unless they are going to move him to Center. Matt's an awesome guard.

Rush lb it's not a strength. In fact we don't have a single one besides floyd.

Willie Young and Houston.

PFF had him rated as the top LT in college football last year. A stud run blocker. He was just rated as the best valve pick in the draft by PFF

Hard to argue against that logic...

I can live with the best edge rusher and best guard in the draft in the first two punks plus gaining two picks.

All I ask is for a good player at good value. This checks those boxes.

He was a favorite of mine and can start day one. Smart, fundamentally sound, will make our guard dual one of the best.

You mean those two guys who never reach the qb or impact the game positively?. Gtfoh.

He was the top rated OG in the draft, but still could be put at LT, that is where he played in college, maybe they scored a A+ for out thinking everybody else?

Or could give us the best OG tandem in the league.
